的念头，就一个人，几个客户就可以。没有在firm做的经验，不知道这种一个人的小公
司怎么开始，怎么找客源。如果做小公司，设想客户会要求整个一套的从bookkeeping
到tax planning，到报税。因为我自己是CPA，这些都可以做，可是永远都会有新情况

角度来说没办法支持我薪水
(我的timesheet 都照持填写，但是都会被write down)
上周收到warning之后，这周死活狂发email要活做，但是给的活都是不给charge的。然
后昨天下班前，一个Partner跟小秘把我叫去开会。跟我说现在公司的活不足以之称我
的薪水。给两条路走: 1. 做到下周，把PTO跟Severance换成一个月半薪水慢慢发 2.
老闆说我的1040还有filing做得不错，所以让我做到四月中，但是下个Paycheck开始砍
30%，可能会re-evaluate，但是不太可能。
事后想想整件事情的导火线在于我们帮客户出Dec compiled financial的时候，有很多
以前同事的错误 (有的我没有第一时间发现，有的有) 我也花了些时间做调整分录，但
是老闆觉得很丢脸。(这也是他说他应该不太可能重新re-evaluate的原因)
老实说做的有点灰心，不过这是个在南部白人的小firm...20人不到...上网查才发现很

发帖数: 155 | 6 半路出家会计硕士，工作3年左右，一毕业就去了家小公司，人不多，但其实全球有三
四个分部，当时干了半年，想跳槽去Firm，那时候正在考CPA，一来怕FIRM忙，想考完
再跳，二来老板给了承诺说给办绿卡，就没动。
谁晓得这个承诺一拖就拖了一年，准备材料又准备了一年，因为工资低，PWD去了两趟
，后来好不容易，顺利没有被AUdit，刚刚140批了，这中间考了几次CPA， 过了两门，
后来结婚买房等等等，考过两门就被拖过期了，最近闲下来，想重新考，可是发现，真
的累了。 现在140批了，最近有几个猎头联系，但是问了下都不给办身份。
另外，我们家情况是LG还在PHD读书，是的，读了快7年还没毕业，还是非常非常悲催的
冷门专业，没啥Paper，没找工作，靠不住的主，之前听说140 批了可能H4可以工作，
可能他就赖上我了。
可是可是好想去FIRM里拼一下，一年两年都好，就怕再过几年熬到绿卡批了，有了娃，
更没有时间和精力去FIRM了。 大家帮我看看该怎么走，小公司没发展，不涨工资，同
事都是年纪很大的。好矛盾，现在H1B已经第三年了结束了，还没有CPA，绿卡卡在跳也
不是，不跳也不是。

能够晋升的不少都是在firm干过的人。自己考过cpa，有执照，觉得在industry一点作
用都没有，工作上也没有太大前途，不知道什么时候是个头。最近特别想去firm干干，

firm的工作的，firm好像基本都是从校园招聘。

发帖数: 1394 | 8 在firm干了一年多，受不了那种生活，累死人还没几个钱，就来了industry。 结果我
们controller以前是firm里的audit manager,工作狂，稍有不满意就冲人吼这个东西为
什么要花那么多时间！有的时候情况本来就很复杂。8个小时是不够滴，准时下班还要
被训斥。nnd我感觉还是跟在firm一样，只差没让人time entry了。有意思嘛，做会计
的不就是混口饭吃，还以为自己是500强的 CFO了（话说那些CFO好多都是economics
finance背景，花街来的，没会计的事。。）
以后会一直碰到firm里出来的人，所以会计我也不干了，找到新工作就走人。还好我家
LD养家，我就是不干了也成。
我真的是不明白，你说投行的人也是这种culture，拼命干要求也超高，可是人家那是
真的精英，也拿好多钱。accounting的人何必呢，大部分人干来干去不就是一个会计么
，有意思嘛。 |

骗活动的都是一丘之貉，全部都是著名国际诈骗集团，哈哈。只有创立人还在掌握大权
的，才可以排除在著名国际诈骗集团之外（请注意，这只是必要非充分条件）。

虽然短期讲，可能会提高你进入firm的几率，但其实law firm好进不好留，进去门槛并
不高，而要做得好却不容易。所以，没有必要象鼓动大家进IT，进IB一样去鼓动人做法
律。
另外，law firm面试并没有什么规则，firm也不是分好坏的，不过是一种文化适不适合
你而已，所以听别人的讲法，有时候并不见得那么有用。

可是要我带ssn和驾照给他，因为我没驾照，估计还要其他证件，还要2个refer的info.
我看到大家说不要给，给offer才提供，可是人家要求都发过来了，不能直接无视吧，
可是去之前跟他说我不想带，会不会直接取消meeting?

S-corp不需要，但是要求每一个shareholder的美国身份，公司名字随便取
我的建议：
如果这些您都不太明白，就不要跟着开cpa firm了。
1.正规的professional service firm 大都是llp,所以llp相对于其他类型，要求更严
格。s-corp就算了吧，别开了公司以后，又开始打价格战，把整个行业全给搅乱了~对
谁都不好
2。cpa firm的risk也很高，尤其要做audit的话。
3。你遇到个不靠铺的合伙人，会合理合法的玩你，尤其是你在连这些最基本的biz law
都不太清楚的情况下~~ |

position, which requires 5 year experience.
