直接bust
一桌215，哥倒数第一位，磨到大盲位10个bb，倒数4位差不多在11到12bb，小偷哥中位
2.5 open，松哥小盲位flat，rock image的哥欢快地推了ATo，小偷哥fold，松哥call
with AJo，哥就bubble了
bovada 7k garantee，哥欢快得比第二名多一倍的chips进入final table。木有想到，
final 3的时候一个大cooler，哥直接变成老三。几手之后，又是一个大cooler，哥直
接跪了，尼玛呀，今天不知道多少刀的equity摆在哥面前，哥想珍惜也珍惜不着~~~ |

哥是桌上的chipsleader，大约68k，之前哥两把aa成功wipe out两位玩家，连蒙带抢成
功积累起巨大的筹码优势，并且哥的image是相当solid，从没有亮过任何trash hands。
然后是villain大叔，打得非常凶，一把aa，在wet flop上巨大的cbet，然后更wet的
turn上直接2倍potsize的over shove，竟然被一位长得很像antonio asfandiari的玩家
用small pair pay off。还有一次，villain在late postion flat到哥的标准open，然
后盲注玩家squeese，哥fold，villain直接推，squeezer fold。其他的没有太多信息
。villain的tendency还是跟普通的live玩家一样。喜欢看flop，强牌强打。经过一系
列的momentum，他的chip积累到59k，是桌上的2nd chipsleader，并且其他玩家，都是
30k左右，或者更少。

从chips来说前面的人是转手。所以是不正不负。
但是失去时间opportunity扩大自己的筹码。 |

这时你rebuy进去赢概率和原来是一样的。只不过运气的成分增大了。
对一个技术高于平均水平的player，是不利的。因为他用前面的一个小时增加chips的
概率高于平均水平。
对一个技术低于平均水平的player反而是有利的。因为运气的成分越大，对他越有利。
我见到的rebuy都是garantee或freeroll，或赌场有加钱进去。
否者我不知道为什么要rebuy。 |

There were many courts in this gym and have not been taken advantage of.
We could have used 3 groups, 5 teams in each group. After group play, 1st
seeds from each group plays top level 3-team group, 2nd seeds play 2nd level
3-team group and so on. You have 5 levels then.

正常。前几天不小心脚绊到printer电线，把电线接printer的接口处那部分给弄坏了。
Pinter上接电线部有三个连成一排的孔，电线接口处的那三个塑料棍就是插到这三个孔
里的。但是我现在这三个塑料棍有两个都断掉了，这剩下里面的金属部分，插在
printer上松松的，printer电源根本不亮。
开始以为换个电线就好了，就又买了一条，。结果插上后printer屏幕亮了一下，显示"
initializing",之后电源就又断了。这样把电线拔了再插，试了好几次都是这样，最后
干脆电源完全打不开，一点反应也没了。后来我也没管它就出门了，回来后觉得房间里
似乎有一股塑料加热后的怪味，再看电线（adapter)上显示电源已通的那个小绿灯慢慢
的一闪一闪的。把电线接口从printer上拔下来后，adapter上的小绿灯就不闪了，一直
亮着。
请问到底什么地方出了问题？这个printer是不是彻底坏了？哪位能指导一下不胜感谢

life, to become a manager, many with PhD.

能tenure，没有tenure就没有garantee的life～
但是，每一步都是他自己的选择～
他原本可以去一个没有那么competitive的school做research，一个RO1或许足够他在那
些小学校拿到tenure，他为了自己的梦想，为了成功选择去了一个top school （我猜
的）？我猜，一个RO1还不足以满足他对自己的要求？
我理解的，这个author是个非常anxious的personality，他对自己的要求非常高～ 你
从他的文字可以体会到他无时不刻不在焦虑自己的未来，career和发展。
即使笔者 是个surgeon，他多半也会拼尽全力去当department chair，或者科室的
chief，他就算是个start-up，也会想办法把公司做的更大... 因为，他对自己的high-
standards，他会把自己折腾的很累,笔者太焦虑了...
我相信，任何学校做生物科研的，总有一群faculty每天朝9晚5，依然可以拿到足够的
