章很麻烦，耽误了2个多月，材料才得以从学校寄出。个人觉得申请算是比较顺利。把
我当时准备的情况跟大家说一下也许对将要申请的人有一点帮助。
我个人从这里寄出去的材料包括：
1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话
7183212810
2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
5.写了一封信，表示感谢，一张纸，很客气的几句话
从学校寄出的材料：
1.中英文成绩单（学校有，我来之前到学校教务处办好的）
2.学位证书和毕业证书中英文版（来之前自己办好到学校教务处办好的，盖好了章）
3.课程描述9门（内外妇儿、精神科护理、生理、解剖、免疫、微生物，好像是这些，

转基因这种东西在科研上是必须要搞的，但远不到大规模普及的程度。中国来个大跃进
搞到水稻和小麦上让人吃有些急了。
以现在中国社会一切向钱看的风气，大规模搞转基因主食潜在的危险可能远远超过眼前
利益，况且还又是一小部分人的利益。

Match的结果终于尘埃落定，周1等电邮的时候非常紧张，因为成败就在此了，虽然一直
告诉自己，今年只是热热身，成败都可以接受，但到真的揭晓的时候，还是很紧张，毕
竟一旦卷入其中就身不由己，何况自己也还是有所付出。到周4等match program的时候
虽然也有点紧张，但程度已经大大减少，1个原因是毕竟match上才是头等大事，去哪里
尚在其次，还有1个原因是心理还是有所准备了，虽然希望留在home school，但直觉告
诉我恐怕是非常困难了，在我rank list上第二位的program应该就是我要去的地方，果
不其然。经过几天的等待，发现果然是要搬家了。

从哪里来的问题。没有合格的医疗人才就不可能有医生社会地位和收入的提高。中国整
体医疗水平低下是一个世界范围内没有争议的问题。而这一问题又和高等医学教育，住
院医生培训体制和学位制度息息相关。这也导致了对外国医生准入门栏极低（甚至没有
语言关），和美国形成了鲜明对比。

For my test, I used 11 months to prepare it. ( full time job, part time for
CK).
Final score 250+
NBME form 4 510 (3 months before.)
NBME form 1 600 (1 week before)
The true test is a little easier than NBME.
I strongly recommend doing NBME earlier (at least 2 months before, for part
time preparing CK) and online (at least twice on line). They will report
which part you are weak. After doing the NBME form 4, OBGYN is my weak part.

妇产科爱恨交加。因为他们需要妇产科救场但一不留神病人就被拐跑了。
历史上妇产科有三大subspecialty: Maternal-Fetal Medicine(MFM), Gynecology
Oncology (Gyn/Onc), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). 这三门
是需要 Board Certification 的根正苗红的subspecialty. 另一个subspecialty
Gynecology Urology (Uro/Gyn) 连绵多年，最近几年终于被Board 认可为正宗OB/GYN
subspecialty 享受认证待遇。绝大多数program的fellowship training 都是3 年。

在北京协和医院妇产科工作10多年，我已经习惯了繁忙的临床工作，拥挤不堪的门诊，炒号的黄牛，这一切对于我来说都是那么司空见惯，甚至认为医疗工作就应该是这样。
