Maddux, despite his stellar career, was not voted in unanimous. Some
reporters simply refuse to vote for anyone who played in the steroids era. I
do not agree with this approach. But I respect that.
Maddux is hands down the best pitcher I ever watched. And Randy Johnson is
the most dominant. :) |

Craig Biggio did not make it this year either. He got 74.8 pct. The cutoff
line is at 75%.
I just do not understand why Frank Thomas got in. He was a power hitter like
Sosa and Bonds. Frank Thomas never got caught, of course. But he is a power
hitter in the steroids era. This sounds like double standard to me.
In any case, I am glad that both Maddux and Glavine got in. I just remember
how they tortured my Phillies year in and year out.

HR under his belt.
This is how he looks like when he was a rookie.
This is how he looks like in 2005

代的中华职棒二代游戏中就有... 最强力的外援投手...

n*******e 发帖数: 2213 | 8 For those who are linked, I'd say no. But for guys like Griffey Jr, they are
in.
This is a shame that Thomas got in before Bonds, not to mention that he got
the honor of first ballot HOFer.

can be very hittable.

Yet the way is still stormy for Ortiz judging from today. He may have 2-3
years left to play, then have to wait 5 years, then may have to spend a lot
of years lingering around 30% of the ballot.

think Bonds, Clemens, Rose, Palmero... all should get in. Just do not use
double standards.
