最近拿到Penn State U的Postdoc Offer, 老板给H1b. 本人南大土博. 本硕博都是不同
的学校, 也不是同一个专业.
小秘提交申请之后, 到了International Scholar Office, 需要我提交一堆材料. 其中
包含Copy of degree translation & equivalency evaluation for all degrees
issued from outside of the U.S.这一项. 并给出了5个agencies. 几乎全部都需要提
交初中开始的毕业证件和成绩单(无语,谁会有这些). 想问下有经验的朋友, 是否可以
只提交PhD的evaluation? 是否必须使用学校推荐的agency?
另外, 如果老婆随行的话, 是否需要提供结婚证的翻译?

我觉得这非常让我不舒服，也不自在，很迷茫。
因为工作不知道自己的方向和位置。
于是我找老板，问可不可以给evaluation.他说，他没有正式的，通常是在年末。如果

我不明白这是什么意思。因为其他同事在年末都有的。

US University, currently working in one top Research center as a contractor.
I have 7 papers (3 english + 4 Chinese), 10 Chinese citations (from CNKI),
no English, one issues Patent (in China).
12 reviews for 4 jounals.
How about your evaluation on NIW application?

正准备降级材料，律师要了本科学位证和成绩单，给了申请学校时的，中英文都有，也
有学校的公章什么的。律师问有没有credential evaluation, 说有这边的post
graduate学位可能没问题，但是CIS如果要可能会耽误时间。请问大家降级本科学位有
没有做credential evaluation?会不会因为这个来个RFE?

original evaluation document。到底是每个州不一样还是大家都交了evaluation的原

，几乎没听说过有人重新寄一份的。如果你觉得第一家不行，等比较了第二家之后再寄
给board吧。
2. 你得先看看你们州批准哪些评估机构。
3. 一般有经验的评估机构都会比较客观的判断哪些课是accounting和business类的；
Board既然有一个信任的evaluation机构名单，就比较依靠它们了。 |

发帖数: 30 | 35 Evaluation 不需毕业证， 只需你的成绩单(一般成绩单上会指明你己毕业)。如果你的
成续单是有英文那不用翻译。但成续单必需是学校直接寄或是封好且上面有学校的印章
才行。你在美国读什么专业？如果学分够的话就不用再寄国内的材料了。
EVALUATION过后你就可以交钱考试了，不需再寄任何材料给AICPA了。

I called Virginia Board. But they just gave me ambiguous answer. They said
that they don't require the transcript specially evaluated for CPA, but
also cannot decide whether or not my transcript works until they review
it.

Since we are in different Board, I can not give you for sure suggestion.
CA Board said, the evaluated transcript need to be send directly from the
agencies. Officially sealed.
I did not use my old evaluated agencies which one I used for school
application. Just my personal experience.

Analysis:
1.They require a syllabus or other type of course description. But I cannot
find these for my chinese BA degree.I only have english trasctrpt.
2.They also require "secondary school" diploma,transcript...I only have
these from my college records.
Does everybody have to submit these two above when they do the ECE Subject
Analysis evaluation?

发帖数: 94 | 44 我们firm每年的evaluation是在6月底，评估上一年七月到今年六月的表现，再由
partner们一个接一个的面对面谈话。明天下午就轮到我被叫去谈话了，现在越想越愁。
今天填了self evaluation form, 发现去年设的目标一个也没完成。全年的billable
hours 只有1300不到，而定的目标是1700。realization降到了81%， 目标是90%。 哎
，愁死了，我tax season还干的特别辛苦，天天都上班，才攒出了800个billable
hours.除去tax season的八个多月，我才攒了不到500个billable hours，因为确实是
没活干。可是这不是我的错啊。
这些目标都是管我的那个tax parter制定的。这人是个女魔头，本来我自己制定的
billable hour goal是1300，可是她偏偏要改成1700，report上显示firm里唯一只有做
audit的一个staff攒够了1500 hours，还是因为audit department有人在1月份离开了

业了。想趁暑假考掉CPA的一门。
我在Michigan，考试资格要求是24个semester hours会计课，24个semester hours
general business课。我的会计课已经够了，business课在学校一共就读了三门，所以
才9个学分。现在我必须用我本科的成绩单，里面有一些business的课。考试报名中心
要求对foreign的成绩单先到制定机构去做evaluation，相当于公证。
刚刚在那些公证机构看了一下，有如下几种公证report：
Evaluation Report Fees:
General Report: $75.00
Detailed Report: $125.00
Subject Analysis Report: $150.00
Catalog Match Report: $200.00
Accounting Subject Analysis Report $150.00
比较迷惑的是，

1. 文章，35篇，8篇一作，其余为合作文章。另有2篇一作在审稿。一作中无CNS，但有
PRL/JACS级别2-4篇(IF>10 的3篇，>8 的5篇，>5的7篇)。
总共文章中有两篇CNS子刊（都是第四作者）
2. 引用，一作被引200次左右，他引大概180次吧（有一篇单篇被引110次），全部文章
被引1400次左右，H因子18.
