不过根据Applying for a Temporary Resident Visa guide：
A single entry visa allows you to enter Canada only once. This visa may also
be used for repeated entries into Canada from the USA or St. Pierre and
Miquelon provided you do not enter another country. Such entries must occur
within the time validated for your stay in Canada. For example, you may be
given six months from the date you enter Canada at the port of entry.

发帖数: 616 | 11 刚开始申请的时候，面试要等一个月。后来收到email说有空缺，两天后就可以面试。
面试基本没什么问题。主要就是取指模和拍照。过几天收到卡。由于是 federal ID，
可以坐飞机用。如果不开车，就不用另外再带 driver's license 了。
这次去中国是从 DFW 走。有专门的 TSA Pre 通道，Global Entry 持有者可以用，不
用脱鞋、不用脱外套、电脑不需要从包里拿出来。
回美国的时候是 LAX。Global Entry 过 Immigration 是全自助式，很快，不用排长队。
过了 Immigration 后，取行李，然后过海关。过海关也有 Global Entry 专用道。开
始不知道，被忽悠走普通通道，后来才醒悟。Global Entry 通道不仅快，而好像海关
不检查（反正我没看到抽检的）。
但在 LAX 转 US Domestic 飞机的时候，在 terminal 8 的安检没有 TSA Pre 通道，
结果还是与普罗大众一齐排队，也不能享受特殊待遇。
如果一行几人，则需要每个人都有 Global Entry 才有意义。否则拉下一个，所有人都

hardwood floor可以重新finish，但是只有一个车库。区里都是50年代rambler。我和
老公觉得rambler比split entry更能hold value一些，和美国朋友聊天，很多人不喜欢
split entry。这个步行15分钟到海边的golf course，步行15分钟到trader joes为中
心的一个小商业区。
另外一个是，70年代的split entry，楼上3间，楼下一间卧室。下边那层，几乎是完全
地上的，所以也没有split entry那种一层阴暗潮湿的感觉。二层的floor plan也很好
，非常open，当然不如rambler显大了。2个车库，屋顶需要换换了，而且院子里两颗参
天松树，有些碍眼。这个步行5分钟到同一个golf course，区里都是split entry。
打算先和lg进攻那个rambler，但是那个split entry的有四件卧室，两个车库。唉，真
是纠结，所以想听听大家怎么说。另外rambler是某公司的投资房，去年低价买的， |

advance parole翻译成回美证而把re-entry permit翻译成重新入境许可；还有的把re-

when the last two tables merge to final table, those with two entries left
will merge and get a huge stack while single entry big stack may become
relatively "short stack". With possibly tens of entries (or even more) in a
tourney, it is like you can do "unlimited rebuy" no matter how large your
stack is. single entry here is worse than going into a rebuy game with
single bullet. |

什么不办个multiple entries呢?这样方便很多，有效期又长。我以前总办single

。multiple entry自然可以离境之后再次入境。
之所以加拿大的single entry很多人有问题，是因为关于“离境”的定义加拿大有特殊
规定。你从加拿大进入美国，如果没去别的国家，加拿大并不认为这是“离境”，所以
你再次从美国返回加拿大时，并不算“离境后的第二次入境”。
其实申根签证也有类似之处。single entry的申根签证也使离境后不能再次入境。但是
只要你没有离开申根区，就不算“离境”。 |

1.5门不算多，entry level考5门我是没有听说过over qualify.可能会拿这个理由拒你
，但这往往不是真正拒你的原因。以前公司来我原来学校招人的vp说你现在考几门都不
算多（我当时4门），前段时间刚刚面试了几个同学，也都是5门，4门考试。再说国人
communication,身份都是劣势，不多考及门显示你实力，凭啥招你啊。
2.location对entry level超重要.反正我们公司基本不会面非local entry level
candidate,费时费力，别人还不一定来。而且entry level本来水平也差不太多。最好
去保险公司多的地方招。
3.PHD还是有优势的，我最近也面了个phd,虽然才考了2门，不过大家都觉得他既然是
phd,就觉得technique没有什么问题，不会的东西学一下肯定也快，面试就是面的
behavior,然后水过了。主要要让convince别人你想成为精算师。 |

了啊？
比如海归1年，2年，3年，以此类推.... 然后回米国的时候直接用Global Entry机器
通关，不用跟海关废话。
既然没有海关问话这一步，那是不是就可以随便自己想在国内呆多久都可以了，想回米
国的时候就用Global Entry回来。这个看来是比回美纸还好用的东西啊。可以既在国内
