做Column试验的时候，一般要先run一下tracer，从tracer的break through curve（
BTC）来fit一个dispersivity。理想情况下，因为tracer不会有任何反应，所以在1个
pore volume（PV）的时候BTC上对应的C/C0应该是0.5。但是由于试验操作上总会有一
点误差，尤其是pore volume，porosity以及pore velocity(v)的测量和确定，所以最
终BTC上C/C0=0.5对应的PV一般很少刚好在1PV上，多数情况下会大于1PV。
以前一位师兄告诉我，可以认为pore volume测得不准，通过调整pore volume使得C/C0
=0.5对应在1PV来得到相应的porosity和linear velocity，然后来fit dispersivity。
有的人同时fit dispersivity和velocity，这样其实就是默认pore volume和porosity
测得不准。也看到有的人在paper上发表的数据是同时fit dispersivity和retardation |

我现在有cost为outcome的数据，要用gamma distribution来fit,
但是难题是predictors有1000个,所以又要同时选择predictor.
我的想法:
1.如果用stepwise方法来选，就可以既fit gamma 又同时select variables. 在R中可
以实现，但老板所stepwise不好，让用lasso来select variables.
2.如果直接先用lasso选变量，再去fit model，好像也不太对。因为lasso fit的
是least Angle regression, 不是基于gamma distribution. 应该不能适用于cost
data.
不知道大家遇到这种问题该怎么办，SAS, Stata or R, 那个能解决这个问题呢？
或者有什么好的建议，先谢谢了！ |

mixed model.
瞎说一下：
可以假设不同数据源的data都是相同类型的distribution，不同的只是参数。
参数可以用mean，std啥的来估计。
主要问题是找分布类型。
每个数据源的数据，你可以试试fit distribution。找出几种fit得比较好得分布做候
选。
对于每种后选分布，根据参数来fit所有数据源，看看那个最好。
最后，如果相同地点，相同年代的数据参数类似，那就更好了，可以justify你这个方
法。 |

上礼拜烙印大老板开会，手下的managers 基本都是烙印，要求招人一定要
culture fit。manager 门个个心领神会。其中一个只招烙印，interview 时有一老美
极力反对招这个阿三，因为啥也不懂 ，阿三经理根本不当回事，给了offer，非常好的
package 和 level 都很高。我知道有几老中的 candidates，烙印连电话都
不打就reject 了。这就是目前和未来的IT老中就业和未来 |

It looks like the O-ring is wider.
1) use a wire hanger to hook the fitting so it won't drop in the radiator.
2) use a plier to pull out the O-ring out.
3) you should be able to pull 50% of the fitting up with the wire hanger.
4) you are on your own because I am not sure if there is enough fitting
for you to pull it with with a plier or do you have anything L shape tool
that is strong enough to pull it up

craigslist上面二手的fit幾乎不比原車便宜多少。而且賣的話相當容易。

是特别能装，真是城市开车的利器。这车基本就没啥操控，更别提隔音了，基本只能靠
音响隔绝噪音。另外必须要吐槽的是这车的转弯半径真的不小，没有同级别的小车那么
灵活，好多时候一把都转不过来。据说新款的发动机更好了，追求省油大空间又省心的

hatchback就多了。说下优点：1，相对能装货。其他同型的屁股要么扁，要么斜，fit
的屁股比较大方，所以空间大；再有第二排座位可以彻底放平，然后海尔小洗衣机也能
塞下了；最绝的是passenger座也可以放平，连从lowes买的架床的板子也能装，在小车
中这个好像只此一家。以对于手头拮据买不起大车又不得不运点东西的人还是比较实用
。比一般sedan确实实用。2，不怎么出问题，就换过一次闸和保险丝。
缺点：1，开山区的路时，爬坡就要靠右给别人让路，没劲。2，毕竟小，后排坐三人比
较挤。
