来了来了，前两天有MM发帖问是更喜欢湘菜还是更喜欢川菜。讨厌，最烦别人问我这个
问题了，都是我的心头最爱，每次选择都要纠结死。早先做了爆炒鸡杂，应该算是湘菜
了，看到那个帖子就开始馋川菜的味道，尤其是馋郫县豆瓣的香味。于是极富行动力的
就立即做了豆瓣鱼！搭配一盘香菇炒上海青，一碟凉拌黄瓜，中午我和P吃得超级开心
，海逮了几大碗米饭下肚！原来这三个菜一起吃是这么的配啊这么的配！！！哈哈哈~~~
说到鱼，在世界最大淡水湖Lake Superior边的Houghton居然很少有新鲜鱼卖，超市里
都是冰冻的鱼肉，没皮没骨没头没尾。每当想吃水煮鱼或者喝鲜鱼汤的时候，就只能看
着冰箱里的冻鱼肉哭笑不得。据说这里很少有卖新鲜鱼有两个原因。第一，在这里几乎
家家都有船和渔具，买个渔证也只需要十几美金，便可以钓一整年的鱼，所以大家都不

costco买的dates,amazon买的 unsweetened coconuts flake,honey, 还有peanut
butter.
a)1 cup dried dates
b)1 cup coconut flakes
c)2 big spoon peanut butter
d)2 spoon honey
把 a) 和b) 放到blender里，绞碎。然后放入honey, peanut butter, 继续绞，直到看
着像面团状，取出，揉成一团。然后分割成等大小团，每个小团捏成长条状，然后放
到 一个盒子里，放到冰箱里冻上。几个小时后，就可以拿出来吃了。我感觉跟
cliffbar很 像，就是没有添加更过的糖分。dates本身有很多糖，但是属于natural
sugar. coconuts 也很有营养，有各种微量元素。
要是peanut butter放多了，做完的成品可能会很软，可以考虑减少peanut butter的量
。这个方子也是我突发奇想来的，是实验品。 |

出门在外，很多事情都不会像在家里时那么方便，最不方便的也许就是上厕所了。如厕
也分大小两种，先从小的说起吧，这又分男女之说，男生相对于简单许多，只要找棵大
树或少许高的灌木就可解决，实在忍不住时，面壁背众也可将就。女生可就尴尬许多，
尤其男女同游时，一时找不着厕所，忍着对不住自己的身体，说出来又怕面子上过不去
，更不好意思在外解决，真是诸多尴尬。偶此次犹他行，同行者是湾区数大名人，有湾
区第一大帅哥及湾区著名男女id，一路中遇到如厕情况种种，想来不亦乐乎！
首发是在从vegas去capital reef national park的路上。vegas天气明媚，排着长队等
着吃完了china town美味的午饭，偶们离开vegas时已经是下午了。刚刚驶进犹他州，
气候就开始大变啦，先是零星飘起了一些snow flake，偶们正在车里酸酸的感叹着要过
一个white christmas，snow flake刹时转成了snow storm。开着开着，高速路中得分

家里刚吃完了一大罐泡菜，好大的一个瓶子，容量足有一加仑，亮晶晶的。
刚好在walmart看见那些common goldfish才一quarter一条，于是乎买了3条。看了看货
架，水草也还很诱人，买了一包小水草（＄2），goldfish flake（$2）一瓶。养鱼开
始。
兴冲冲的跑回家，从水龙头里接了一大瓶水，把金鱼，水草，goldfish flake一股脑扔
进去。
One hour later, first one dead ... three hour later, all dead ...
Part II 粉不甘心
我这一代人，显然继承了老一辈革命家迎难而上的优良品质。 于是决定开始做功课，
google, wiki，etc. 一个通宵。
激动的杀到walmart (这地方你还能去哪？petco好远的说)，杀了很多趟， 不过
walmart挺好的,穷人的朋友。

有的甚至腐烂得剩下骨架都不捞出来
鱼缸里都是毫无装饰，连砂子石子都懒得弄
据说每天晚上喂一次鱼，不管啥鱼都是撒一把flake food
看那些河豚啊、招潮蟹啊也只好吃flake food
betta fish都放在阴暗角落里，有的死后长霉了都没人知道

2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic lightly browned in the hot olive oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
stir frequently
1 lime
1/2 cup fresh chopped basil
1 cup fresh chopped parsley
1 cup dry white wine or dry vermouth
Heat olive oil gently in a saucepan. Add the finely chopped garlic, red
pepper flakes, basil, and parsley. Juice the lime into this mixture. Stir in
wine or vermouth, keeping sauce warm.

居民后院棒打浣熊被控虐待动物
昨日(周三)早晨5点50分，多伦多警方接到多名市民报告，称Bloor西街和Lansdowne Ave附近的Rankin Crescent上的一所镇屋(townhouse)内，有一名男子正在用工具袭击自家后院中一群小浣熊。 警员按址赶至现场调查，在事发现场的后园角落发现一只受伤的小浣熊，浣熊妈妈则已将另外的两只浣熊幼崽带走。
