劲。日本车是好，但二手日本车贵的离谱。
我自己做的一个model，以前是为了应付一份经济学作业写的，定量比较两种汽车的实
际话费的，改了改，大家看看有没有道理。
假设2006年年初买一辆2002年Honda Accord或者Ford Taurus，50000mile二手车，假设
开5年后，开到10万mile卖出，以1997年同型号车价格作假想卖出价格。相应价格如下
，从kbb上的private party价格得出。
汽油费用假设每年开10000mile/year, 油价$3/gallon，Honda Accord 25mile/gallon
，Ford Taurus 23mile/gallon。
修理费用假设一次大修$1500，汽车每年的故障率由德国adac机构的2005年年度报告取
得，数据附后，其中ford汽车个别年份数据没有查到，以比日本汽车同年故障率高30%
计算得，ford汽车真实数据年份已加标注。
维护费用假设一年150，保险费一年600。
为计算简便，假设除买车费用在2006年初付清，外其余费用 |

its gas economy.
my opinion is it is no best of the class of but also not "terrible", Overall
I got around 22 mile/gallon. It is freeway performance is atually excellent
. I got around 30 miles/gallon. But local gas mileage does suck at around 16
~17 mile/gallon.
I would say if you want to buy a 5 seat crossover and you like a good
looking one (I do think ford edge is the best looking corssove in this
sector, just my tast |

说此车极为省油。开了280英里高速，local开了50英里左右，油量显示才用了半箱油，
当时觉得很省。结果一加油悲剧了，居然加了12.7个gallon进去才满。就算dealer油没
加满（出门的时候油表显示满的），减去两个gallon,10.7个gallon的耗油算算看，没
比我家的普通车省很多呀。
就开过这一次hybrid，没有多大说服力，不过从此再不考虑hybrid.
另有一点，此车低速使用电动机，速度升高的时候汽油机就启动帮忙，然后速度降低的
时候汽油机不工作。结果汽油机启动和停止的时候车子都会有很大的震动，车里后排座
的人都说不舒服。特别是碰到堵车的时候，很烦人。 |

能源部所谓的 99 mile/gallon 是按照费用计算的结果.
假设一度电是 $0.10. Leaf 可以跑 3 miles (这个数字其实很保守). 假设汽油是 $3.
50/G.
于是 Leaf 的能源费用就是相当于 35 度电 = 1 Gallon = 大约 100 mile.
相比较和 Leaf 类似大小的汽车可以跑 25-30 miles, Leaf 的能源费用是普通汽车的
1/3.5 - 1/4.
如果价格能降低到 3 万以下, 最好 2 万 5, (或者汽油价格飙升到 5 块钱), 那么电
动汽车会在美国大行其道.

，页面已经稳定在一半左右的问题。我的装coolant容器，一次能装半Gallon，我第一
次加满的全都下去了，第二次加满的，下去一半。这就说明，我的车在coolant长期缺
了0.7 gallon左右，但是车子还能正常的运行，水温表温度也正常。不得不赞叹美国车
的设计余量大啊！我的车是07年impala
当年一个朋友的93年的Nissan Maxinum，好像缺了只有半gallon的coolant，水温表就
报警了，水温达到最高。
这让我想起了二战时候的F4U和零式机的区别，零式机只要中了几发子弹，就立刻完蛋
了，因为各个部分就已经计算到极点了，只要破坏了一点，就很快无法工作了。而美国
的F4U和F6F，都是中了几百发子弹，照样可以返回基地的，这在今天的汽车上，表现真

意思是两张，怎么都加了X gallons油。。。。自相矛盾啊。。。
我重新说一下，整个过程只涉及两次加油，一次烧油（简单来说）。首先不管剩多少油
，去找个加油站找个油枪把油加满，加不加满取决于油枪的长度而不是你油表的刻度（
这也是为什么两次加油要用同一个加油站的同一把油枪）。这就完成了第一次加油的动
作，把里程表清零！
然后进行烧油动作。就是正常开车开到没油了或者剩大约1/4缸油，这个过程中不要进
行任何加油动作！
最后，进行第二次，也就是最后一次加油动作，把油加满。同样的，加不加满取决于油
枪的长度，和你车上油表的刻度无关。加满之后拿receipt.假设上面写着x gallons.几
下里程表数值，假设y miles
这就代表，这段烧油动作一共消耗了x gallons汽油，跑了y miles。所以这次行驶的
mpg=y/x

和 80%的highway。
local红绿灯太多， 油耗不怎么准。 大概在20mpg以下。 有过几次大的堵车。
highway上做过2次， 没开灯没开空调， 一次是312 miles加了10.1 gallon油，大概

去。他们说给我$2.999/gallon的油价，平且说帮我tune up. 我以为它们的tune up是
free的，所以就口头同意了。但是他们charge了$100 tune up fee. 还有$85 cap fee.
所以想想还是不想要他们了。因为我的heating system 比较老，怕万一有问题，每次
用他们的服务都要收费。就书面通知他们cancel service.并按市场价$3.399/gallon付
了油费和$100的tune up 费。 但现在他们还要我付$85 cap fee. 如果不付，就一直
charge 1.5%的interest. 大家觉得我应该付吗？

As far as I know, the fuelperks discount is for one time use, up to 30
gallons.
Is it possible to fuel two cars using one transaction? There is no way to
fill up 30 gallons unless you drive a 18-wheel truck...or you have a
container for storage.

As far as I know, the fuelperks discount is for one time use, up to 30
gallons.
Is it possible to fuel two cars using one transaction? There is no way to
fill up 30 gallons unless you drive a 18-wheel truck...or you have a
container for storage.

here is to keep your cows healthy. A cow farm can produce 1000 gallons milk
for example and can only sell 500 gallons to customers. The farmer has to
milk 1000 gallons no matter what. If you milk half, then another half cow
will get ill and won't produce milk in the future. The loss of a cow is way
higher than the money saved by not milking the cow. |

主要是对印度人的口音还是有些不习惯，而且不明原因昨天有一段时间电话背景噪音非
常大，非常影响面试。
题目如下：
1. 打印Hello World字符串。这题看起来简单，但是如果概念不清，很容易弄错或者绕
很久。
回忆了一下，回头又编了一次，代码应该是

这题的trap就在char* c之后，只是声明了c但并没有定义c。如果用debugger trace,就
会发现&c = 0x0012ff40但是c是一个bad pointer,即里面是garbage value, 这时候如
果直接用foo(c),编译器会提示错误: the variable "c" can't be used without
definition. 这和下面这段程序是一个道理:

add up the time when you have water running: for example:
wash the vegetables, dish washing,total kitchen use: 15min
bath: 6 minutes per person x 5 = 30 min
washing machine: per load 30min, if you do 3 loads/week = 3 x30/7= 14 min
that is already 300 gallons/day, without including toilets |

gallon in total.

5 gallon有可能,或者7.5的.gas的话,正常洗澡不会没热水的.
gas有个问题是水的流量保持稳定比较好,而且不能太小,否则
容易出一会儿冷水 |

如果调的温度低冬天可能不够全家，不过怎么也不能只用15分钟。。。
就算你2.5 gallon/min 全出热水那也不到40. |
