今天收到油公司的信，我已经打电话了，个人认为这是很好的价钱了，据说是只给
selected customer。问了Ken，说如果我的朋友说我的名字会给同样的价钱，但是必须
快，说公司给他的这个特价时间有限。
我告诉他会把他的信发给大家，他说一定要提我的名字才可以有这样的offer，他说
most likely我不会有什么好处，但也不排除人很多，公司会给我奖励，我问他人多了
会不会有特别的优惠，他说不一定。
在发Ken的信之前申明几点：
1. 去不去自愿，YMYD，我不负任何责任。
2. 如果人很多，公司给我某种discount，我不会拒绝。
3. 注意，这个offer没有free tune up。
4. 如果你现在的contract没结束，要注意跟他们说近期不要来加油。第一次加油的2.
199不会保留很久，所以最好拿$100 credit，算起来差不多。
5. 有一个monthly budget，每加仑少10cents，我用了那个，Ken告诉我，最好多估一
点，估少了，额外的不受这个价钱保护，给多了，他们则会退你钱。

9月1号-- 10月2号， 32天用28760 GALLON， 水费 175 + SEWER 86 = 261刀。
大家的用了多少GALLON 啊， 每GALLON 多少钱啊？ 我朋友用的是WCRD， 也是2万多
GALLON，但水

对了，LCRA 的水质很差， 很硬。 每次烧水，厚厚的一层。 吓人。喝起来也是一股味

每人每天至少要喝一加仑水，一年就是三百多加仑。考虑到饮水的重要性，要做两手准
备，既要少量屯水，又要有长期取水方案。
短期屯水有两种方案：
(1) 瓶装水。比如说wholefoods卖的一加仑水，六瓶一箱，整箱买还有折扣（上次我记
着是4.80/case)。一定要整箱买，这样可以叠放省空间。一般瓶装水两年过期。如果你
每十二天买菜顺手扛一箱，两年以后你就有了365 gallon的常备非过期储量，总成本$
292。过期水也不要扔，煮了其实还是可以喝的。
(2) 自备水桶。买55-gallon water barrel，比如这个：

书，二冲程的引擎烧的汽油要加添加剂。package带了一小瓶，可以用来加1 gallon汽
油。看完了，随手就把这些说明书和添加剂放车库里了，跟以前买的割草机的盒子放一
起。
今天去HD买了个1 gallon的汽油桶，倒了1 gallon汽油进去，随手从盒子里拿了一个小
瓶子出来。稍微看了看，以为就是那瓶添加剂，就倒入汽油里去了。使劲摇了摇，接着
倒入trimmer的engine。
然后去盒子找trimmer的说明书，结果看见添加剂的瓶子还在。糟糕，原来倒错了。仔
细看了看之前的瓶子，倒进去的是motor oil！完了，把机油当添加剂倒汽油里去了！
赶紧把engine里的汽油倒出来，倒回汽油桶。这下子好了， 1 gallon的汽油，混合了1
qt左右的motor oil，该怎么办哪？这汽油是废了，可是怎么回收啊？不能乱倒，可是

，（新人有了一点小成绩就特别爱得瑟，请大家忍耐哈）。经过大概10天的体验，我可
以很傲娇地说：这个简易版的grow light box真好用，我的莴笋小苗可以长得这么结实
，完全是它的功劳！
在网上查过，育苗期间，幼苗最好有光照12-16小时。我家东西朝向，能够晒苗的时间
很有限，于是就萌生了建一个Grow Light Station的念头。现成的Grow Light挺贵的，
第一年当农民，也不知会不会是黑手指，不敢投入太大，就在网上寻找DIY的可能性。
网上DIY的grow Light 版本很多，有的相对复杂。本着低成本，易操作的原则，我最后
参考了Youtube上的种菜达人Gary Pilarchik的办法，并在使用当中根据自己的体会，
进行了一些改良。（PS： 我挺喜欢看Gary的channel，很适合新手）

单程30 Mile左右的路程，每天在无尽的堵车中挪动，单程大约1个半小时，除非6点上
班2点下班。
你弄个阳刚的suv在这种状态下试试（别扯crv之类的），mpg也就10出头。每天6个
gallon，一个月130 gallon。这还不算周末出去玩的油。现在油价4块2，一个月500多
的油钱。
开ws车，基本一个礼拜10-12 gallon，一个月撑死就算50 gallon，200块油钱。
一个月差300多块，差不多菜钱出来了。
别提为什么不住在公司附近，双职工家庭很多时候没办法的。
不过我觉着，如果是没结婚的小年轻，耍彪玩票那种，买个suv或者pickup挺好的。 |

energy is 42 KBTU.
A gallon of gasoline gives about 125 KBTU and requires about 15 KBTU, and
thus net energy is 110 KBTU, more than 2.5 times higher than ethanol.
Ethanol is about $2.02 /gal (after 0.51/gal of tax-payer money subsidy) in
2008 (the credit was reduced to 0.45/gal in 2009), and gasoline is $2.85/gal

米国verizon ATT Tmobile sprint 几家狗屎私企搞来搞去，信号都不统一，电梯里没
信号，农村里没信号，还越搞越贵。
汽车GM和Chrysler是私企吧，最后一个破产成国企了，另一个成外企了。
汽油和米国比是贵点，但除了专业产油国没几家比米国便宜，现在北京是USD4.9/
gallon，米国是USD3.5/gallon，德国是USD 8.3/gallon,法国英国更贵。
再说电价（人民币，2009年），韩国为0.5129元/度，美国0.7703元/度，法国1.0618元
/度，土耳其1.1011元/度，英国1.3739元/度，日本1.5179元/度，丹麦为2.4376元/度。
中国是0.5元/度.
铁路更不要比了，坐坐米国的烂Amtrak 和德国的奇贵无比的DB就知道中国的方便了。 |

Thus 1 gallon equally to 11.3kWh. The flow rate of a typical dispensing pump
is 10 gallons per minute. This means 113kWh should be charged in 60 sec,
which is 6.78MW charging rate. This is almost 10 time less than the author's
claim.
