发帖数: 408 | 3 最近一直苦于寻找挖geoduck的核武器，自从上次尝试了核武和常规武器的区别后。 （
用了核武器，基本可以满员，常规武器，3个人能挖上来一个就很不错了）
所以我一直在寻找geoduck核武，所谓核武器 就是 一个桶状物，最好有18寸到24寸宽
（直径）， 3 尺长。 最好是铁的，PVC的也行。硬度一定要够。
跑遍了所有的hardware store, lowes, homedepot, mclendon, 还有很多小的
contractor store。 最后终于被俺发现一家 http://www.hdfowler.com/contactUs.aspx 。 他们家有18英寸直径的PVC管子，但是人家是14英尺长的。 而且不会帮你截断。 所以可以考虑团购，然后我们自己想办法弄断。 总哦那个要200多。 所以一个核武器的成本价是大概40-50。
好像有点贵了。
这次打算用中常规武器试一下，例如垃圾桶之类的... |

longer than your arm. This one is 29inches long. If you cannot reach it, you
have to put the pipe down until you can reach the geoduck. |

horseneck clam的鼻头有几块硬片。
Geoduck鼻子很粗，根部几乎和贝壳一样大， 而horseneck clam的鼻子就细很多
Geoduck的贝壳之间的肉很厚，合不起来，horseneck clam很容易合
horseneck clam的肉少一些，不过horseneck clam和geoduck的味道差不多，sashimi都
叫mirugai

for the next 10 yrs. And we Chinese, Koreans, etc. have done enough damages
to those beachs.
I assume there's no public hot spot any more for geoducks. |

Geoduck）。我也不知道怎么区分，但从渔业部的网站上介绍贝类海产，只有马蚌。说

大鱼富集了。至于说食物么，我真没觉得东西两岸很便宜啊。我在西雅图的时候，那种
西岸的螃蟹跟东岸一个价格。
对了，我很喜欢geoduck。就是象拔蚌。这东西你们西岸对少钱？我们这里最便宜要30
块一磅。肉吃起来很甜的。 |

每年有一个周末不要permit随便挖，敞开挖
除了像八蚌，还有各种贝类可以挖回家吃
具体什么时间查查吧
好像不是3月
只是那个东西没有传说中的那么好吃

先生《味至浓时即家乡》就是其中之一。
秋郎才华出众，虽然不是我最喜欢的作家，可当年读先生的雅舍，也曾陶陶然沉醉其中。
拿起书来，光看名字就已然倾倒： 家乡 －－ 果然我们一个个养成的中国胃，实际盛
装的远远超出了葱姜蒜末酱油醋。
可惜的是，梁先生文笔虽上佳，谈到吃，却只能算下九流了。比起京城阔少唐鲁孙，不
但吃得朴素，连见识也落了下层。特别是读到“古异德克”一段， 不禁伏案大笑。
所谓“古异德克”就是geoduck，“又名之曰"蛤王"（king clam）。其壳并不太大，大
者长不过四五寸许，但是它的肉体有一条长长的粗粗的肉伸出壳外，略有伸缩性，但不
能缩进壳里，像象鼻一样，其状不雅，长可达一尺开外，两片硬壳贴在下面形同虚设”
。哈，梁先生果然廖廖几笔，将象拔蚌写得活生生的就在眼前。但吃起来，居然只留象
鼻部分，其他的统统丢弃，这就不得要领了。
象拔蚌象鼻部分，胶脆香甜，口感竟类似于雀舌，更多了海产的甜味，确实乃不可多得
之珍品。与之相比，蟹肉失之于松散，龙虾失之于老硬，皆无味也。
