I think it is fishy for your agent to give you such suggestion. As Splitmind
mentioned, currently it is seller's market, bidding price is one concern
but downpayment, cash offer, contingency....etc are the other critical
factors too, especially for the short sale offer.
All the lenders wanna get minimum risk, maxium benefit, fastest closing,
shortest contigency...
Even you put 20 or 25% down, you might still not be able to get this house.

the proper way to measure radon level is to close all doors and windows for

100pCi/L can easily be a misinterpretation of the Geiger counter reading by

等到今天下午都没有电话。我就再打电话到RPG，接电话的是另一个女孩，她说上次接
