《Salute》甫一出街，即在港岛街知巷闻，成为一张叫好又叫座的翻唱专辑，亦成为香
港流行乐史上翻唱类大碟难以逾越的高峰，与其同时或近期的，先后有阿伦和阿梅的翻
唱专辑，今日已经无多少人再提起就是最佳明证，直至若乾年后，方有了诸如关淑怡的
《Favourite Tribute》，王菲的《菲靡靡之音》，黄耀明的《人山人海》等翻唱专辑，
但能望其项背者，未见。
翻唱专辑，竟成传世经典？原因何在，这之后争论频仍，记得旧年网络上颇有影响力的
新浪锦瑟论坛曾经做过一个百佳选举，引得当日荣迷伦迷唇枪舌剑的盛况重现，但最终
，《Salute》高踞百佳之首，真是羡煞旁人。
大碟选歌十首，取“十全十美”之意，亦是哥哥生前一向的习惯，正如哥哥在大碟封套
中写下的一句“珠玉在前”，翻唱之难，难在唱出新风格，能不过不失已经是万幸，但
这张大碟，奇就奇在首首都用张国荣式的演绎诠释出新的经典，甚至从某种程度上超越
原唱，比如《童年时》就是最佳例子。
《Salute》之所以成为经典，究其原因，首先是一句“尽心”，用心演绎，与今日蜂拥

of the Valley of the Wind）片名相似，对至高之爱的强烈歌颂也相似；看的时候都
很感动，但不知怎么两三天后都记不清情节了。《风之谷》里的女孩舍生救小王虫、用
爱化解一切仇恨等场景令人心弦相应，强烈感染，但情节的发展和推进似乎不是很有必
然性，关联似乎松弛。《天空之城》的故事性好像更弱，模糊而不实在，叙事完全淹没
在强大的爱的精神力量之下。看完虽然激动，却无从写起；影片已完全说尽。
有些零碎的感想片段：片中横行天下的空中海盗一家，与宫崎骏的另一动画人物“红猪
”相似，翱翔蓝天的人都有自由不羁的灵魂。空中城堡也像美国动画片《Up》里的空中
瀑布，都是前人遗下的照片里的世外仙境。天空之城是爱的理想王国，环绕着鲜花、音
乐和透明无阻隔的墙壁。女孩和男孩找到天空之城时躺在开满鲜花的草地上开怀大笑，
让我想起以前写和Karoun灌水无间，如躺在草地上仰望蓝天的两小无猜。公主女孩拥有
的通往城堡的指路宝石是美德（virtue）的外化，让人有这样的联想：冥冥之中有一种

所谓引用致敬，古代大概就叫用典，其实是很有意思很有趣味的事儿。不过很多时候引
用致敬和抄袭之间确实不一定有一条fine line。像即使是朴树原版的《那些花儿》，
作为灵感来源的pete seeger原作若非那么出名，还就真不好说了。
另外像学术文章引用都是要严格指明的。但是艺术作品就不一定了。将引用部分自然的
融入作品，本身就是一种艺术情趣。浅白的说，比如熟悉被引用的对象的人看到巧妙引
用的作品，也会感到亲切和有趣。
当然了，我也是认为，这种暗引尽量不要只单独，要不难免会瓜田李下。我的意思就是
说要引用就把引用对象和这个引用对象的来源都包含进来。这样比较稳妥，不容易造成
误会。
说几个音乐上的例子。不包括hiphop之类的sample手段。
一种是引用歌词，同时直接点名原作。这就相当于是直接告诉你这段词是引用了。比如
“妈妈教我一支歌，没有共产党就没有新中国”，或者“午夜里的旋律一直重复著那首
歌 Will you still love me tomorrow”

2014 看过的书：
1）直捣蜂窝的女孩（千禧年三部曲之三）by 拉森 （瑞典) - 觉得一般，这个三部曲
over-rated了。
2）没有色彩的多崎作和他的巡礼之年 by 村上春树 (日本) - 村上的书横看竖看都还
是好看的。
3）查泰莱夫人的情人by D·H·勞倫斯 （英国）- 曾经想写篇查泰莱夫人的情人和金
瓶梅的比较，拖延症一犯，计划就搁浅了。
4）变形记 by 卡夫卡 （捷克）- 2014看过最好的小说。
5) 凭一张地图 by 余光中（台湾）- 一般不爱看散文，余光中的能看的下去。
6）白鹿原 by 陈忠实 （中国）- 很多人说是当代最好的小说，我觉得这部小说其实有
一些问题。。。这下怕要被拍死了。
7）许三观卖血记 by 余华 （中国）- 好看，喜欢余华的文字和技巧。
8）五魁 by 贾平凹 （中国）- 这短篇挺让我惊讶的，对贾平凹起了好奇心。
9，10，11）嫌疑人X的献身，白夜行，恶意 by 东野圭吾 （日本）- 伟大的爱情或是
黑暗扭曲的人性，写的很精彩，不过都是比较极端的故事，看多了会想要休息一阵。

It was the famous photojournalist Robert Capa who once said "If your
photographs aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” He was talking
about getting in amongst the action. If you feel like your images aren’t ‘
popping’, take a step or two closer to your subject. Fill the frame with
your subject and see how much better your photo will look without so much
wasted space. The closer you are to the subject, the better you can see
their facial expressions too.
