）提供的
一个过渡性职位。所谓in residence,就是你挂一个头衔，做一点象征性的事情，但主
要的目的是让
你去准备创业。
这种职位一般是由VC公司或商学院来提供，给他提供一些资源和头衔，让他准备创业，
以达到双赢的目
的。
至于Groupon这种本身就是创业公司的，还提供这样的职位有点奇怪。有可能就是储备
性的管理者，但
这种应该叫做executive in residence更恰当一些。 |

拿了phd之后申了OPT.找了两个月工作无果之后，果断换学校申请了CS master，在
Texas.
马上12月就毕业了。刷了些题，但是还准备还不够充分，也还没开始投简历。
方案1是毕业了先在本地找个college读着维持F1身份。然后申请加州的ITU的summer 16.
(因为spring 15的deadline已经过了。。) 同时这几个月找工作。拿到offer再到ITU直
接以CPT开始工作。这是我能想到的最合理，常规可行的方案。
我搜了一些帖子，发现这个方案也很囧。据说很多公司不能用CPT申请full time
position.因为ITU要求公司以internship为名义。其他学校都是必须工作一年才能拿
CPT.
方案2.我这种情况是否还存在申请OPT的可能性？以前学校网页的说法是明确否定的，
也问过isso的人。Undergraduate, master, phd三个level必须往上走。一个level可以
分别申请一个OPT.一旦phd之后申了OPT,再也不可能获得OPT了。现在学校的网页和
