我跟系里的一个senior faculty member提到了这个事情和这个学生。
但是当时这个faculty member说我要小心一点，因为他跟这个学生的experience不是很
好。
在这样的情况下，我不是太想一开始就support这个学生RA.
想至少跟他工作一段看看怎么样。
这样，是不是值得跟系头说一下看看可不可以support 他TA呢？
至少他还可以有一部分的financial support.

最近听了WFG的讲座，感觉对于没有金融知识的人还是挺有帮助的。继续听讲座必须得
成为会员，所以想加入他们。
我们知道WFG被很多人看做是老鼠会。也查了他们的产品不适合我们现在的情况。我们
不打算买任何东西，也不想卖任何东西。当然时间久了，谁也不知道会怎么样。那是以
后的问题。现在的问题是关于身份。
现在我是H1B。听他们讲，加入他们是independent contractor，和H1B没有任何冲突。
不卖东西，当然也没有收入。而加入的一个好处是，可以在报税的时候，可以抵税。
IRS那里肯定有记录。我的问题是：不知道他们说的对不对？不要把我的H1B搞砸了。

foreign bank and financial accounts表格。请教一下：
1。以前的银行账户没有账单等记录了怎么办？根本不记得最高余额了。将来要audit拿
不出东西啊。
2。有些账户现在已经关闭了，也没有记录了，还申报么？
3。为什么要报maxiumum value，这个是用来干什么的？申报的钱需要交税吗？对以后
的影响是什么？比如原来有10000，现在只有1000了，怎么办？
4。在国外的账户，美国政府能知道吗？不申报或申报不准确有什么实际影响？大家实
际是怎么处理的？

，说这BILL没计算错了。
基于现在我的UNEMPLOYED身份考虑，想申请Financial Assistance,接受一下所谓的政
府支持，但是这个对我的信用有影响吗？我不知道这会不会以后我贷款买房有影响，贷

我看过之后觉得很没水平，他们不外乎就是几点，
1. 还credit card debts
2. 年轻的话股票比重大点，建议比例 （100-年龄）%
3. roth -> 401k -> tradional IRA
就这么几句话，底下都注明咨询费应该$1500, 这次活动送温暖免费 |

不过我觉得，financial advisor是量体裁衣的，他必须要先知道客户的财务情况
、支出情况、财务目标、对投资回报的预计、对投资风险的承受能力等等，才能
给出合理化建议，就跟裁缝、医生、室内设计师是一样。你要让他们给所有人来
几条建议，那他们只能说一些无关痛痒的、永远光荣正确的话。所以也不一定说明
这哥们没水平。 |
