最开始我以为毒饺子事件又是仇视“中国制造”的外国人搞出来的呢。原来不是。
2008年年初，刚开始在电视上看到这则新闻的时候，中国的媒体说问题不在中方，而在
日方。理由是日本调查人员在速冻饺子的包装袋上也发现了杀虫剂的成分。中国媒体很
斩钉截铁地说，这个杀虫剂的来源是日本超市里使用的杀虫剂。然后政府组织上百名的
中外记者来到石家庄市的速冻饺子厂。记者们对这个厂子的评价是，非常好，非常好，
非常好。
我当时看中国国内的新闻，大部分也都是他们说什么，自己就信什么。还没有像现在似
的看其他国家的媒体报道。
5年后的2013年，毒饺子案的犯罪嫌疑人吕月庭（石家庄市井陉县人）接受审判。事情
水落石出。
2009年的时候，日方发现，毒饺子中含有的杀虫剂的成分与日本本土生产的不一样。所

southerners only make "hun tun". the dumplings with open mouth and soup.
The dumplings has to be thin skin layered with heavy stuffing to be good
dumplings. The small spoiled kids sometimes even dont eat the thin layer,
but only the stuffing.
The stuffing mix is very important to make good dumplings too.
Besides, the best skin layes are the original hand-rolled. |

，就跑去厕所，坐在洗手池的台阶上读书，有没有味道不重要，有灯光就行，后来被宿
管阿姨发现，赶出来，狠批一顿，贴通告，再也不能去了。办法想尽了，就差没悬梁刺
骨了，用功并不代表能学好英语，英语是一种工具，不只是单纯的一门课程，它是拿来
用的，不只是应付考试的。不养成用英文思维的习惯，英文的学习是不会提高的，这和
你记多少单词没关系。比如，一个5，6岁的美国儿童，词汇量也就二千，可是他能流利
的说，不加思索的任意表达，你记了两万词汇不一定口语比他流利，这就是我说的“英

中国吃的文化是由来已久,但怎样把中国吃的文化介绍出去,怎样用英文来表达呢.虽然很
多人喜欢以拼音来表达，但没吃过中国小吃的老外肯定是不能理解的。还是让我们一块来
学习一下吧.

加拿大食品检验局及首尔贸易公司(Seoul Trading Corporation)在第一则食品警讯中提醒说，对鸡蛋会过敏的民众，请勿食用Misori牌的米粉饺子(Vermicelli Dumpling)及Choripdong牌的蔬菜饺子(Vegetable Dumpling)。
以上这些产品在卑诗省、埃布尔达省、沙斯卡其旺省、缅尼托巴省销售，产品中的鸡蛋成分没有在包装上标识。

一直以来，我都想写一篇有关翻译的杂文，然而由于本人水平有限，搜集资料困难
，以及缺乏好的切入点，就一直没写成。今天当我看到所谓专家提议不再把龙作为中国
的形象标志的新闻时，我的热情和灵感终于被激发出来了。
首先我想说的是吴友富算什么专家，又一个可耻的翻译罢了。想到中国的翻译，我
想到的基本上都是一些负面的东西，比如列强侵华时的汉奸翻译，通过各种媒体接触到
的蹩脚译文，糟糕的翻译教材等等。今天吴友富这个可耻的翻译竟然又提出要废除龙作
为中国形象标志。这个可耻的翻译吴友富的原因之一就是龙的英文是“dragon”,
dragon在西方的形象比较糟糕。这明显是在推托责任，龙一定要翻译成“dragon”吗？
dragon的形象在西方就一定不好吗，现在不好将来也不会变好吗？答案都是否定的。龙
作为一种传说，完全可以看作与西方传说的dragon不同的东西，毕竟这不是在探讨生物
学，要有统一的科学名称，当初中国的翻译把龙翻译成dragon本身就是一个蹩脚的翻译
，现在完全可以改回去，笔者提议英文翻译为loong,新造的词，发音接近龙。其实类似

，可以是月亮形状的蛋糕，有关于月亮的蛋糕，从月亮来的蛋糕，用月亮做成的蛋糕，
坐登月火箭时吃的蛋糕...到底什么是月饼？
不知道什么原因，也许是文化自卑感，还是对外国人过度体贴，中国在把中国特有的东
西翻译成英文的时候，把本身特有的意思给翻译得面目全非。“饺子”被翻译成
dumpling（我听过有个美国人曾取笑中国人，用dumpling来说中国人肯定是老憋着臭屁
）；年糕被翻译成 rice cake；汤圆被翻译成 rice ball；龙被翻译成 dragon（中国
的吉祥的管水的龙和西方邪恶的喷火的dragon 完全不是一回事）；等等等等。各位，
如果你是个外国人，不知道这些东西的原有意思，从这些英文的翻译里，你能了解到原
有意思吗？
再来看别的文化是怎么传播自己特有的东西的：意大利的 pizza（不会翻译成意大利蛋
糕),Spaghetti，macaroni,lasagna;墨西哥的taco,burrito;日本的sushi,sake,Udong;
韩国的kimchi;等等等等。

in those dumplings? China may have rapid economic growth but is still ruled
by a repressive government that can "disappear" you in a heartbeat and
censors all public media including old-school stuff like newspapers and
