总是碰到大公司与小公司的抉择问题，
当初我自己想的时候是毕业后大概会先进大公司锻炼两年吧，
不过小公司的工作机会真的来了的时候发现果断地动摇了。
于是现在更偏好小公司了。
想请教一下在小公司工作的缺点。
小公司： Base 80K, Discretionary Bonus, Financial Industry, Location: CT
大公司： Base 100K, Location: CA
都Sponsor H1B 和 GC. 都是Developer.
区别在于小公司是金融方向，团队非常强。
大公司牌子响，但日常工作听说很无趣。
没有Location方面的特别顾虑。
从职业规划考量，小公司更符合条件；
从团队角度考虑，小公司更有诱惑力 （都从工科TOP5学校毕业 多年金融从业经验）
好像现在我自己看到的都是小公司的优点；
希望有同学能泼点冷水。

猎头说他们可以给12万的base和30%的bonus。。在greenwich, CT(房价贵的吓死人了。
。)本人西部学校ECE phd一枚没有任何finance经验，实在是有点怵啊。因为完全没有
前辈在这个公司，同学里连往东部finance相关领域发展的都没有。号称是过去做risk
的，完全用C++工作（反正我完全不会java）
实在不知道这公司怎么样。。。也不知道这个工资如何。。我还有几个EECS大公司的
offer最高base能给到11万把。。望懂行的各位指点迷津啊。。 |

话！有公司承诺一辈子养你、给你你满意的钱么？先干几年拿到钱后面不满意了再走，
这难道不是CS常态么？Startup如果上市难道保证你每几年都能发一次大财么？

million，10million以上 house的town可是纽约郊区哦， greenwich ct 秒杀
beverley hills， los alto hills。 秒杀palo alto的town纽约郊区至少3个。弯曲便宜
的很少，纽约郊区便宜的多，不过都是烂区. 2013 top earning towns 前十大多都是
纽约的郊区，09年金融风暴之前全是纽约的郊区。 只不过中国人不善于nyc混，善于

express train，到grand central最快50分钟，慢的时候70分钟。加上两头走路，每天
到midtown上班单程一个半小时。让我欣慰的是我们公司身价千万的CTO也这样。 |

话说Stamford是我见过最垃圾的城市之一。既没纽约热闹，也不如康州北部宁静，道路
坑坑洼洼颠死人。靠海的别墅区是不错，出来不到1mile立马变贫民窟。自从UBS搬走
RBS解散后基本就是个死城。
出来Greenwich是很好，基本全白人，但上班太远了，火车站的parking list能等两年
。而且白人也很排外，尤其这两年中美关系不稳定。 |
