以感恩为主题的活动。
活动方式：（分两种）
1）奔一张自己曾经收到的有意义的礼物的照片，要求附一段文字，介绍该礼物由谁赠送
，有啥特色或用意，为何对自己重要等。字数不低于100。
2）以感恩为主题的征文，内容不限，要求至少400字，原创，真情实感。

inlet，而且门前的路旁（和左边邻居的交界处）还有一个curb inlet。我也是很担心
你所说的，这里6-9月下雨很多，有时可以用倾盆大雨来形容。现在后院就有积水，问
了builder的field maneger，说现在在盖房，所以grate inlet用东西挡住了，以防泥
流进去。所以水流不畅，但等房子都盖好了，那个挡得东西就拿走了，应该就没有问题
了。还说若水停留超过72小时就应该是有问题，会修的。不超过72小时就不是问题。我
也问了city里管这一块的工程师，他说，我们的房子level是45，grate inlet ground
level是42.2,bottom level是37.7，水顺着我家左边的pipe流到我家前面curb inlet处
，那里的level 是36，然后再流到对面邻居家后面的pipe，那里的level是34。他说是
各个level能确保水的顺利排出。我家后院是从前往后有个坡，越靠grate inlet， 地
势越低。 |

1-2 sweet potatoes, grated
1-2 white potatoes, grated
1 turnip, grated
1 onion, cut-up
3 celery stalks, with leaves
1 pound raw peanuts
Put each item in a food processor indivdually. When each item is
processed, place in a large bowl. Mix together and refrigerate overnight.
Next day, shape into a loaf.

上个季度公司刚裁第一轮，七个哥们里只有一个被砍。大伙正忙着安慰那老兄，我
还作东，在“老正兴”摆了一桌，给老哥压压惊。Y，今天撩我头上。
HR还挺客气，说让回家歇几天也好。还让我留住手机，她好联系我。
还说了一大堆，我全没听见似的，脑里想的是下个月的房贷，春节(原定)回乡的机
票。怎么让老母亲不要担心呢？
拖着步，出了门，恍如隔世。凤凰城的天竟是灰灰的，连着驼背山，幽幽的。低矮的车库里许多的位空着，清清的，有点谅意。
才下午两点，接女儿还早。
不，今天好像轮她妈。还是邻居接？
女儿常常懂事的让人揪心，上周学校让娃娃们在感恩节给爹妈做手工品，她做了卡，

只对自己的专业的那么一点东西比较了解,
其它方面的知识就一摸黑了.
即使知道点的也只是一些似是而非的名词和字母缩写而已.
有时候想了解一下,但是面对浩如烟海的reference,
也往往是不得要领.
所以俺建议,为了加强交流,拓展视野,
咱们不妨把自己搞的东西用最大白话的方式(就象dummy书那样)
说说到底是怎么回事,
是干嘛用的,关键问题是什么,
前景及与其它专业的相互关系
给简单的介绍一下,
这样不是很开拓知识面吗?
比如俺先说吧,
俺是做fiber Bragg grating (FBG)的,
这个东西是这样的:
在光纤中掺入某些物质,比如"B, Ge..."
就会使光纤具有光敏性(photo-sensitivity)
如果用紫外laser通过一个phase mask照射这种光纤,
就可以在光纤上写出grating,
由grating方程可以算出它对某一个波长是反射的,
而对其它波长全部透射.
这样,这种FBG就可以作为Optical filter, de/multiplexer,
