的kids比赛，我就可以去这个越野三项赛了。越野三项Off-Road Triathlon，ITU（国
家三项协会）称之为Cross Triathlon，就是游泳（还是一样的开水游泳哈，没有越野
游泳），山地车（mountain biking）和越野跑（trail running）。山地车是我的老本
行，所以想想这个比赛应该很适合我。
"Mine" Over Matter 在Kelso Quarry Park举行，几十年前这里是个采石场，挖掘
limestone的，后来居民反对抗议背叛关门卖给了自然保护区，并入了相邻的Kelso自然
保护区公园。游泳的“湖”其实是以前挖掘出来的一个大坑，中间特别深，处于安全考
虑，这个湖一直还没有对公众开放，只有这种比赛上才有机会去里面游泳。湖边上现在
造了个人工的沙滩，湖水特别清亮干净暖和，翡翠绿色，很像Banff的Lake Louise的水
，就只差冰川了，游起来特别舒服。

重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。
