obbin Auto Repair，说是很honest不会乱搞。我的车子是01年140k的老车。
结果被无情的fail了，毛病大概有一半是suspension吧，另外一半是power steering和
一些莫名其妙的东西。下面是他们列的repair，因为关门前才做完检查所以没来得及估
价，但是伙计很囧地跟我粗粗估计一下说是至少要1500。
1. Power steering pump replacement
Power steering belt (这两样是valid的，我pump有点漏，一直没换，都是自己补flui
d。因为漏液，所以那个belt有crack
Remove steering wheel cover (这个不知道啥意思）
2. Both front lower ball joints replacement
Both sway bar end links（这个也算valid吧，我开了6年不到5w mile，没做过啥susp

如果是这样的话，那他们parts黑得太厉害了。Power steering pump，AAP也就卖$76,
还有30的core charge可以退。Rockauto上面最贵的也就两百吧。

It has 28 leds but it is not bright at all.
It is much darker than a suntree headlight with only 12 leds I purchased
from taobao for 70 yuan. It barely helps for night fishing.
But You can always try it since it was only $2.

很明显新拍headlight更多,其他感觉没啥两样.不过这几点的headlight明显感觉挥重更
轻.
我觉得strung weight 再加大点会更有卖点.
不过tension 搞了个51 lb,导致容易出界;总体来说还是比kbt强一点点.

滩。只要有一部四轮驱动的车和娴熟的驾车技巧，根本不用take tour。这里的路线以
Hilo 机场为起始点和终点。要是飞到kona，只要把前后反一反就可以了。现在很多航

第一日：
- Flight to Hilo
- Car rental：大岛上几乎所有wavy或steep的路租车公司禁止开。所以你租四轮驱动
的车就要犯规，不想犯规或车技不自信就要花钱参加没有什么自由度的旅游团

写写偶爬山的过程吧，顺便奔一些照片。 前面预告的时候有人说这叫登山，不叫爬山
，那就改叫登山好了，反正偶不是用四肢上去的:)
这座山海拔10000尺多一点，trail head在海拔5000多尺，也就是说要上升5000尺左右
，从网上搜来的资料看， round trip 号称12 迈，但是根据我的实际经验，这个距离
远
不止12迈，可能大概有15，6迈左右。星期五晚上8点多从家出发，开车4个多小时，在
夜
里12点多到达了trail head， 换好衣服，背上水，食物，相机，还有headlight， 1点
钟
从trail head出发。
选择在夜里爬山，一方面是想体验一下夜里爬山的感觉，增加一些经验，另一方面是想
到山顶看日出。可是往往事与愿违，中间出了一点差错，走错了路，最终没能赶在日出
之前登顶，这是后话，我回头会说。
本来以为夜里登山的人就算不多，怎么也会有几个，谁知道竟然一个都没看到。山里一
片漆黑，只有headlight照耀下的trail依稀可见，天上一片繁星，用幕布上镶嵌的宝石
来形容决不为过。可惜，即便是星光如此，仍然无法照亮漆黑的山路，甚至连山在哪里

她是一岁不到被遗弃的）。

bodyshop说是要把整个头灯下来，很麻烦。卖grille给我的人(lotustalk上的)说他也嫌
麻烦，就拿个塑料扣给系上了。还是想弄正规一点，就自己来试试吧。
按这上边的说明

先拆wheel liner，然后把红箭头指的固定headlight cover的screw和黄箭头指的三个n
ut都下来了。拿掉cover，发现那三个nut是用来估计装头灯的架子的。cover下面还有一
个screw，像是把headlightconsole固定在clamshell上的，但是被high beam挡住了。一
不做，二不休，把侧面固定的一个nut和灯后边的接头都拿掉，准备把整个头灯先拿开，
但是发现有一根线是直接焊在low beam上的。至少可以把灯拿开一点够着下面的screw了
，拧开以后发现headlight console还是动不了。仔细看看，发现边上有一段根本就是 |

发帖数: 7936 | 35 看过版主之一fatboyslim 发过用3M的headlight restoration kit 打磨车灯。自己没
有电钻，只好在amazon上买了Turtle wax牌的headlight lens restorater，8刀。手工
打磨。。。。
下午吃饭前把左边做了，吃完晚饭把右边做了，出去兜一圈车灯明显亮了许多。以前因
为车灯太暗，我经常把前雾灯也打开，增加亮度，现在根本不用。
发两张图，一张是昨天拍的，一张是吃晚饭前左灯磨好拍的。
手工打磨真是累人啊，胳膊明天肯定会酸的。还是电钻好。而且近看的话还是有很多氧
化模糊的地方打磨不了。太顽固了。不过这个样子我已经很满意了。所以如果车灯罩模
糊不是很厉害，家里又没有电钻的话，可以试试这个。 |

不知道在哪晃着警察叔叔了。被抓了。气汹汹地问为什么STOP ME，＂DAMN HIGH－BEAM
HEAD LIGHT，SEE THE BLUE LIGHT ON CONSOLE＂，教训了我一顿。
检查了车前面的年检条子，要了驾照，后来有要了REGESTRATION。
要REGISTRATION前，还问了下什么时候开高灯对方多远有车的时候要关灯，还好我猜对
了，５００FT。
折腾了十几分钟，给了张WARNING。
平时还是很在意高灯的，当时在中间有隔离带的有多条车道的路上开，有路灯，没记得
对面有车。回来看了看VA DRIVER MANUAL：
Night Driving
At sunset, as soon as light begins to fade, turn on your
headlights to make your vehicle more visible to others. You
must use headlights from sunset to sunrise.

control免了吧， 不如去换个Xenon headlight, 还真没见过没有angle eye的5系。
bmw也真是能骗钱，五万多刀的车里，连皮椅都不是标配的估计也就这一家了，而且
logic 7, Xenon headlight这些在330上都是标配，居然5系上还要另外加钱。 |
