如果说fund of fund要推销一些产品需要呼悠我能理解, 真要那么牛能forecast hedge
fund return, 自己开个hedge, 根据自己对自己strategy return的forecast, long/
short自己的strategy好了.
and i dont feel most hedge fund strats are well understood. otherwise it is
too easy to make money against them. Many strats are similar though, but the
small different part can make a big impact on the overall performance. |

职位是做loss forecasting的，电面的时候老板说建模知识啥的应该是没问题，
但可能要补点business的背景。
只有三天时间了，看书肯定是来不及了，我搜了loss forecasting的ppt，但里面的术
语都不知道，net flow啊，delinquency啊，虽然一个个查了知道意思，但还是没有一
个大的背景知识，不知道哪些词是重要/基本。
请问大家现在应该看哪些方面/模型/关键词恶补一下呢？有没有经典的材料可以大致知
道business背景知识的？对survival，logistic regression什么的还是比较熟悉的，
金融里面会用到这些吗？

定input series的p,q, 分子，分母的参数挺困难，偶然发现SAS还有个SAS High-
Performance Forecasting 的package，竟然有些很好的proc专门针对transfer
function，可以自动identify 相关系数和参数，这个package有没人用过？是单独的一
个软件还是必须运行在SAS 平台上的？ 有没人下载用过？ |

World economic growth is originating almost exclusively from the emerging
world
The IMF released its updated take on the world's economic growth prospects
on January 24th. Dragged down by the euro crisis, the Fund expects world
economic output to slow to 3.3% in 2012, against an estimate of 3.8% for
