还记得《小李飞刀》里的阿飞么？他没有剑招，出剑的秘诀就在于－－快。
小李飞刀也在于快，快得连上官金虹都没办法躲过。
傅红雪也在于快，看见他刀光的人都已经不在人世了。。。。。
可见，快确实威力无比。棒球里Pitcher们的第一种武器就是快球。
快球有多快呢？90麦/小时以上。等一下，我拿个计算器。
一麦是1.6公里。一小时是3600秒。所以90麦/小时相当于40米/秒。
从投手丘的最高点到本垒板，距离是18.44米。（没错吧？）
那么，如果你是个击球手，快球从Pitchers出手到你面前，只需要0.46秒。
0.46秒是什么概念？
大概就是快速地眨一下眼的功夫。真是电光火闪一般。
所以，千万不要嘲笑那些被快球三振出局的击球手们。
因为在MLB里，面对那些魔鬼般的Pitcher们扔过来的子弹般的快球，
要击中一次实在是件很了不起的事。
这也是为啥Barry Bonds强调的眼和手的协调性之重要了。
快球作为棒球里历史最悠久的球路，在无数能人志士手里发展出了很多很多种变化。
最常见的是两种：4-seam fastball和2-seam fastball。 |

今天谈谈几种球路。个人就经常搞混老美口中的这些棒球名词，也见
到其它不同的说法和翻译。
根据看了一个下午BBS心得作个学习笔记/毕竟没有实战的经历，纯粹
纸上谈兵，不免饴笑大方，老鸟们就包涵则个。
投手的球路控制主要是靠三点：球速、球路轨迹变化、配速。
相应的三种不同用途的球路类型有fastball, breaking ball, and
offspeed，个人觉得这一般是约定俗成的讲法/还不能成为正式定义
的名词巴。
fastball通常就是指快速直球，但也不是绝对的直球，很多fastball
是非常有尾劲的，例如sinker/sink fastball, cutter/cut

据说他95mile的sinking fastball很难打，因为sinking fastball有强烈的下旋，所以
像个保龄球一样滚过来一样，打击一碰球就弹地，全是DP和infield 的球，所以打击很
头疼。而且sinking fastball很难投到95，一般就89，90左右。
而且他投球动作很顺很smooth，不太像会受伤的那种，所以真的很可惜。
投手是最重要的，防守其次。 |

嗯，耶鲁的教授把这个问题解释清楚花了叁章，要简单的说明真不
容易。
基本上快速球投出的时候，旋转的方向由叁垒方向看过来为逆时钟
方向。two-seam fastball与four-seam fastball的差异在握球时，
在旋转的圆周上绕过两道缝线或是四道缝线的差异。如果拿颗棒球来
看，这两种握球的角度在球体上约相差九十度。

发帖数: 667 | 9 splitter基本上应该算fastball啦。fastball还包括shoot ball，这个是
日本人的叫法，球的路线很诡异，右投对右打时是往内角里钻
变化球中还有一个著名的是screwball螺丝球，是左投用来对付右打的利
器，它的飞行轨迹正好和曲球相反，左投投出是往右打的外角飞。不过
这种投法非常伤手，现在已经很少人用了，不用的另外一个原因是sinker
的发明。sinker的轨迹很象screwball，不过不同的是sinker的速度快，
相应的变化幅度小一些。
美国人把fastball分为two-seamer和four-seamer。区别是手指和缝线的
相对位置。two-seamer的球速慢一些，但有尾劲，相反four-seamer的
球速快，但轨迹缺乏变化。
还有一种球路叫knuckleball，就是蝴蝶球，球速最慢，球出手后不旋转，
因此在气流扰动的影响下会显得非常飘，打手很难打中。不过对捕手也

