Hillsborough的杜克农场（Duke Farms）建于1893年，一度是代表杜克家族传奇的
Doris Duke奢华庄园，经过改造后，摇身一变生机勃勃的绿色生态农场。这座庄园曾经
的十一个各具特色的精致小花园（意大利式、日本式等）已经废弃，不过保留了一个温
室兰花馆（Orchid Range），虽然规模已不复从前，但在这里展示的仍然是世上少见的
珍品，也使这里成为最吸引游客的景点之一。
游客中心（Orientation Center）曾经是一座谷仓，如今已经变成导览游客的起点和环
保教育中心。

这个地址实际上是农场的中心，农场的集市（图中右下角），这个集市里卖的烤玉米超
好吃。
捡桃子的地方其实不到集市，你从西边开过来，你会看到路左边有个牌子说什么“Pick
your own peach”啥的。在这个牌子向左拐上一条土路（图中蓝色道路），一直开到
图中绿色环处，这里有个拖车，顾客在这里称桃子，也有人卖爆米花什么的。
从绿色圆环处向左拐，大约五棵桃树之后再左转进桃树林，现在你面对的是一大片黄桃
树林。你要想前走两百多米才能看到白桃树林。
不知道为什么，似乎大多数人并不知道白桃树林在深处，我们朋友和我们说老板不喜欢
别人去摘白桃。我们也捡了四五个黄桃，算是给他点面子。 |
