长存的.原始社会不可能持久存在.哪个国家如果没有了小圈子,那多半是在动乱之中.
但关键是,要有合理的圈子外的人进去圈子的渠道.
如果屁民没了上升的渠道,那屁民里面的陈胜,刘邦,洪秀全,孙中山就会起来造反.
明朝朱元璋明确讲过,科举网罗天下英雄,就是这个意思.
满清奉养一些满洲贵族其实也不是大问题.这套封建体制传了千年,不是没道理的.
问题出在,西方有更合理的圈子内外优胜劣汰的体制.东西方一接触,就显出代差了.
这就好比你拿举国体制下的全运会和美国NBA比圈钱,那肯定是没希望的.

前一段时间大家讨论基辅战役的得失，非常热烈。最近读了点文章，也写写自己一点鸡
零狗碎的看法。
首先，德国人的首要目标是什么？希特勒的想法是很明确的，那就是消灭红军主力，而
不是攻克莫斯科 (D. Glantz, The Battle for Leningrad, Kansas Univ. Press, pp.
26)。这个逻辑很自然：如果只是攻克莫斯科，俄国人仍然可以抵抗，从历史上看，俄
国人被拿破仑占领了莫斯科，而俄国人笑到了最后；从现实看，俄国人在列宁格勒有工
业，乌克兰有农业，高加索有石油，顿巴斯有工业，莫斯科的工业可以迁到乌拉尔继续
生产，攻克莫斯科并不意味着俄国就会投降，而如果消灭了红军的主力，俄国人想不投
降也没有办法(说到这里，希特勒向毛泽东抛个媚眼：俺们德国人也是要以消灭敌人有

史学教授，写过不少畅销书，特别是近些年，金融危机他写 money 的历史，西方被危
机重创，他又开始写西方文明会不会 doom，所以也有不少做学术的人批评他，说他唯
一一部拿得出手的学术著作就是他早先写的关于罗斯切尔德家族的。
Anyway，他这本书也是在解释为什么西方会崛起，虽然名字上写是 The West 和 The
Rest，但是这个 the Rest 很大程度上还是中国，反正不管怎样，中国都会在背景默默
的中枪。。。
他总结了崛起的若干“药方“，其实也没什么太大的新意，无非是马克思 + 韦伯，譬
如新教伦理，譬如科学，譬如医药，譬如保护私人产权，还有竞争以及消费社会（消费
社会可能新一点儿吧）。（印象里他没有提发现新大陆和煤炭之类的，不然就成大杂烩
了）
不过比较有趣的是他的结论：就是中国崛起超过了西方，但这仍然是西方的胜利，因为
