Example: The Reverend is a known Biblical fundamentalist, so her objections

What is real?
Take for example the first successful theory of gravity, Ptolemy's system of
epicycles. It was used before Newton to describe the motion of the planets,
by assuming that the earth was static in the center of the world and the

I think most people are with big public research uniersities in the states.

IMHO, I only do ETF with my regular portfolio of which I actively manage.
While ETFs are more nimble and cheaper, as far as risk is concerned it is
really not that much different from stock picking. For 401K, since everyting
is super-longterm, I really need actively managed funds for better hedging
and risk control.
I do a lot of ETF though, especially a few months back when I was playing
with FX. It is much easier to deal with FX ETF which you can long/short much

difficult to get into than UIUC. Although UIUC is excllent, their admission
may be easier than U of Chicago (Uchicago's rank is around 40)
Similar things happened in China too. Jilin U, Harbin Inst.Tech. are both
very strong in Computer Science and in some areas maybe even stronger than
Fudan U and SJTU,but Jilin U and Harbin Inst. Tech. are much easier to get
into than Fudan U and STJU.

If anyone thinks debugging is the most fun, managers would definitely like that person. He/she would assign a lot of issues to that person.
I personally would avoid any debugging code from previous developer (especially
Indian developer), unless this is a well paid job. Reading their code
is boring and brain damaging. |

if you don't need complex business logic(complex processing

comparison. Suppose we compare Java with C/C++.
i. No operator overload, A+B is easier to read
than A.add(B)
ii. No multiple inheritance support, and introduce interface
(not really, we should accredit the concept of interface to
M$). Multiple inhertance is easier to understand and write
supposely, although it will cause many problem.
iii. Way too much, another may be fixed length of primitives disable

team. They now favors OpenGL again...
Java3D is object-oriented, unlike OpenGL. It makes doing things
such as animation, mouse etc significantly easier. However, OpenGL
stuff seemed to be more popular, easier to implement etc.
In short, don't waste time on Java3D.
As for Java2D, usually knowint Graphics/Graphics2D is good enough.
You probably don't even have to worry about transformations etc.

Anyway, I dont know Java and also the solution I posted doesnot work
coz ".." operates only line by line. while IMO, it's much easier
to figure a conditional statement instead of getting a
lookahead/lookbehind regex. You know, it could take long time
to parse your input when backtracking a non-matching string. So
I won't use regex in case I can get an alternative solution.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing. More load on the server,
