公司最牛的应该是geologist,编故事忽悠找油的那群人。找到了油就是大功劳啊！
Petrophysicist 就是搞岩石物理的，给真正做地震波成像的数学大拿们(geophysicist
)提供数据给他们建model....
Reservoir engineer 是搞油田开采模拟的。油田开采乱搞的话一个油田可能没采几年
就大部分产的都是水了。要最大限度的实现快（单位时间产的多）和多（总的recovery
要optimize）
偶不属于以上任何一种，如果有出入专家请不要扔砖头。。。 |

坡都会出现。
2） 如果contractor真是说“geologist"而不是“geotechnical engineer",趁早找别
人评估好了。
3） 其实，应该首先联系一个geotechnical consulting company, 等分析完了，再找
contractor来施工。一般来说contractor自说自话，评估设计会有conflict of
interest.
4) 还有就是要看看附近的ｒｉｇｈｔ ｏｆ ｗａｙ，到底土坡顶和底部到底位于ｒ
ｉｇｈｔ ｏｆ ｗａｙ的什么部位。这对ｆｉｎａｎｃｉａｌ ｌｉａｂｉｌｉｔｙ
的区分很重要。
５）可以考虑挖导水沟来利用重力减小土坡上部的重量。

，我们都喜欢选有field trip的课，尤其是老美，哈哈...我去年一年三门课有实习
，蛮爽的，一个实习也就4、5天，实习去过的地方有Utah, Colorado, New Mexico,
Nevada, California，我们在德州，所以，德州的就不算啦～
搞地球物理的需要经常出去跑，不过，跑也是本科生出去跑啊～
其实，误解是挺多的，国外学地质的女生挺多的，国内则很少，可能与老美喜欢户外有
关。不过，我个人感觉，地质挺适合女生的，只要不是field geologists就好，field
geoloists可能一年四五个月甚至更长时间都待在野外，不过，我认识两个比较牛的
field geoloists都是女的，还是美女，让我汗颜啊，Cathy Busby是UCSB的教授，来我
们系访问一年，Elizabeth Catlos是我们系副教授。我的感觉是国内好多人对地质这个
专业的认识还停留在50、60年代，即便温影帝是地质专业出身也没改变国人的认识，哈
哈～ |
