拿取色拉等凉菜的餐台前，我突然见到了小鹿。她正带着围裙，低头为一个顾客切着一

既然可以自己拿沙拉，那就应该是个自助餐的餐厅，而且是西餐的。可是一般晚餐自助
餐是不会有所谓的 “面包圈”--不知道这是 bagel 还是 doughnut 的翻译？不管是何
者，就算有面包圈也没听过需要切的。Doughnut 大部份人是抓起来直接就口吃的，偶
尔有人用刀叉。Bagel 嘛如果是拿 bagel 做三明治（像诺亚贝果卖的那种）。可是我
没见过自助餐里面有这样的贝果，就连早餐自助餐也没有，不管是美式还是欧式的早餐
。难道是犹太人的自助餐？那就更玄了，我孤陋寡闻，没听说过有犹太自助餐的说法。

而第一次取到brownie的可能性是5/15
第二次取到doughnuts或者cookie中的另一个的概率肯定大于3/14 (3/14或者5/14)
第二次取到bronie的概率是4/14,

如果懂得排列组合:
取到2brownie是C(5,2)/C(15,2)

都是军事用途的，硬烧伤或者模拟核试验的，米帝境内功率最强的激光应该是波音搞得
那个反导弹系统，单位面积强度最大的应该是那个XX实验室里面用32束激光聚焦到同一
点搞核聚变的。科研上很少用到太强功率的激光，生物的更不可能了，直接把细胞气化
了。
其实只要有那个doughnut的激光，有很多手段可以达到超分辨的，stimulated
emission只是其中一种，还未必是最好的一种。这个里面最重要的idea是用激光
deplete你的on state。sunney xie好像就用类似的办法实现了raman的单分子探测。 |

STED造doughnut的方法，早Hell几十年就有人知道怎么做了，可是一直只是
做光学的人自娱自乐的一个小东西。Hell从骨子上是个物理学家，他自己造激
光可以，但是做optical enigineering 的底子差点，所以走了好多弯路才发现
做doughnut方法已经在那里了。如果是专做imaging system engineering
的人，可能第一时间就想到了。不过我自己觉得想法比工程实现重要的多。
想法好，目标明确，工程上的难题不管花多久总能解决的。现在回头看Hell成
名前的文章，杂七杂八试了好多不靠谱的工程方案，个中心酸，恐怕只有同行

发帖数: 125 | 27 前两周看到版上有召集同学一起去做externship，可以拿deal的。由于忙于考试，自己
实在没有精力去弄这个事情。看来之前doughnut同学的召集帖已经close了。现在自己
重新开一个，召集同学 一起去拿deal.
americlership现在在做promotion,500/week，如果是有2个人以上可以拿到400/week的
deal。自己可以根据自己的location选择医院，现在是promotion期间，所以无论是
inpatient还是outpatient都是一个价格。而且似乎他们公司新增加了不少in-patient
locations. 这个可以具体和他们的agent电话里谈，因为是一个很长list，我没有要求
看，只是详细问了我自己的所在地的医院和自己感兴趣的program。
另外，membership fee有两种，$399，和$799的，都是1年的。我详细问了一下agent，
贵的那个包括了帮你修改PS，CV和ROL； 便宜的那个只包括修改CV。我具体也不太清楚
这两个的区别，可以自己问问agent，然后根据自己的经济情况选择。我自己选择的是$

毕业n年，一直对外宣称要考试，却一直拖拖拉拉，光FA就买了3本，但就是下不了决心
，中间因为怀孕还放弃了一次考试
真正开始复习开始于8个月前误打误撞入了NBME小组，看到自己的差距，开始很认真的
考虑考试，match等等，一直是被动的人，有小组就和小组好好学习，没有小组就一个
人闭门造车，用我爸的话说，凡是有个风吹草动，孩子，电视，买菜，房子。。。。，
马上就把书扔了。
直到主把doughnut MM 带来和我一起复习，感觉就像一辆慢车被挂到一辆特快列车上，
紧赶慢赶，总算把我带进了状态，翻来覆去的背FA，真是帮助很大，其实很多的问题，
把FA背熟了就迎刃而解了。Doughnut考试去以后，我基本又回到了懒散状态，尽管还有
1个多月就要考试，但是正所谓‘立志為善由得我，只是行出來由不得我’，这时候主
又给我带来了Zumba MM一起复习,Zumba MM 渊博的知识，和风细雨的讲解，缓解了我考
前焦躁浮夸的情绪，帮我踏踏实实把知识点过了一下。就在考前一个月的时候，接到

A scientific mission ship, trapped in dense pack ice off East Antarctica
since Christmas Day, is close to being rescued as a Chinese icebreaker nears.

在配菜的饮食习惯上跟天朝最接近，甚至超过日本
日本和韩国主要是主食跟天朝一样，都以米饭为主
但是配菜的话，日本和韩国都以海鲜类为主
日本配菜口味偏清淡，虽然吃起来不错
但是毕竟没有德国那种肥猪肉吃下去爽阿
棒子泡菜＋烧烤吃多了也腻
论饮食，全世界最糟糕的美帝绝对排名前几位

年免費的甜甜圈)，甚至有台灣女孩手提著Krispy Kreme紙盒，開心地跟電話另一頭報
喜：「才3個小時就排到了！」台灣人瘋狂排隊的行徑，看在美國人眼裡只覺得可笑。
