中华小将历来在各项世界少棒赛中拥有辉煌战果，把外队小朋友打哭，几乎是这些小球员
和棒球迷的共同回忆，也一并打出十多年前对于中华队菁英组队问题的质疑声浪。
1987年，中华队在威廉波特少棒赛缔造21:1赛史最大冠军赛比分差距，纪录高悬至今。当
年主战捕手石金受回忆∶「我们把美国队的投手打到哭，一直想下来，但他们教练还是没
换人，因为他已经小投手∶「别哭了！搞不好你以后会比我们强啊！」
中华队在威廉波特频频「屠杀」外队，也惹来美国对中华队组队争议问题，而这竟还造就
一位小国手登上「运动画刊」封面，这人就是现在效力兴农牛队的邓莳阳。

2.但Safeco Field是哪一年兴建的呢？ 估计90%的xdjm要上Google了。破土动工的时间
是1997年。
3.那在Safeco Field之前，Mariners的主场在哪呢？ 在Kingdome, 我敢说90%的xdjm肯
定没有去Kingdome看过Mariners的比赛。没错吧？呵呵，其实我也不例外，本人也没能
在Kingdome一睹当年Mariners(Edgar, Ken Griffey, Jay Buhner.注：都是大牛啊）的
风采！
我今天要介绍的这场比赛就发生在1995年的Kingdome。在Mariners的老球迷心目中，这
场比赛绝对是TOP 1的经典！因为这场比赛，KING COUNTY第二次进行投票表决兴建新的
棒球场（第一次投票，反对派占了上风）并最终通过了,这才有了Safeco Field；因为
这场比赛，Seattle Mariners才没有被迫搬出Seattle(像Sonics那样让球迷们伤心！）

what can i say? Mariners is a sinkhole for bullpen pitchers. You look at
their line-up in 96-98, and you wonder how in the world they didn't win WS.
Varitek means nothing to them at the time -- we had the best defensive/game-
calling catcher at the time (Dan Wilson).
