的 EOB上连 procedure codes 也没有。医院的帐单还没来。搞不懂这项是啥，打电话
问保险公司，居然告诉我说根据 hipaa privacy law, 13岁以上client 信息不能透露
给任何人，连父母也不行。让我去问孩子或他自己打电话问。真是岂有此理，哪项费用
要是charge 错了，父母都没权问是什么了。病人要是没法打电话呢，不会打电话呢？
Privacy 是需要，但整过头了弄出这么些烂法律条文，除了不方便没看到任何益处。 |

我支持小政府而已，这是最典型右派观念。和网络中立类似的有希拉里当年力推的

我也很早以前就说了，如果互联网和普通人生活相关的部分技术不再有大的进步，变成
了水电煤一样的服务，那么加强监管是合理的。
现在互联网技术根本没停下来，未来是有线无线还是面线都说不清，监管啥啊监管。
监管的后果，参见医疗行业，一个hipaa 把医疗行业如医院变成了暴利和低效。医生大
部分时间在填写没用表格。
奥巴马医保不在医疗上做文章，却在医保上再加上规章制度，导致的后果大家都看见了。
这还算了，丫们还要在医药行业上加强监管。
里根早就说了，解决问题不能靠政府，政府本身就是问题。

其实family care价格还好，打完折100块钱一次吧。虽然还是黑一点，但是考虑到
HIPAA等诸多因素，可能最多能砍到50？不会再低了。

关于保险问题，如果你现在有保险的话，根据美国的HIPAA，

treatment for that is 6 months of drug therapy. The drug is pretty cheap (e
.g. look up "isoniazid" on google shopping).
If your prior insurance is a group health plan, then followed by a new
individual policy kicks, then the latter is forbidden to treat your TB as
pre-existing conditions (per HIPAA act of 1996).

If it was a psuedo FR (i.e. just a phone call to verify that it was the
cardholder who actually bought it), then saying it's for drugs is no problem.
But if it were to escalate to a real FR from Amex, wouldn't they look
closely at the line-item receipts and see that the charge wasn't for Anti-
Retrovirals?
