如果最后来个 elevator pitch 的话，在电算年代对数学教育的反思，从 priming
implicit memory 的角度看，大方向是从 "repetition priming" 向 "perceptual /
conceptual / semantic / associative priming" 的转换过程。当然具体战术上如何
转换，是一门学问。
另外中年妇女对 "repetition priming" 情有独钟也是可以理解的，毕竟 "repetition
priming" 的别名是 "direct priming"，见效最快。所以米兰达宣读一下求心安即可
，因为说了都是白说，elevator pitch 也是球用。

资料给出的数据都是指海拔的绝对上升，实际的行进中，一定会遇到up and down ,up
and down的情况，所以上升和下降的总量还可能远不止hiking资料中给出的数字。
比如给出数字是:1810m-2145m elevation gain 335m，但根据大比例尺等topo
map(contour map)可以看出，或许还有好几个hill需要over and down，实际爬升总量可
能会超过600m。在行动之前大致计算总的爬升高度尽量做到心中有数。
坡度路况饮水：
一般的dayhike行进距离约在20km左右,负重8kg左右，坡度路况可以从topo map上查看。
坡度陡峭的路段集中的trail，对体力和经验是有一定要求的。hiking时身体正在承受超
乎平常的新陈代谢，应该刻意地增加饮水量，清水是最好的选择，含糖的饮料不推荐在运
动中途饮用(因为身体需要付出额外的能量去吸收糖份)，越高温和越高难度的路程，排尿
会越少。大小解要离trail和水源尽可能远的地方就地方便，如果想要“出恭”，要挖坑
并事后掩埋掉-:)

战。shuier和我笑说下一步的目标是跑一次马拉松，走一次Grand Canyon的Rim to Rim.
经过这次提顿黄石冰川的自虐，我们都对自己的体能增加了信心。在此先show off 一

8/27(第一天）开车下午5点左右到达Teton,在一条1.8mile roundtrip的短trail上
hiking了一下。
8/28（第二天）Teton Hurrican Pass Trail, 总计hiking 将近22 mile， elevation
gain 约3600 feet.
8/29,8/30(第三天，第四天）养精蓄锐，在黄石基本没有hiking,总共走了3-5mile左右
的trail.
8/31(第五天）下午到达Glacier NP, 从下午3点40到7点20，用3小时40分走完了
9.6mile 的iceberg lake trail, elevation gain 约1200 feet.
9/1(第六天）走了Grinnel Glacier Trail,全程 |

发帖数: 1347 | 28 星期六我们一行四人于06:00从Boulder出发，前一天我注意到预报里西部山
区少见地不在Tstorm warning区域中，所以时间上将会很充裕。
Trailhead在Fairplay以西十多mi处，我们出发点elevation 11900ft，elevation
gain将近2200ft。我们
队伍中照例inchigh打头阵，我后面是第一次上14er的floracici，压阵的又是
任劳任怨的CO。
trail前一半上可以看到几处废弃的旧矿，后面大致就是在从Mt Sheridan到
Mt Sherman的山脊上。上山脊前trail有几处分叉交错，如果走错可能绕一点远路，
或走错到Mt Sheridan上去。
这个14er的难度比起Mt Bierstdat和Grays Peak来，还要略低一点点；但是
这天带来些麻烦的是较强的西风，一到山脊上风力立刻加强，最大按风级足有
七八级，当正好顺风的时候完全可以借风力上陡坡全不费腿力。我把帽子和手套
装备上，总算可以保持温度。
我到了山顶后，inchigh担心floracici在这样的大风中上不来，就先下去接应。
我过了十多分钟也开始往下走 |

单程：13.35 mile

全长平均坡度在5%左右。这条路被称为之美国top10难骑的路线之一。 单就坡度而言还
没有加州的很多路线陡。也许是难在了它的长度和在高海拔不停的爬升。介绍说山顶氧
气量是sea level 的1/2。也许是在这里呆得时间长了，对我们来讲还没有那么的明显。