陳偉殷大概還剩兩場先發，我想金鶯教練團，除非必要，應該不會再讓他投一休四了。
因為當今天陳偉殷在第六局，用12球三振掉桑德斯（Michael Saunders）之後，他的肢
體語言，很明顯看得出來他已經累了。
要說明一點：大聯盟的馬拉松球季，不只是比賽密集，投一休四等等... 還包括客場移
動（即使是坐飛機）的舟車勞頓，一向都是沒有體驗過這種生活的年輕選手，以及年紀
大的球員的最大考驗！所以當老球員退休後，你常常聽到他們會說，他們最不會懷念的
，就是飛來飛去的大聯盟生活。

weak ground ball to shortstop for the first out of the season.
matui batted 2nd and worked patiently to a 3-1 count.
zambrano decided to challenge him with a fastball down the middle,
which matui ripped hard to the gap for a standup double.

什么是人生成功的最重要因素？是机遇。
在球场上，对于击球手也是一样。
只不过不叫机遇罢了，而叫timing。
如果说人生机遇是可遇而不可求的，
那么这个击球的timing就很具有主观能动性。
好的击球手，能做到球到－棒到－力道也要到。所谓三到。
那pitcher同志们就不能让你这么舒服了，会想方设法破坏你对timing的判断。
这就要依靠一个字，那就是－－－"骗"。
骗的手法有很多种。这里讲的是Changeup。也就是本系列的第二种武器。
这种球的握法初看上去和上回讲的fastball是一摸一样的。
但仔细一看，却有不同。
fastball是食指和中指卡住球的上方，握得非常浅（我上回也特别强调这个"浅"字）。
而Changeup是中指、无名指和小指覆盖住球，握得很深。另外，食指盖住大拇指
形成一个小环。
扔的时候，Pitcher把作用力用在在球的中心部位（扔快球时是用力在非中心
部位）。其他方面都和快球完全一样。
但效果是：Changeup能比快球慢上10麦/小时。（速度大概是80麦/小时）
对于打击手而言，从pitcher的肩部、腕部和球的转动而言， |

这世界上什么最美？曲线最美。
学素描的人，第一堂课就是要画曲线，画各种各样的曲线。
熟练的画师，拿支铅笔在白纸上随手一画，就是条动人的曲线。
在棒球运动里，pitcher同学们也用各种各样的curveball，划出优美的曲线。
在我们讲第一种武器-fastball-的时候，我们知道快球在飞行的过程中，
是从上往下旋转的。（这样magnus force能够往上"托"球，使球的飞行线路相对较直）
而曲球则完全相反－－它是从下往上转的。
在投曲球时，拿球的基本动作以及投球的启动动作和fastball非常类似。
只是在快出手的时候，手腕翻转，使大拇指在上方，食指和中指在下方然后用力一拨，
于是出手时，球就是从下往上快速旋转的。
这样，球在飞行时，就受到两个向下的力－－地心引力和magnus力。
于是下坠幅度较大。（注：关于magnus力，参加本系列第一篇《让我们聊聊物理》）
曲球的球速比快球慢11-15麦/小时左右。
曲球的作用是：
1。常扰乱batters的视线，让对方以为是快速直球被迷惑。于是常常挥棒落空。

If the pitcher seems aggressive, attacking the strike zone, you have
to swing at the 1st pitch, because it might be the best fastball
you are gonna see for the whole At Bat.
It is not a good idea if you are always going to let the 1st pitch go.

sox对indians的时候，scouts汇报说upton打fastball总要慢半秒，结果没想到那天刮
大风，beckett的一个fastball就被homer了，把beckett气疯了。
crawford下来说，pap的那几个球看起来特deceiving，他以为是好球，结果挥棒的时候
才发现高了。。。说他们以后会记住。。 哈哈 |

outcome of yesterday's game. He recorded 10 outs. Out of 10, 9 were
strikeouts. His fastball had an average speed of 89 mph. Not great, but not
bad either. It must be that his fastballs did not have movements and he
failed to locate. That suggests his mechanics weas not right.

