整个extended warranty这个词就很misleading，其实它完全是个保险。能不能赔完全
要看
adjuster的心情，跟VW厂家保修完全不同。
而且Fidelity的plantium 虽然说是7Y/70K，但是wear and tear 保险到了50K就终止了。
也就是说过了50K，它就可以用自然磨损这个借口来拒赔。就是说要是每年开的少还好。
要是开的多，过了3年厂家保险就差不多了。
它的plantium虽然是exclusive的保险，就是说它除了写明不赔的其他都赔。但是它不
赔的单子相当的长，几乎包括了所有的易磨损件。我能想到的容易坏的它都包括了。。。
网上complain的包括一下几个方面。
1. Airbag等safety feature完全不赔。
2. 车辆动态平衡系统不赔。
3. 33个emission control部件，它只包9个。
4. engine不能overheat。所有与overheat有关的都不行。
5. shop supply不包

ok but no perfect. The following is what I did. Hope it will be useful to
some of you.
1. Make sure you have the right subfloor for hardwood floor
2. Buy hardwood floor and open boxes in the room to acclimate hardwood
boards for 1 or 2 weeks (avoid winter to do installation)
3. Remove baseboards
4. Remove carpets
5. If drywall does not directly touch the subfloor, check if the gap

floor is done, you do not need a mitersaw. All you need is a table saw with
miter cut guild.

mode through table saw blade? Miter guild on a table saw is very short and
can only hold short lumber. You can not move long lumber with it.
I want to learn real stuff from this formum not from some DIYers who tell
things they do not know. |

baseboard installation. It was so inaccurate and dangerous. The problem was
that there was no way to move the long baseboard along with the miter guild
even you have a extension. My point is that for safty and good results it is
worth having a miter saw than just a table saw if people need to miter/
bevel cut very long lumbers.

有以追赶这个追赶那个为目标，现在也没有因为落后在起跑线而永远落后了。我也不反
对别的家长push他们的孩子。比如虎妈的作风，我并不反对。但是我也不会效仿。还有
著名的北大，他们夫妻教育孩子很有办法，而且是持之以恒的， 教育的效果也是令我
很仰慕的。当然，我也不会因为我的孩子不如北大的孩子，就赶紧学习北大夫妻的育子
方法，然后让孩子尽量去追赶。
我确实也有benchmark作为比较对象的。但是那是用于guild line, 不是用于比较出成
就感的。比如reading, writing, 至少要到学区要求的水平，这是下限，上不封顶。
我不放养孩子，每天跟孩子一起玩一起做各种事情一起讲道理或者纯聊天的时间非常多
