charter，就加了个塞。博士囤海钓的童鞋们可能知道，Eastman Dock每年都有一次
charity trip，在pollock鱼情最好的时候，钓上满满一船的鱼送给New Hampshire
Food Bank。我们这些渔民觉得吃顿鱼稀松平常，殊不知即使在米国，也有很多人吃不
起新鲜的海鱼。今天我有幸和一群最hardcore的local老美东北渔民一起，出大力流大
汗，尽了自己作为渔民的一份微薄之力。
今天一共27个die hard的jig fishermen，在Jeffrey’s Ledge，顶着15 kt 的海风，
在阴霾的天气里，冒着雨，一共钓到800多条pollock，fillet出2500 磅鱼肉。 我个人

international，说起韩国人，红脖们都挺服的，因为有一帮韩国人在New England钓的
影响很大。相比之下，老中还没被人认为是特能钓鱼的一群人。你的风格一如既往，你
说的话很直接，可是有一定的道理。那天如果我能钓得在船上数一数二的，我就可以和

If you don't lose money, you'll never earn it.
Most of fishermen cannot catch fish during the first year after they
invest a lot of money.
But they never give up even though their wives come to mitbbs to complain.
They comfort their wives, "one time I lose three jigs and bring back one

Many southerners will tell you the preferred method of fishing for alligator
gars is actually bowfishing, using a compound hunting bow and fishing
arrows. Bow-fishing is much more exciting to many, as it combines fishing
and hunting.
Some fishermen will likewise bring along a .22 to finish off the gar when it
gets close to the boat. Be extremely careful and make sure that you're
licensed if you're going to fish with hunting gear.

冬天的大瀑布没有游船可坐，到下面去的trail也关闭了， 很快就逛完了。在旅馆里上
网查查附近的state park，才知道Niagara River是有鱼可钓的。大瀑布下游不远有
Whirlpool和Devil's Hole两个state park, 河水拐了个近90度的弯，形成了巨大的
whirlpool，含氧充分食物丰富，是钓钢头和King Salmon的著名钓点，现在正是好时候
雪花飘飞的whirlpool

发帖数: 5728 | 23 这些问题以前讨论过，只是现在抛投高手基本都不来了，版上很多似是而非的错误理论
，以前OTG或者Pendulum我们讨论过太多次了。
对于Pendulum或者OTG抛投，主要是杆子的blank，一般讲究zoned action，即一个fast
recovery的tip，一个能load上力量的mid section和一个stiff butt，一般的杆子长
度要13尺及以上，否则力量load不上，此类的blank的主要问题是太stiff了，这些fast
action的超硬blank，可以抛投远，但是对fight鱼来说，太累了，大部分的作用力会
反作用在人身上，没有一点fun，而钓鱼基本需要parobolic，即便是钓鱼竿的fast
action，相比远投竿来说，相比较都是超软的面条竿。钓鱼和远投是两个概念，杆子的
设计也基本不同，Pendulum或者OTG在美国VA beach以南可能多些，主要是岸边的beach
太浅，需要clear the breaker，投送到200码开外的地方，钓鲨鱼或者大drum等，对于
lure fishermen，不适用，也用不了那么远。 |

吹一点牛皮钓鱼爱好者常情，basspro外面还挂着大匾，wellcome fishermen hunters
and all other liars. 他满嘴放炮对器材和抛投技术几乎每一个回帖都胡扯的时候，
我也基本当没看见。
这个帖子我回了一个，是因为太太太离谱了，把抛投配平重心都开始搞玄学了，这个真
他妈的受不了了，我客气地纠正了一下，也没回复他的帖子，就是把正确的配平给楼主
说了一下，结果他来了一句我的和他的不同，是因为我的技术和路亚不一样。我真昏倒
，我淡水时候玩远投funder兄对远投还没概念。
然后就是这个左手发力，我看他和你在辨了，看了一会，觉得这哥们胡言乱语的没边了。
他居然还有脸把video拿出来，我真受不了这些牛皮鼓子，他是真忘了俺们是搞抛投的
，而且我个人对抛投都到了杆子blank定制级别，杆子我都自己做，各种guide layout
理论都烂熟，连这点细节都注意来一点点扣距离提高，他的帖子实在是吹得没边了。
有时候想想，国内的浮夸，居然连钓个鱼，都有厚颜无耻的造假者。

多都带枪。
但是有的钓鱼的热点，特别是大家都知道的热点，人就很多。譬如大坝下面啦，
fishing Pier 上啦。有的鱼洄游产卵地方啦。都是人山人海的。
要么，你可以避开周末，要么去早一点。把好一点的位置占住。或者像楼上几位建议的
， 同其他鱼友拉拉关系，套套近乎。你会发现好多很友好的鱼友的。另外就是寻找自
己钓鱼的热点

见一群三文鱼游过来，大家立刻往那地方抢过去，在这种地方说尊严与礼貌那是开玩笑
了！
一位中国来的女汉子头戴大盘帽，脸上一块遮阳布遮着，仅露出双眼，腰间挂着一柄解
首尖刀，鱼群游过处，就见她飞奔赶去，双手拨开众人，然后站在栏杆上往下抛线，端
的是巾帼不让须眉！
一次在个飞钓的讲座上，主讲人很不屑地说 those are the worst of fishermen，底

