comperssion tights。gaiters是防止小石头雨水啊泥巴啊进入鞋子的，长裤长袜子是

现代军队都机械化了，山地徒步基本很少见，就是我军要山地投入也是垂直空降，比如

trail已经packed snow，清晰延伸到9500ft左右，但是off trail，哪怕只距离
trail 1m，snowshoes is a must
很多地方有非常powder的雪，雪层依然很厚，snowshoes小天堂
非登顶人员，只需要有雪上不滑的鞋就可以，连gaiter都可以不用
如果要登顶，gaiter，冰爪，ice axe，缺一不可
接近峰顶的地方因为登者聊聊，没有trail，都是零星野路。我们基本自由选路上去
一路极其丰富，有齐大腿软雪，硬雪，5cm雪下硬冰（可以打v thread那种），雪岩混合
等等
到10500ft ridge后，我们直接选了面北一个坡，朝向center meadow（ground
valley？）方向切下
在松树间比较安全的畅快坐滑，速度很容易控制，某人还是用了驴打滚等各种姿态
风景比baldy好n个档次，有忧郁的林间雪道，豁然开朗的高海拔雪原，最后夜色里
被月光照出人影，头灯都没用。看着山下一片灯火。心都醉了。
建议分两队，过夜camping队和dayhike队

。这次quads抽的死去活来，缺水和盐是一方面，肌肉力量不行估计占大头。用MT101跑
完之后，我脚趾头到现在还是麻的，两个脚趾变灰了，说明toe box还是有些小，下坡
的过程中，脚趾头一直撞击鞋头。如果平时下坡练得比较多，比赛时就会少些痛苦和意
外。还想到一点，小龙也提过，MT101容易进沙子。我在比赛的时候遇到这个问题。赛
前，为了避免这个问题，我还专门在running warehouse买了Inov-8 Debrisgaiter 32
，强烈不推荐这个gaiter，在半路上绳子就断了，直接作废。貌似Tony用的Dirty Girl

但人们对于爬雪山存在几点误解
危险，太冷，太难。
1。危险
爬雪山危险吗？White Mountains这里的trail还是比较安全的。但也看你怎么爬。如
果你迷了路，那是很危险，但如果你有GPS，应该没太大问题，只要你带够了电池，它
会带你回到出发点。如果你爬的trail已经被踏出来了，就没有太大问题。尽量不要爬
人少的trail. 如果跟着有经验的人爬，那就不是个问题了。碰上气候变坏或者
whiteout,该折回时就折回，不要硬上，因为下次可以再爬。我一般都带上指南针，地
图，打火石，emergency blanket, water filter 等求生用品，以防万一。
2.太冷
刚开始时冷，越爬越热，衣服一件一件往下脱，只要你不停的爬，就不会觉得冷，反
而觉得热。经常是只穿一件fleece 就够了， 虽然山里有零下二。三十度。如果你停下
来，就要把衣服再穿上。
3。太难
其实只要你有爬雪山的gear suach as microspike, snowshoes, crampon, gaiter

points)的crampons。 加州所有的雪山，包括Mt Shasta 以及 Mt Whitney 的南坡，
只需要10齿（10 points，也叫 G-10) 就够了。 G10 的crampons 有不锈钢和铝制的
，钢的重、铝的轻，长途跋涉铝的有优势，但不如钢的耐用。
我几个常爬雪山的朋友都有两付crampons：G12和 G10。 G10都是 Grivel Air Tech
Light (Aluminum)的，意大利名牌，所有10齿crampons中最轻的，带有 life-time
warranty的。 在加州足够用了。 在网上很容易订到的。 最便宜的可能是 www.
mooseJaw.com， 你在checkout时输入coupon号码“jibstyle" 就能获得15% 的减价。
另外，穿crampons必须配一双底比较硬的、有Gore-Tex防水的Hiking boots。还要有绑

土人如我者，这个season一般都比较背，san jacinto爬了3次，登顶了一次
baldy也爬了3次，这次总算也登顶了
负重 约40lb（除了bt的全套冬季gear，还带了4L水，事实证明多带水是明智的
大太阳底下攻南坡，不烤你烤谁）
trail head to ski hut (约1.5hr,包括5min的休息，但是除去了一些给某前山鹰社成员
收拾blister的时间），一路都是packed snow。但是下山的时候雪化的非常厉害
全是冰，雪，泥混合物。没有gaiter就别考虑了。除非你想走两鞋子烂泥。
ski hut to peak （约2hr，大坡直上攻顶，0.8mi爬升约1900ft，雪况很适合这种
方式的冲击。先用snowshoe爬升了一段，后来有一片雪层过薄，只有大概5～10cm
下面就是乱石头，snowshoe吃不住了，换了cr |

发帖数: 1086 | 38 此时已然是上午11点多了。这天黑前的6个小时我们有两条trail备选： 经典的Nevada
Falls，或者一狠心直上Upper Yosemite Falls。凭着“我们不是一般的Hiker （某大
牛语）”的信念，我们选择了7.8 mile 上升2700 ft的Upper Yosemite Falls。
这条trail颇有几个tough points，加之后半程都是雪路，我们没有把握在天黑以前完
成round trip。当下决定根据情况选择折返点。一路倒也颇为轻松。上升1400ft后到达
Yosemite falls的下端。瀑水冲击石壁激起浓浓的水雾，在夕照中划出一弯绚丽的虹彩
。此后便完全是两山之间狭长蜿蜒、上升急迫的雪路了。好在诸队员体力充沛，穿上
gaiter，戴上雪链，舞着trekking poles，踩着前人的脚印窝儿矢志不移地继续攀升。

成行。
这是美国大陆14000英尺以上山峰中最容易的一座，上过baldy的就可以。
第一天野外宿营优美的棉花湖畔，第二天登顶，返回。租车胎链前往，风雪无阻。（有
雪更妙）
毕竟是雪山，体力要求不高，但需要有必须的装备：
冰爪，冰斧，gaiter, 睡袋，睡垫，帐篷。
听取了诸多前辈的指教，这次前往根据人员情况量力而行，能登顶则登顶，不能登顶则
腐败。 |

如果天晴， 对于只到ski hut 的Freddie来说，只要有：
１，冰爪crampon／microspike
２， 冰斧ice axe
３， water-proof boots
４， 裹腿gaiters
５, 头盔helmet
和一副手套就够了。ice axe 和 water-proof boots 尽量是自己的，
其他可以借／租。
其实爬有雪的Mt Baldy, 另外一个恐怖的经历是浩浩荡荡的Amigo
－２０１１－１－１ Sanny拍照片的时候，我们刚花了一个
多小时从 Manker Flat TH上到２１０ highway - 不知道是否走路下山
会更快。
Amigo不爬山，但是自动负责占据所有趴车位，堵塞交通，烤肉
和制造噪音。
尽管２０１１－１－１的景象对于Mt Baldy hikers不多见，但是仍然让
我领教了Amigo在数量上的恐怖 - 我猜在Amigo强大的生育能力面前，
任何美国国家机器都会苍白无力的。
