重大地產交易的買價，迭創紀錄。
報導指出，由於中國投資者的撤退，美國商業地產市場的成長可能進一步減緩。
報導說，中國保險業者、財團和其他投資者十年來首次脫手商業地產的金額超過購買的
金額。近年來，這些中國投資人花費數百億元，收購飯店、辦公大樓，及興建住宅大樓
的大批空地。
數據公司Real Capital Analytics指出，中國投資者今年第二季出售的美國商業地產達
12億9000萬元，購買的金額僅1億2620萬元，這是2008年以來，中國投資者首次在一季
中的出售金額超過購買金額。
超過10億元的商業地產出售淨值，反映出中國政府對海外投資的態度，近幾個月已出現

见www.ucop.edu，位于湾区Oakland。
UC Berkeley也是分校之一，地位跟其它九个分校没有不一样的。Faculty position都
是在各个campus的，跟学生的数目有关联，而且没有redistribution一说。
Personnel policy之类倒是所有UC都一样，因为是UCOP制定的。UC Hasting School of
Law除外。

到GCT也要20多分钟吧, 也要每天一个半小时在路上。
你这种情况，单程到GCT40分钟，总共一个小时之内的affordable的
好学区，还是有的，比如Rye Brook, Ardsley, Irvington, Hastings,
entry level，同样房子比Scarsdale, Edgemont便宜200k，
当然还要看税，Rye Brook地税比其他三个要便宜点。
对纽约人来说，单程1小时算不错的了

新书要便宜的去折扣店买，TJMaxx/Ross/Marshall之类的
也有卖便宜新书的书店，比如Hastings