移动也变差。他这种power sinker, if the ball does not explode at the plate,
he will be hit hard.
What's worse is that his slider is flat. His slider has never been great.
But it looked like a fastball and is slower. When he had that power sinker,
a slider can create strikeout due to the speed difference, like changeup
pitchers do with changeups. A flat slider + slower fastball, however, is a
very bad combination.

Last two years his fastball dropped below 88, which is OK. But at the same
time the sinking motion for whatever reason was gone.
He's not like Greg Maddux. I am sure if Maddux wanted, he could pitch into
his 60s and still get people out. I do hope that he could find his mechanics
back. He now really needs to paint the corners. |

据Kevin Millar爆料，Ryan Dempster原先只在投slider之前做那个拧手套的动作，当
时的队友Millar建议他要是改不掉就干脆每个球都拧，于是就这样了。
另据Millar，Buccholz投出no hitter的时候他是对手打线一员，说那场是金莺
scouting失误，没有报告Buccholz有一手轨迹很直很像fastball的changeup |

was a 16:4 blown-out by the Braves. After the game, Rose blasted Braves

I kinda agree with him. Under those circumstances, Braves should have only

not have power but when he controls well he fans out batters.
Just no run support. What a pity that he can not get a win with such

he leads the major league in tough saves(6 tough saves, 13 saves for more than
3 outs, comparison: Hoffman with zero tough save). This is really something
special.
Second, BK can throw at least three pitches. A fastball, a cutter and a
slider. This is enough for a starter. RJ and CS normally only throw 2 pitches. |

开始看他狂飙快球我还有点替他担心，不过他的control确实没得说，
fastball, breaking ball, changeup,。。。看得我目瞪口呆
Zambrano其实也不错了，可惜面对Lowell犯了个错误，另外这个人有点
过于情绪化了。
这个系列打到现在，Cubs的打线算是超常发挥了，另外他们的运气也好一点，
不过Marlins很有韧性，如果他们的先发投手能挺住，大翻盘也不是没有可能。

有另一个呢，而且他们似乎很善于在Wrighly Field打往家跑。

这种CHANGEUP说白了就是在出球刹那手指摩擦使球上旋飞离,
一般人中指无名指指肚摩擦就足够,也会达到尾旋的效果.
但是,CHANGEUP要诀是SPEED,在HITTER眼中看上去和FASTBALL一样的出球DELIVERY,
速度要慢得越多越好.
大联盟投手可以练到用中指无名指的第二指节发力摩擦出球,而不是指肚,
这样的球速更慢.
你们拿个球比划比划就明白了.
小联盟的还达不到这一点.

He is OK guys although the swing definitely improvement.
our 3 catcher last year really bring some offense though defensively just
average.
the new bullpen guys coming in are really good. but david weathers is the
cincy guys couple of years ago. not a new guy bring in. hoho
with a small park we have, it's really difficult to keep the ball in the
park.
that's why the groundout guy Arroyo can survive and fastball guys won't .

发帖数: 1018 | 47 前几轮的基本原则是先抢传统上power and BA比较弱的内野位置，ss, c, and 2b, 我多
一个别人就少一个，of and 1b 普遍火力强，厚度比较好，决定赌博一下后几轮再挑。
第一轮：chase Utley, 其实是想抢一条的，被人接护了。
第二轮：joe mauer, 打击率象去年那么高不现实，.300还是有希望的。
第三轮：michael young, 希望hank blalock能够苏醒过来，游骑兵需要得很多份才能在
alw出头。其实是想抢jermin dye或者vernon wells, 早早的就是别人的baby了。
第四轮：jered weaver, fastball/changup pitcher,属于我比较喜欢的类型，希望没
搞错。
第五轮：adam dunn, 其实很不愿意选他，BA 太低，SO无数（>160!!!!）,问题是后面的
thome, chipper jones, todd helton都在走下坡路，dunn好歹还有3-40个longball, r
eds的主场是mlb数得着的hitter's park.
