培训一下恐怕不行，bill gates这样的人除外。微软phd写代码的那也叫PROGRAMMER.
另外如果engineer从来没有编过程序和现场调试过他不太可能有正确的思路，告诉别人
怎么编，而且engineering consulting公司每个project都不太一样，我怀疑你们这些
programmer能否写出一个合理的PID回路来。如果要engineer来花大量的时间解释给他
们怎么做为什么这么做那engineer自己就写好了，这些和要实现的功能不可分割的。
有一个例外是做design consulting的公司（就像国内的设计院）里的control systems
engineer是不要编程的，他们只负责写specification，然后由engineering
consulting的人按照SPEC去实现。但是那些design的engineer都是原来做过多年现场编
程调试，非常有经验，然后转去设计，否则他设计的东西一点不make sense，恐怕很快
要卷铺盖走人了。

scientist的好处：
（1）听起来好听，和别人说起来有面子。这个不完全是虚的，因为跳槽的时候
recruiter可能就看中这个。
（2）scientist做的工作多半是和paper以及patent有关，可以写进自己的简历。不像
engineer，离开了东家，挥一挥云彩，不能带走任何产品，没有多少可以写进简历的东
西。
（3）可能工作的自由度要大些。
engineer的好处：
（1）发展空间大，升职快。虽然不同公司对于scientist的重视程度不一样，但是说白
了公司都是短视而且利益驱动的，所以scientist注定被边缘化，而engineer才是公司
的主力。
（2）如果裁员，scientist要先于engineer。
（3）跳槽的时候，engineer比scientist选择余地大。但实际怎么样还要看具体情况。
公司scientist的性质，有点像faculty和engineer的中和。但是它没有faculty的稳定
，也没有engineer来钱快，所以这种中和到底是好是坏，还真的很难说。 |

不过不同的公司performance engineer的organization不一样，有的在qa组，有的是独
立的组，有的是项目组，给一些人留下了想象和marketing的空间。
但performance engineer的一个重要职责是采集和分析数据。采集数据的时候，你必须
要在production的环境下进行，不能上debugger，要排除一切可能的外部干扰，这样你
的数据才有意义，实验才有可重复性，才能以后用同样的实验来verify performance
bug fix。这个过程基本消耗了一个performance engineer大部分的时间，项目紧的话
就没有多余时间干别的了。
我想你可能不是developer. 你以为developer就不用做performance方面的工作了？架
构师在架构产品的时候已经考虑了performance的因素。好的程序员写代码的时候也会

本人PHD，现在手头有两个选择, 都是power management IC 公司，location都一样。
一个是application engineer职位，作为IC design，customer和field application
engineer的中间接口，需要开发产品解决方案，编写application notes,常有出差，工
作比较忙，deadline比较紧。另一个是system engineer, 更加偏向于新产品早期研发
和产品架构定义，技术性更强些，相对application engineer较轻松，没有很紧的
deadline束缚，技术发挥空间也大些。
本人对工作性质没有特殊倾向，觉得两者都各有各的好。一方面觉得application
engineer更加接近市场和客户，将来选择面可能更宽。另一方面觉得system engineer
可以做比较前沿的技术，在技术上更有提升空间。所以现在主要希望从将来职业发展和
上升空间角度来考虑从而做出选择。恳请业内人士，过来人，大牛们不吝指点！万分感

ENGINE要想正常运行,汽油混合比必需在一定范围内,8:1到18:1都可以
使ENGINE燃烧,但准确的燃烧比是14.7:1,也就是说如果你的混合比
RICH,就会有多余的油没充份燃烧,如果LEAN,就会有多余的空气.
如果空气过多ENGINE就不能正常燃烧.如果你的管子破了,自然
酒会有多的空气漏入,使得混合比超过一定的值,在IDLE时的
ENGINE转速是设定好的,所以当混合比偏LEAN时,ENGINE就无法正常
燃烧,导致死火.但当车子跑起来是可以通过增加进油量来弥补.
不要用胶带对付,如果吸入尘土就会对ENGINE造成损害,这就是
为什么要有AIR FILTER.我真不敢相信DEALER能用这种办法修车!! |

发帖数: 64 | 50 今天天气晴朗，气温回升，吃了午饭赶紧出工，从1点半到4点，换掉了rear engine
mount。过程还算正常，除了拆下suspension cross member是费了浑身的劲,4个153的螺
丝，好像从来没有拆过一样，我坐在地上双脚抵住ramp,双手抓住24“break bar，用划船
式的动作，臂肩背腰腿一起发力，才嘎嘣嘎嘣的拧开了，事实证明这几个螺丝里面锈的都
长毛了，呵呵。后来由于宁掉rear engine
mount上的螺丝后空间不够取不出mount,又把engine center mount member卸掉一头用手
往下一掰，才取出了旧的换了新的。虽然我有ramp，工作空间仍然是捉襟见肘，比如车底
下24"break bar就不太好使,好在还有14"的break
bar，这会派上了用场。总结说来，换engine mount是可以拆掉suspension cross
member和engine mount center member的，我的车一共有5个mount，三个（前，左，右）
是将engine直接固定在车体上的，只有rear和center mount固定在eng |