的說，不過就我釣魚的環境BC足夠用了，就算進了沙也不用擔心，海水裡涮一下就好，
回家再拆開清洗。
現在讓我換回spinning真的有點難度。我有一個penn 710z自己改裝的bail-less還有一
個Penn 704Z 也是改裝的 bailless 還鑽了孔，絕對是用幾輩子都用不壞的reel。去年
改成BC以後就再也沒碰過。
另外不是對KV花大價錢買高級貨有意見，對他有意見的是一個外州偶爾來長島追追魚汛
的人有什麼資格對一個住在長島一個禮拜釣4，5次的人指指點點，說什麼我用bucktail
的手法不對，用的bucktail也不對。可能我釣的時間不長，但是好歹這裡算是我的home
water，指點過我的都是這裡出生長大在這裡釣了一輩子本地頂尖的Fishermen。

大家都是Fishermen，無論菜鳥還是老手，多多分享才能長進。有時候菜鳥可以釣到魚
旁邊的老手釣不到，老手也必須要看菜鳥是怎麼釣的。就算Billy The Greek他也要和
菜鳥學習。
釣魚的最高境界是consistency，consistently catching. 有魚的時候每次出去都不空
軍，尤其surf fishing是非常難做到的。

发帖数: 1 | 30 轉發我朋友的視頻。今年總共釣到超過50條，最大的一條快25磅，出於conservation的
原因我一條都沒有留。
紐約歷史上發生過兩次禁漁，一次是在80年代末，一次是在90年代。
每次幾年的禁漁之後，海條鱸的數量在接下來的幾年裡都會反彈。紐約這裡back bay的
本地魚群基本上都不見了。現在剩下的遷徙魚群主要是Hudson river Stock，
Chesapeake bay stock, 和Delaware/Jersey stock. 大魚越來越罕見。環境污染，商
業捕撈，Party Boat，再加上Professional striper fishermen專門target Striper（
雖然他們不拿魚，但是釣上的每10條魚裡至少有一條活不了），魚群每年兩次遷徙，沿
途從Maryland到Massachusetts被一路追殺，魚群數量下降也是可以理解的。但是是不
是需要暫時禁漁呢？ 聽聽Paul怎麼說的吧。

我知道的最贵的竿子是竹子做的 fly rod，飞钓名牌 Orvis 的网上接受订货，好像四
千多，在 Montana 由专门工匠手工制作。也曾经在阿拉斯加某 fishing lodge 里看到
过一根，陈列在 living room 的柜子里，那是绝对的艺术品。主人说五千多，上面所
有的字都是烫金的，刻的是主人的名字。但距离万元竿还有段距离。
（我问那个主人为什么要买那么贵的竿子？真的好吗？他说那是对鳟鱼的 ultimate
respect。不要笑，飞钓人里面是有些这种“神经神经”的，有一个 fishing guide 说
他绝对不带 hardware-fishermen 的客人去钓 steelhead，"They (the fish) deserve
our respect.")

人类总是在不放弃自私（并且有害）行为的前提下，寻找办法为自己的行为赎罪。
Catch & release 就是一例，你真要爱护小鱼，为何还要去钓鱼？
用 $5000 竿子钓鱼的 fishing lodge 主人，与不带 hardware fishermen 去钓
steelhead 的钓鱼向导都是一样的心态 --- 人类不能/不愿放弃自私的行为，但借着提
高从事该项行为的成本（钱、以及学习飞钓的时间）以表示对鱼的尊重。这跟 catch &
release 是一样的意思，真要追究下去，其实都是一种虚伪。
但我们不会真的追究下去，因为我们自私。
又，Fishing guide 不带非飞钓人去钓 steelhead，并不是如 Grey 所说的“阻止人家
享乐”，他只是自己不做罢了。你真要钓，你可以自己下水钓或找其他 guide。 |

我记得当时有个ID最热情，好像是加州的。他一看到网上有人出，就马上PM我。很感动
。不知道是否是你？
打猎和钓鱼一样，要有人带。既能少走弯路，也上手快。我从一开始钓鱼找不到北，就
主动找local fishermen拜师。现在我还是无论到哪，都要先找当地的老钓鱼问。今天
去玩fly fishing, 也是约的本地玩了几十年的人一起钓。
但我个人感觉打猎比钓鱼还是入门难些。主要的很难找到人带你。我当时在波士顿，周
围的中国人能嘴上说句对打猎感兴趣的都找不到。后来，我痛下决心，加入了hunting
club. 那个俱乐部的氛围很好，他们安排俱乐部里最好的猎手当我师傅。结果我自己不
争气，一直忙考试，最后还搬走了。
现在离nightrunner最近，偶尔找他打枪射箭。但我俩不在一个州，我也很忙，就一直

quite and calm feeling this picture should have
conveyed to us..
