toyota网站上看了下，确实有

sequoia有托森有中差锁没错，但是其前后差速器都是开放的，靠abs刹车来模拟前后差
速锁调节动力，考虑到丰田一贯的夸大宣传，例如爬坡王就是类似的系统，但是实际测
试几乎形同虚设（爬坡王过驼峰路过不去，一个轮子打滑就趴窝了，只能靠冲），所以
我对sequoia上这个刹车模拟前后差速锁系统报怀疑态度，估计丫的就是一前后全开系统
至于expedition，整个系统和sequoia差不多，只不过用的多片离合进行限滑这个确实
不如sequoia，但是中差也是带机械锁的，而且expedition用的这个伯格瓦纳四驱系统
，号称是能够把100%torque任意分配到任意一个轮子的，在这方面绝对要比sequoia强

of technologies, volt is way more advanced.
after the tax incentives, a volt can actually cost less. even it costs 1-2k
more at purchase, don't forget it saves ~$1k in gas per year if you do short
commute. plus, it has less moving parts compared to that of a gas-engine
car, the maintenance cost is expected to be only 1/5 to 1/4; as a result,
the drivetrain can last much longer. |

之前一直没有什么大毛病。这次drivetrain warranty保修的2个地方漏油，期中一个是
发动机的稳定器，另一个没太听懂。不保修的后减震器（左，右）也漏油了。也可能是
dealer比较黑，但是之前也没什么大问题，感觉是放坏的。
建议长时间不开找个朋友有空开出去跑跑。
另altima的质量确实堪忧，之前保修过一个发动机的leak,加上这次一共4处了。这次
要是没warranty大概要3000，感觉早trade-in早解脱。 |

车是2011的假美丽，3万迈了，机油刚换过；开七八十迈的时候比较明显，，六十以下
不太听得到，从70
减速的时候发动机声变小所以更为明显。
Google了一下，猜想可能的原因-
1.Engine air filter: 最近刚换了K&N的，感觉不太会是这个问题，因为换之前就有这
个问题，但是Google上有人说换了K&N发动机加速声音变大了；
2.alignment或wheel balance，悬挂问题：前一阵有一次过一个没黄线标志的减速带快
了点，颠的厉害了点，造成这些结构的变形；
3.积碳：劳动节后traffic多了好多，每天路上很堵
4.Transmission: 早前有一次从ramp并入高速时为了躲开快速跟来的后车猛拉过一次，
感觉车身突然往前窜了一下，不知道是不是对变速齿轮造成了磨损，而且似乎问题就是
从那时候首次出现的，现在严重一些了。
5.传动皮带，timing belt老化：不知道是不是3年旧的车该换了。
似乎还有drivetrain warranty，不知道能不能管点

purpose, but not all. Total silence, swift acceleration (in Sport mode), low
-center-of-gravity, time saving from stopping at a gas pump or maintenance,

road driving, there's not such a big difference between 4WD and FWD. In this
case, 4WD in low speed should be adequate for regular road trips.

首先你这个方案本身就是电传动的概念，
也就是发动机和驱动轮间没有刚性机械连接，而是通过发电-输电-电机驱动的功率传输，
来实现驱动。
在大型交通工具比如船（尤其是军舰）或者火车上这种解决方案是广泛存在的
它的最大好处还是驱动布局上要比传统机械传动（通过齿轮/驱动轴）灵活很多
但在汽车上用，一个比较明显的问题就是在现有条件（技术和成本的限制）下，
传动效率不如机械传动
主要原因之一是输电过程中的损失。
其次对汽车而言，只有电传动并不解决问题。
传统汽油车经济性不好，一个重要原因是汽油机的经济工况非常窄，
只在中低转速中低负载时有较好的热效率。
而正常驾驶，尤其是市区驾驶中经常出现的启动加速过程，恰恰是高负载的工况，
经济性要差很多。
只用电传动的话，当你需要高动力输出时仍然需要发动机工作在非优工况，
因此对上述问题仍然无法有效解决。
那么实际上hybrid系统的解决方案是加上个电池，同时加一个电机驱动，
这样使得在走走停停的非优工况时可以直接用电机驱动，来避免汽油机的非优工况工作。
但同样的，如果你的电驱方案也加上一个电池，构成一个点驱动的插电混动方案

所谓range extender只是一个概念上的说法，原则上只要你在电驱动
（不管全电还是插电混动）车上装了汽油机，就可以叫它range extender。
也就是说，叫不叫这个名字，和具体驱动形式如何实现，并不严格相关。
volt和i3最大的不同，本质上在前者实际上是基于hybrid drivetrain，
配合比传统hybrid更大容量的电池来实现一定的全电里程。
但考虑到全电里程很有限，所以一定要考虑汽油机驱动时的效率问题，
所以采用高速巡航时传动效率更高的机电混合驱动/传动设计。
而i3本质上就是一辆全电车，汽油机甚至是选装。对它而言重要的是全电驱动的部分，
而且全电续航里程本来就比较大，绝大多数时候是不需要汽油机介入的
所以汽油机驱动时的效率并不是个大问题，重要的只是解决有无汽油机增程的问题
也因此它可以采用结构更简单的全电驱动，汽油机仅发电的设计。

顺便你看下，accord这个车的传动比，设置在了70mph巡航时2550转
这个转速其实是有些偏高了，如果真的就考虑经济性的话，
在2000rpm以下恐怕效果会更好
70mph 2550rpm的话，意味着80/85mph巡航的话2914/3096rpm,
换句话说它恐怕更长要在3000rpm左右工作
但如果它70mph的转速设得更低，意味着扭矩放大率更低，
那么在比如55/60mph（典型的state road/US road上的巡航车速）时的转速就会过低了
无论经济性还是输出动力都受影响
从这个角度上看，这个传动比的设定其实也是因为传动比不可变，做的妥协
而对于传动汽油车或者toyota type的hybird drivetrain，
完全可以设定两个不同的变速比（对于自动/手动档车而言就是最高档和次高档，

clear the 14/15 models, you should be able to get $10k of msrp easily.
for 14/15 volt with everything, 40k msrp, subtracting 10k dealer/chevy
discount, subtracting $7.5k federal credit (in MA, you get $2.5k rebate),
that gives you $20k+TTL.
once all 14/15 models are sold out, buying a used volt is a good option,
because of the minimal wearing of the drivetrain. |

长话短说吧,Chrysler家的东西纸面上,设计,平台之类的都挺靠谱...但是最后装配出来
的东西真的只能说是凭运气了.
那辆Charger SRT买来之后就有高速上莫名抖动的问题,50mph就开始有,越快越厉害,方
向盘和车身都有,而且是不同频率的,感觉上是同时从不同的来源在抖,可能是悬挂, 可
能是轮胎/轮圈,可能是drivetrain等等. 提车时只有5mi,应该是出厂就有的问题了.
刚开始不是很介意觉得可能开一阵自己会消失就让他去了...结果到了3k miles了没有
任何好转,开长途的都知道车子抖动有多烦. 我试图自己解决，送去一家我信任的轮胎
店付钱做road-force balance,坐下来说轮胎轮圈没问题. 我迷茫了,送去dealer，跑回

The AWD system has a neat trick. In order to reduce "parasitic loss" on the
drivetrain and boost efficiency, the rear axle is completely disconnected at
the transfer case and power unit when all-wheel drive is not needed. When
it is, up to 40 percent of power can go to the rear wheels, or 60 percent in
sport mode. You can feel that power in tight hairpin corners at high speeds
, but otherwise it behaves like a front driver until there's wheel slippage.
