Honestly, I think they made out these annual lists for the parents who
want to pick out a school for their children ( the 2003 list is out there
already), so that the circulation could be improved -- it doesn't make
sense to evalutate a school every year.
national research council (NCR) also published a report on research/doctorate
programs in 1995, which says Yale's computer science PHD program is 20.

1. 看牙保险给报销么?
参见具体policy。健康保险如无明文提到exception，一般可以认为不报。看病之
前，自学一下保险手册的关键条款（有生命危险或疼得天昏地暗者除外）。
2. 看牙咋省钱？
有保险的考虑适当拖延。到下一年可以用新报销额度。
自费买dental insurance：一般premium几百/年，一年最多报销两千，外加
waiting period，所以不一定合算。临时报佛脚的情况就不要考虑了。
dental discount plan：在参加计划的诊所可以立刻打折。比如Aetna Advantage
Dental。
收入确实低的，在本地找免费或low cost诊所。这些地方可能有eligibility要求
，很多只提供有限服务。
去附近的dental school clinic，给学生做小白鼠。

Solution: Delete at least 100k posts or half of the total.
Issue 2: The time required to delete 100k posts is TOO long for CWH or other

steepness and roughly, feet per acre.
Considering vertical drop per area, Jackson Hole's overall steepness is hard
to compete in USA. Of caurse, Snowbird are among them with about 20% less
vertical drop in the same 2500 acres. The Chutes in your home resort(may i
call it this way?:) offers 1500ft in 200 acres, which makes it tahoe's most
challenging slope.

买的人自己心里有数就好了. I've repeated this, it really depends on how they
made choice. this has nothign to do with 经济状况和消费观念.
任何经济状况都有对status/icon的evalution. 如果对这个evaluate 得过高了， 就是
肤浅， 你已经同意了。
肤浅的选择造成浪费
所以不如捐出去。

female and male PI in manipulating my post-doc application.
In general, males are flexible and practical---they will consider your
application if they think you are worth using. On the contrast, females have

PKU大三,ECON,GPA:3.7/4.0(主要是英语课和政治课不好,专业课倒还不错)
MINOR:applied math,GPA:3.2/4.0
课程:数学分析,概论论,数理统计,常微分方程,近世代数,高等代数,实分析
(第一个学期完全没有方法,概率论考了70,伤心死了,下学期力挽狂澜)
GRE,GMAT,TOEFL还没考,红宝已经过了4遍了,打算下学期一起搞好,这样感觉学英语的效
率会高点.
RA:跟两个老师做过,一个是UCLA毕业的,主要是做econometrics的,program evalution
一个是UC Davis的,做国际贸易的.跟金融差的比较远还,但是PKU里实在是没什么做金融
的而且有海归背景的牛人.大部分跟金融相关的基本全是宏观经济学,跟真正意义的金融
差得太远了.
如果能发PAPER的话,也只能做一些econ econometrics实证研究的文章, 不知道学金融看不看
重这些
本来也没想做学术,前两年一直在搞其他的活动.但是由于给第一个老师做了RA之后,对
PAPER,还有本来不喜欢的数学产生了浓厚的兴趣,觉得真的是很有意思.我是真心 |

我看到以前考PE的人（本公司的），老印还报了什么复习班，那可不便宜啊。无意看到
复习资料里面放着receipt和报销单。
我问我的头儿，PE考试报什么，结果头儿说什么credential evalution之类的统统不报
，考试资料都是自费，头儿说这是self-study，然后考试车费旅费一律不算。其实，我
还真不差这点钱，平时搞点deal比这个多多了，但是老板拿着说话的语气实在让人失望

For the most part, I used Kaphalan book plus Cliff's review book. Kaphalan
is in a more detail pattern.
Break down to individual section:
Verbal: use GRE book to study, it did not have as many trick as GRE, but
amount of verbal is similar.
Biology: Kaphalan book is way to much detail, cliffs review book is alright
