I doubt you can live that long to see the end of RMB, hehe.
Most likely, LZ is talking about short-term investment like 3-5 years. Then
the scenario might be much more different. Same as when people are talking
about housing price, any bubble will eventually break, no rising price
forever and it will eventually go down, blablabla... True, but meaningless
to investment. What you got to think about is where you are standing right

I just read a little about it. It's definitely a brilliant invention and
worth some discussion.
I don't think it will eventually prevail as a currency since:
1) Security is always an issue. Even though the algorithm and transaction
sequence are kept in every node and cross-checked at any moment, as long as
they can be updated, it's certainly possible and eventually inevitable that
a malicious version will take over the entire network.
2) I don't see the proof that this "bitcoin" system is unique... 阅读全帖

I said I have no idea where USD will go in 2011 or early 2012.
For this kind of short term, I am neither bullish nor bearish,
I simply don't know, especially when the US debt limit issue
is still hanging there. For sure, US won't default. However,
by how much they eventually raise the debt limit will have a
huge impact on where USD will go in August and thereafter.
I am bearish for USD in long-term --- in a time frame of 10 years.

In option 1, the tax is saved when I contribute the money. By paying the
bill from HSA now, I make sure the tax saving is indeed realized, without
the possibility that the HSA eventually ended up only as a tax deferred
account during retirement if I'm quite healthy or if tax rules change.
Eventually paying income tax for HSA is a risk I see.
For a savvy investor who knows taking advantage of the possibly tax free
growth in HSA, even he/she pays the bill from a cash account I would say we
