有一笔钱，公司要用1099发给我。google了一下，W2是要扣income tax等税，1099的话
，是不是一分钱的税都不扣，要自己报啊？比如1万块钱，公司发给我1099还是1万块，
但是我要自己去报税？年底等退税的时候，这个1099的怎么处理啊？是要报税还是要跟
其他W2一起退税啊？不弄它我就拿了1万块钱算不算偷税，会不会被查啊？完全不太懂

时候到底是算resident 还是 nonresident？从DOR网站上就找不到"resident alien"这
个词的解释，看到一个学校给出的FAQ里提到外国F-1永远不会成为resident，但是也没

科州从7月1日起执行CO-RCSA SB251法案，对，你没看错，就是SB 250 + 1 法案。
这个法案其实是给非法移民发驾照和身份证。但是这些非法移民需要特别面谈，所以只
有5个office能办。科州脑残政策在于，他们把非法移民和所有temporary lawful
presence的人（包括H1B和F1)都放在一起，所以现在都走同样的程序。
这些人不能像过去直接到DMV去办驾照，他们要先到DMV网上预约

最后一个按钮。
你可能注意到这个按钮进去后所有日期都filled了，那是因为：申请的人太多（太多非
法移民

都设成满的省得麻烦。只有晚上12点才开放一小会，而且只能约3个月以后了。

Basically you have to pay
- Title fee
- Sales tax
- Tag fee
For the sales tax, it depends on your county of residency.
Even if you buy a car out of state, you have to provide the proof that you
have paid the sales tax and it matches the county sales tax. If not, you
have to pay additional cost to match it. |

the Georgia DOR went after me for additional tax because I paid less. Your
dealer should have all the answers you need and will take care of the tax
issues. I do know some people take advantage of tax difference in different
states, but it may be risky and certainly COMPLICATED. |

侧, 同一个建筑商D.R. Horton 正在开发的两块地Wyndham Park (School: Lambert
High )and Johns Creek Station (School: Northview High)买新房. 注意, 该建筑商
的Listing Agent 要求 Buyers 必须有 Buyer Agent 一起才给签合同. 感谢我太太的
“铁杆” 盟友, 他们愿意把这样的机会给我做.
我上一篇文章中刚刚介绍了Forsyth County, GA. 昨天的买房景象就好像是印证了我的
推断, $40 万的大房子, 两个Listing Agents的Office门庭若市, 车水马龙, 周末来看
Lot, 看新房, 签合同的人排队啊! 还有Lambert high school 附近的Nichols View 也
是人气如潮, 简直就像国内一线城市新屋开盘的翻版, South Forsyth County 到处是
新开工的机器隆隆声, 真是火爆了.
