Moving slowly and intently along the shoreline, we carefully scanned the
illuminated bottom and watched all of the marine life scurrying around. As
hundreds of small crabs, shrimp and finfish darted from the spartina grass

I am using crankbait for bass, and think that lighter line will cast farther
and cover more water, and more sensitive. But after setting the hook,
things will become more challenging for thin lines, I think.
For walleye, I intend to use 1/4 or 3/8 oz jig for the water here. What line
should I use?
Thanks again. |

W*******s 发帖数: 18705 | 5 10-12LB is the right size for crankbait. But, people use 15LB-17LB line for
square lip shallow crankbait in nasty cover. The diving depth is not
important in such case. We don't have walleye resource here so I can't tell
much about walleye fishing. 1/4 and 3/8 jig head use 8-12LB. I repeat,
there are many variations and elements to determine the optimum line size.
