headlight is coming from a quarter mile away. It is 6 pm, not very dark,
most cars have not turn on the light yet. This bike light was so bright and
flashed my eyes, and I could not see the biker. Until she passed, I realize
it is a she, a very fit lady. I changed my mind of murmuring those words for
the high beam user or passing lane drivers, but very impressed with the
bike lamp that could be such bright and focus. |

Xenon Headlight用的时间长了之后有一只灯泡越来越暗而且变得偏红了。此外前面的
塑料clear lens也在高速上被跳起的石子打得cloudy了，所以决定都换掉。
过程步骤描述与图片对应（从左至右，从上至下）
1）将顶部2个10mm Hex螺丝下掉；
2）将下部2个内六角螺丝下掉，注意螺丝不同。其中一个必须如图示从右边缝隙中将
socket extension伸进去下，注意不要drop掉了；
3）从转向等后上放孔中伸螺丝到挤压转向灯的卡子，同时将之向前推出；
4）卡子位置如蓝色箭头所示；
5）将转向灯插头拔下（注意将塑料卡子压下后再拔）；
6）将灯assembly下边的固定条从内侧开始拔出（总共四个卡子）；
7）外侧的卡子需要用平口螺丝刀撬着弹片才能取出（不要硬拔）；
8）将assembly后面三个插座拔掉（高灯，Xenon 控制unit，parking light电源）；
之后将灯assembly整体往前平推即可取出；
灯罩lens是用6个塑料卡子固定的，将他们release即可取出lens。

现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就

DRL一向只有前方的, 因为本身就是为了在光线良好情况下用的，让面对面行驶的车更
早发现对方。
至少我这辆lexus有好几档选择，1）强制不开任何灯 2) DRL一直亮, headlight自动,
corner lamp(里面包括尾灯)随着headlight一起亮 3)强制corner lamp和DR一起一直亮
, headlamp需要手动开. 4)DRL, corner lamp, headlamp全开.
所以合理的揣测就是，你开的是把headlight当DRL的车，corner light是必须和
headlight联动的，所以你理所当然觉得其他车都该这样～

近光(high beam, low beam)之间切换。
晚上开车肯定要开headlight。这跟开不开高速没关系。
前面或者对面有车的时候用low beam。其他时间可以用high beam。如果有路灯而且视
野很清楚，当然也可以不用high beam。同样，这一点跟开不开高速也没关系。
白天的时候，如果车上没有DRL，建议也开headlight，用low beam。 |

上次换机油时给我换过一边Headlight，一个月左右后，右边的Headlight坏了，我以为是上次FireStone换的是左边的，加上当时需要赶夜路，匆忙找了一个路边店换了，没想过Firestone的质量问题。
又过了一个多月，昨天左边的Headlight坏了，跑到Firestone,说你们修的灯怎么坏得这么快，他们告诉我，不对啊,我们上次帮你换的是右边的，MD，那就是说，其实一个月就坏了。。。
把车放在那里，半天电话告诉我报价，换左边要收$68，我靠，立马去取车走人，再也不去Firestone了。 |

I am driving a 2013 CC 2.0T sport plus.
I bought it in 2012/10, now I have driven 27k miles.
It has a turbo lag, other than that it is good.
200HP,0 to 60mph under 7 second.
I used to go up to 110mph on I5 while overtaking others,
but i will never do that anymore.
Some guy told me he has driven up to 140 mph,

高速上夜间是不能过于低速开的，高速要求就是没有traffic时候开60迈，那么这个清
晰可见的刹车反应距离就是300尺
然后low beam 100尺可视距离，high beam 350尺可视距离
你们自己看看，高速开low beam是不是违反法律

把铅条缠上去。然后一些铅条缠在throat那里。再剩下的你帖到拍框里面。你显然不能

近来读了一些刊登在《华夏文摘》以及其它网络刊物上的有关英文写作的文章，颇受启
发。我也来写一篇，凑凑热闹。
写好英文，诸如简单的便条，电子邮件，复杂的论文，专着（书），不容易。这里说的
“写好”，主要是指用词恰当，语法正确，表述清楚，文理通顺（最基本的要求），
再加上有文采，幽默，典故，等等。我是学理工科的，主要谈谈我在写科技论文和专着
（书）方面多年来所积累的经验和体会。其中的一般原则，对一般的写作也会有用。
1． 多读。
听是说的基础，（阅）读是写的基础。学习写作知识固然重要，但在“读”的时候看别
人怎么样写更为重要。“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”，对中文和英文都是对的。既要读
专业方面的文章和书，也要读一些非专业的东西如报纸，杂志。在专业文章中加入一些
非专业的元素如幽默（当然要恰当），可以使文章更有趣。
2． 多记。
“读”是看别人写，“写”是自己写。模仿是二者之间的桥梁。阅读的时候要把常用的
短语，句型，表达方法，写作格式等等尽量记在脑子里。（词汇问题过于基本，不在此