下山后可以去boulder 吃饭，喝酒和看风景。听美女介绍说Boulder 有家中餐馆牛筋做的比川味轩还要好吃，仰慕中。
不去爬山的，可以5：00左右到boulder和大家会合。不过来之前最好运动一下，不然和一群刚刚爬了山的人吃饭，估计要吃亏。
关于题目的问题，爬Arapaho Peak是长期计划，所以如果周末大家反应良好，再来续集就是了，就像正式爬珠峰之前参观以下绒布寺，好像也合情理。

某同学拉我周末去插小红旗。这次的山头叫Mt.Massive, 科州第二高峰。比老大Mt.
Elbert矮12英尺，比老三Mt.Harvard仅高1英尺。Mt.Massive是由五个连续的山峰组成
，每个都在14，000ft以上，怪不得叫Massive。
早上4点就把自己从床上拔起来，拎着包迷迷糊糊的出门，谁知一头撞在门沿上，脑门
立马起了个大包。得，这下清醒了：-（
很久没做这么早的鸟啦，车开在黑暗蜿蜒的高速路上，偶尔零星的车灯飘过，心里隐隐

San Juan Mt.位于科州的西南角，据称是科州最人迹罕至但风景最优美的山脉。前年夏
天开车去过一次，从此念念不忘。 说服了爬山伙伴小A，我们决定要into the wild。
本来没打算带小朋友， 无奈找不到合适的babysitter，再加上小朋友死乞白赖，苦苦
哀求。我心想不过是多走一天，或者少爬一个14er，就当路上多带个玩具解闷儿吧。

Day 5 漫长的一天
Johnson Creek trail （9，000ft）-》Columbine Pass (12,500 ft)

Time : 8:30m-7：00pm
大清早起来小朋友情绪不佳，各种whine，我想爸爸和傻妹儿（我家狗狗summer）； 各
种非人类，一步三晃，不肯前行。要知道今天我们得爬三千多尺，走至少9迈，不然就

标 题: 我的爬山历程——从初级菜鸟到中级菜鸟(上)

本人小时候，身轻如燕，奔跑一把好手（据爸爸说我很小的时候可以连续跑1个多小时
不休息的），小学中期以后由于每节课下课玩抓人，得了哮喘，长跑能力直线下降，当
然段跑还是能100分的，大学之后慢慢变成了如今的肥仔，实在是教人唏嘘。。。
虽然是肥仔，就得做些什么证明自己不是窝囊废，爬山或许是其中之一，就像数学一样
是一件nontrivial的事情，也是一件不需要花费很多金钱，也是少数金钱买不来的东西。
从小就去过些地方，但是年代久远，比如新昌，雁荡山，龙虎山，张家界等，虽然有些
也有爬山，但是基本坐索道为主，要爬也不过2-3小时，最多时崎岖的山路，谈不上陡
峭。
去了美国之后，才知道自己在爬山方面是如此的soft，当时连伯克利附近的Tilden
Park都觉得爬上去挺累的，当中都想休息，其实才1.5miles=2.4km, E... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 2672 | 46 Even though Lulu and I attempted summit Ross Mountain, we didn't. We were 0.8 mile, 500 ft away from summit. Total is about 13 miles, close to 5,000 ft elevation gain.
The three peaks are Throop Peak, Mt. Burnham, Baden-Powell, three peaks in a day is not too bad. The three peaks up to Baden-Powell was only 11.5 miles, 2,850 ft elevation gain. I guess that was easy part!

I don't think there are much people on this board interest hikes
over 7000 ft elev gain, so lets stick together, if you do 3T + Baldy, then I'll cancel
mine, but make up your mind. |

发帖数: 2672 | 49 Contact the Havasupai at: 928-448-2141. Pretty difficult, you must reserve
them months advance. The trail is 10 miles one-way, 3,300 ft elevation gain
. Most of elevation gain is within then the first and the last mile, pretty
flat in between and you will be in shade when you do the last mile. |
