作，身上就只允许带一支笔，一个小本子，其它任何东西都不能带。因为发动机转起来
以后，如果有什么东西被吸进去，发动机就损坏了。我们在海军里面把它叫做FOD，意
思就是热部件损坏（Fire Object Damage）。比如说象石头这样的东西被吸进去了，发
动机马上就报废了。所以我们身上不能带车钥匙，不能带发卡，任何东西都不能带。我
们每个人都有一个自己的小锁柜（Locker），除了这两样我们允许带的东西之外，剩下
的个人物品全都放在自己的锁柜里面。
让我们带纸和笔，是因为每次飞机一回来，我们必须记录很多数据，比如机油量、汽油
量，还有检查结果，发现什么问题等等。我们记下这些数据后，要拿回航线屋去计算，
用一些公式，对照一些表格，算一下油量是不是正常，怀疑有问题必须马上上报。还有
就是要在电脑上发信息给飞行队，飞机什么时候出去，什么时候回来，有些什么情况，
需要做些什么。这些工作很细，我们要一件一件做好。所以我们也不是完全不动脑子，
光干体力活就行。军队要求参军的必须是高中生，不是没有道理的。

文章有数字才有说服力。我那朋友为此很看了很多资料，包括Rodger的那本《木船时代
：解析乔治王时代的帝国海军》。在那本书里，Rodger仔细比较了英国海军的作战效率
。先说伤亡情况。比如说，英法七年战争（1756-1763）中，交战双方舰队规模差不多
。双方交手十次，英国海军死伤195人，法国海军死伤1365人，差不多是7倍。1801年哥
本哈根战斗中，英国海军损失1000人（这么巧？），可怜的丹麦人，整个海军全灰飞烟
灭，死了两千，还有3500人被俘虏。这样说吧，从1793到1805一共发生六次大规模的海
战，英国人就死伤5749（数字真精确）人，相比而言，他们的对手死伤16313人，还有
22657人被俘。
再说舰只的情况。拿破仑战争时期，从1793到1815年，小级别战舰（战舰级别问题见下
）如护卫舰（frigate）损失情况如下：和法国人打仗英国人就损失了区区17，其中被
俘虏了9艘。法国人呢？苯苯的法国海军损失了229艘护卫舰。各级战舰总体损失如下：

Nations with announced roles in military action:
Britain announced on Friday that it would imminently start moving fighter
jets as well as air-to-air refuelling and surveillance aircraft to bases
closer to Libya.
France was also making plans to scramble fighter planes.
Canada plans to deploy six CF-18 fighter jets as well as up to 200 military
personnel to support the planes.
Denmark said it would send six F-16 planes and one military transport plane

中国官方媒体报道，2月25日，中国新型056系列护卫舰首舰交舰仪式在上海举行。这种
新型护卫舰隐身性能更好、电磁兼容性强、先进技术应用广泛等特点，将主要担负巡逻
警戒护航、单独或协同其他兵力执行反潜作战、对海作战等任务。
美联社说，中国海军正在建造20艘056系列护卫舰，取代现在使用的053系列，这标志着
中国海军开始升级换代，进入了批量生产、有序更新的新时代。报道说，在目前南中国
海和东中国海领土争端中，新型护卫舰将大幅加强中国海上巡逻以及护航的实力。
法新社、彭博通讯社等媒体报道，这种新型护卫舰可载直升机并装备反舰和防空导弹。
另外一个特点是，每艘护卫舰上只需要60名官兵，比它的前身053护卫舰的人员减少了
三分之二。报道说，056护卫舰在满负荷的情况下排水量为1440吨，大大小于美国海军
的护卫舰。
