先是电冰箱不工作--不过跟房东反映后，很快就找人来了，说给我们买了台“新”的，
结果我这二手冰箱花了我足足一个半小时才擦干净。
地下室有 washer and drier, 一家分别各有washer 和drie，分开附电费。现在发现房
东他们家天天洗大量衣服--三四缸的样子，两台washer,drier并用。
然后现在又发现sink漏水。。。。
哎。。。 |

师傅来检查，发现结冰，以为是冷媒不足，加了后还是结冰，然后确认是TXV出问题，
是这样吧？
如果是这样个情形，先得搞清楚到底是漏还是TXV出问题。
如果是TVX出问题的话，加的时候即可就知道了，不需要等到加到3磅后才告诉你TXV出
问题， 你其实不应该付冷媒的钱。换个TXV， 加上可能需要添加一点点冷媒，500刀最
多了， 而且绝对找得到更便宜的。成本就在100刀。还有如果filter drier堵塞也会引
起结冰（请注意：这个filter drier和furnace filter 是两码事， 不要混浊），
filter drier 成本也就15刀。 |

问意见，选择一个做offer：
1. single family house，上市2月多了，降到400K。1956 年的ranch，~2700sqf，地
税 $3800, solid stone and brick exterior，有porch，前后院都很大，后院之后时
隔country club。2个车库，driveway上至少可以再听4两侧，不堵住车库，at the end
of a cul-de-sac。对面的几个房子看起来也不错，都带有私人的pool。但这个房子的
隔壁是个较小的2成吧。同个路上还有一个小一些的ranch在卖。
优点：全部wood floor，前后院大，尤其后院fenced- in yard.
每个房间都很亮，有很大的窗户。
缺点：1.房子较旧，wood floor明显看得起来有些旧了，不知道2000年现任房主买的时
候重新打蜡过没。
2）浴室的洗脸台明显的先简陋，肯定需要自己再做柜子。

故障，橡胶管老化泄露，橡胶管是从空调的receivor drier接出来的(中文应该叫贮液罐吧？)，能听见呲呲的。
准确的说应该不是漏水，而是漏出来的制冷剂造在管子上造成了凝结水。。这个是我猜的 |

1. AC Compressor 要价469
2. AC Reciever Drier 要价112
3. AC Condensor 要价374
也就是说基本都要换，因为三处都漏了。 dealer给我算了算价钱，parts+labor一共
1500。我听了
是相当的，告诉他太便宜，小于一万块钱的问题我都不care。对方也很礼貌的让我到任
何凉快的地方去
休息。
于是我就回家上网search，Compressor绝对是和车的model相关的，但是不清楚是不是
后面两项也是
跟车的型号相关？尤其是condenser，似乎好像很多车都是通用的吧？外行说话，请轻
拍。
同时也想请教各位朋友，遇上这种问题，各位都到哪里去买配件？我google和ebay了一
下，都比
dealer要价低，但是不知如何能选择正确的型号，也不知如何能找到reliable的seller

2000 Honda Civic LX 空调问题
开在高速时，突然车身有微小的震动，大约持续了一两秒钟，之后就觉得空调没有那么
冷了，再后来，等红灯的时候，车身开始剧烈的上下晃动，到后来停车的时候也是。但
是只要把空调关上，吹自然风就没有任何问题。
开去Firestone，做了空调的检查，然后列了张单子给我说要把compressor, expansion
valve, condenser, drier, 整个全换掉，加上各种belt和人工，开价1500。
想请问各位，这到底是个什么情况，有没有必要把所有的东西换一遍。买的二手车，实
在觉得没有必要花这么多钱来弄个空调。

If you can use a hair drier near it you might be able to do this. Just take
off the rear cover and bulb then blow hot air into the housing through the
bulb hole. However in order to figure out and fix where the leak comes from
you still have to take it off. Otherwise it will be foggy again when it
rains. |

工作,如果高压管压力高估计是receiver/drier堵了之类的需要他们说的拆开空调系统
清理.如果低压管压力高,高压管压力正常可以尝试短接sensor看压缩机是否运转,如果
不运转可能只是clutch坏了,换个clutch就好了,不用断管子. |

西都开始要坏了。
上个月花了400换了timing belt, water pump, drive belts。现在问题是空调漏冷媒
，送到车铺查，用了染色剂，3天漏了5oz，大概在1/5的容量，所以基本半个月就差不
多漏光。今天检查出来说是目前只发现是压缩机的Seal漏了，换压缩机+drier等等，一
共要500块。
我的想法是，这个车可能开到明年找工作了就买新车了，然后这车就留着自己折腾着玩
。因为要卖的话，真卖不到几个钱。
哎~我是不是该选择挺过这个夏天算了。。 |

cold air is drier than warmed air. so blowing AC with a lower temperature
setting always works for defogging.
if warmed air is not water saturated, it may also reduce fog. but if the
moisture is so high, blowing warmed air is not going to work (can make it
worse if outside temperature is low). |

如果你们夫妻有两辆车, 你没法同时作为两辆车的primary driver.
如果你们只有一辆车
换你primary drier 应该保费能低一点. 具体找保险公司quote一下就知道便宜多少了. |

a big and beautiful community near the ocean, which named Harbor Point. The
location is 3 minutes walk to University of Massachusetts Boston, 10
minutes walk to Shaws. Also, transportation is so convenient, 10 minutes
