学生。但给过分后尽量不要改。学生们之间信息传的很快。以后找分的人会越来越多。
给自己添堵。
另外学生找分的事，只在办公室当面谈。尽量不要写Email。我上学期担任 Grievance
Committee 的 主席，一个教授的Email里的话让学生抓住纠缠不放。你写一句话时都应
想想以后dispute的时候能否经得住考验。你给学生的Email以后有可能会转给系主任，

以前老系主任对我相对很公平。新主任跟我同时拿到tenure的，年龄也相当。感觉他一

是唯一的非白人。跟同事相处也很融洽，没矛盾。以前的老系主任会给我的一门课安排

课时），为了满足教授任课不能超过9个课时的要求，他把一门门课的课时改成由3变1

门不是同样的课程). 这样四门课加起来是8课时。而且为了达到实际上的9课时，那两
门课放在一起上（同一时间同一教室），并美其名曰"stacked class". 实际每周还是
教3课时，当然两门课放一块了。但我课下得准备两门课啊。这弄得我很不快，觉得很
不地道。此外那课也没法上，一块儿不好弄。我要求他pay 一门课的overload， 被拒
绝。退一步，不要钱，但给我12课时的纸面上的credit, 拒绝。那两门课一直都是3课
时。
问了工会。工会的人说那是非法的。要给他发grievance letter. 我觉得没必要把事情
搞大，就说不要发信了。一个多月了，我也没告诉系主任我找工会了。今天我给主任发
信，说工会的人说了，这是违规的。他给我回信说我accuse他。他还说他要跟院长谈谈
，再具体回复我。

但是讨论分数要坚决说 "NO!". 给多少分是你天经地义的权利，也是学术自由的一部分
。那些主动来要讨论分数都是难缠的主，你要是开了个头，以后就有你烦的。

凡事总想搞个对错来。还有“轻易不要跟律师找麻烦“，所以律师才有持无恐。谢谢大
家，我到NY BAR ASSOCIATE 发一个grievance process 看看。
说明一下：我买了Lender’s Title Insurance ($900)， 否则，BOA不会贷款给我.
如果我不买Owner Title Insurance， 最烂的是我的房子没了，downpay+ closing
cost没了，我的理解是这样的. |

发帖数: 8162 | 48 mortgage contingency大概是有的，但是律师延误，过了45天的期限而且没有及时向卖
方要求延期之类。一楼写了“合同规定的45天”, 你做agent一看就明白了。
楼主如果实在觉得不爽，直接向纽约的grievance committee投诉律师neglect，如果扣
了律师费，同时向bar association寻求帮助。我怀疑这$800是律师扣掉的费用。。。

“(During final walk through), If you have small grievances, your agent can
negotiate money for you to make the repair after closing, or the title
company can hold back some of the seller's proceeds in escrow until the
situation has been resolved. It is during times like this that you need a
good agent to represent your interests.”
问题是那本书作者是texas的，我不知道符不符合加州的实际操作。所以我们要和title

发帖数: 17 | 50 我前段时间到ucla medical center 看病. 在保险单上每次医生charge 我$195,
ronald regan medical center charge 我$265 - $ 290, 我觉得不合理, 医生在 ucla
ronald regan medical center里开诊, 每次护士也就给我量一量血压,体重,脉搏,
医生再给我看病, 时间一共加起来不超过30 分钟. 我对医生的费用没有意见,但是对医
院的收费很不气愤, 我已写信给保险公司抱怨, 保险公司说已开始review 我的
grievance. 另外我还对UCLA medical center 对验血检验的收费过高有异议, 我两三
个月前在另一个 lab 中也做了几乎同样的检验, 其收费只是UCLA的三分之一. 不知各
位是否有类似的经验或建议,以便我同保险公司进一步争辩我的 case. (note: 我现在
的保险不cover 这些费用) |
