steroid spray/eye drops.
Claritin, Allergra, Zyrtec are all 2nd generation anti-histamine, which
have less drowsiness compared to 1st generation anti-histamine such as
Benadryl.
Zaditor is the only OTC anti-histamine eye drop that I am aware of.
There are others that require prescription.
More severe symptoms may require local steroid treatment, including
nasal spray (nasonex, fluticasone) and eye drops. Nasal steroid spray |

you are interested, you can do a research yourself following these leads.
1. NeilMed device (some kind of Sinus Rinse bottle): rinse sinuses with
salty stuff a couple of times during the day.
2. RX: Ventolin (some kind of rescue inhaler): use before each ride

treatment are available over the counter. Besides 2nd generation anti-
histamine, ie Claritin, Allergra, Zyrtec, Zaditor is an effective eye drop
that contains anti-histamine.
One thing you cannot get OTC is nasal spray. Steroid nasal spray such as
Fluticasone, Nasonex are very effective and safe (don't be scared by steroid
, they are not the same as oral steroid). But they need a prescription. |

in late April and May. Even staying indoor won't prevent my symptoms. I
have tried all kinds OTC anti-histamines. Nothing works .. but I take them
anyway. I have never tried those alternative therapies such as acupuncture,
just because i don't believe in them. Shower more often. washing your
clothes and linens may help. I remember I ran a couple of times while taking

后来去看医生, 开了anti-histamine眼药水, 加上Zyrtec-D, synthetic steroid
nasal spray, anti-histamine nasal spray, 症状压下去了.
同时测过敏源, 好家伙, 对好多花, 树, 草, 还有猫, 狗, dust mite, 还有好多忘记
了.
然后开始脱敏治疗, 估计要2-3年. |

发明这种新酵母的食物生物工程学家云维仁(Hennie ven Vuuren)由于每次酒后都深受头痛之苦，于是决心寻求破解之道，花八年时间展开研究，又花了七年时间测试这种新酵母，终于取得完满成功。他戏言一生大部分时间都在研究这个课题，但为求能够无顾虑的痛饮也在所不惜。
他表示，全世界约有三成人对于组织胺都会产生敏感，故此酒后会出现种种不适，新的酿酒酵母目的就是减少这种胺物质。
加拿大卫生部、环境部以及美国食物及药物安全局均批准这种名为Malolactic的新酵母作商业用(交易时使用ML01为代号);另一个酿酒大国南非也宣布这种酵母是安全的，目前正等待欧盟方面的批准。

3. 吃止痛药，OTC 即可
4. 吃 Anti-histamine 止痒，baking soda 也可以（看来是应该用碱？）
5. 等2-5天看情况
6. 实在不行去ER
性；有的说上氨水，因为蜂毒酸性；有的说蜜蜂上碱，马蜂黄蜂上酸；有的则说马蜂上
碱，黄蜂上酸。这酸碱一错可是满拧啊。不知道这里谁给说说，马蜂蜇了之后，到底该
用什么涂抹伤口。 |

cream摸, 没有多大用处. 去年回国其间, 顺便到医院皮肤科去看了一下, 医生说不是
脚气, 是汗疱疹. 给了一瓶医院自配的~3% 水扬酸酒精溶液, 还有一些anti-histamine
药丸. 很管用. 现在偶尔也会痒, 但是用水扬酸溶液搽了以后, 能够管很长时间.
所以, 你首先要确定到底是不是脚气.

Flonase is actually considered class C during pregnancy, which means adverse
effects found in animal studies, or no studies about this medicine at all.
Second generation anti-histamine, such as zyrtec, claritin are considered
class B for pregnancy, which means at least safe in animal studies.
It is probably wise to talk to your OB to see what she would recommend for
your symptoms. |

多运动就好了。有的时候吃这些supplement就是安慰剂的效果。 年纪大的人有高血脂
等血管危险因素的倒是可以试试。
花粉过敏主要是免疫反应过度（不是减弱),产生IgE (免疫球蛋白E),IgE互相交连， 促
进肥大细胞释放出组胺（histamine), 引起过敏的表现。 治疗用抗组胺（
antihitamine, eg Claritin) 或anti-IgE抗体。
另外类似的还有自身免役病， 也是免疫反应过度， 不是免疫力差。 |

The original reason may allergy, maybe not. record the food intake and onset
of symptoms, that's good, keep doing that.

before the allergy season. These are available OTC
- Nasal steroid spray, you can use fluticasone or nasonex. These need

- For itchy eye, you may need an anti-histamine eye drop. Zaditor is the
only one available as OTC. Most of the eye drops are lubricants, and they
simply don't work. For severe symptom, you will need an ophthalmologist
visit for steroids. Steroids in the eye has a lot more adverse effe |

Melatonin is taken at night time if you somehow have disrupted circadian
rhythm (sleep wake cycle), for instance you are a shift worker.
Diphenhydramine based sleeping drug. It is actually an anti-histamine that
has a side effect for drowsiness. Because it is such a safe drug, and has
been marketed as OTC sleep aid. However, my experience is that it loses its
effect after a couple of days.
I have three advices for you:

胸闷去校医院拍过X光片，结果是肺部视野清晰，没有发现异常。
今年的六月份以来又出现严重咳嗽，同时有少量白色或透明的粘稠痰。咳嗽在早晨起床
后非常严重，晚上睡觉时没有咳嗽。同时我的左肩，左手肘关节还有手腕和手指骨非常
酸痛，肩膀和手肘活动时有咔咔声响。颈椎和左后背也有疼痛。左侧胸肋骨上有一点按
起来非常痛。人也非常乏力。我很担心是不是肺的原因导致肩膀和手臂痛，又去拍了X
光片，结果是肺部正常，胸膜增厚，医生也没说什么，说我可能是鼻炎的鼻涕倒流进咽
喉部刺激导致咳嗽，于是给我开了抗过敏的anti-histamine的药。但现在我的咳嗽症状
仍然没有减轻，我对学校校医院的医生不太有信心，想听听大家的建议，像这种情况是
肺病，还是气管，支气管的病，还是咽喉病？

* histamine
* cat
* dog
* feathers
* grasses (bermuda)
* molds (alternaria)
* trees (elm mix, birch)
* dust
* pollen
主要症状就是从鼻子堵塞开始，咽喉肿痛，睡觉不好，全身疲劳，办公室里全身感觉冷
，脚特别冷，常年感冒症状。上个冬季几乎一直是感冒症状，最后是忍的收不了，看了
PCP医生，给同时开了抗生素+flonase喷鼻子药，发现过去7，8年来从来没有那么舒服
过，听了喷鼻子药第二天有回到的状态对比，才明白了是严重过敏。现在喷flonase效
果很好。
5年前去找了当时PCP推荐，看的同一个过敏医，当时测试结果仅仅是花粉过敏。开了要
nasonex不顶用。后来去找个ENT医生，说是鼻子气流不畅，最终折腾一下，做了鼻腔通
气手术，手术之前的医生说法基本上手术一做，基本上把鼻子阻塞问题能根治。做得创
伤似乎很严重，鼻子血不拉及，在家里忍了三天之后才稍微好。结果发现没有多大提高。

长期使用，医生说有可能使皮肤变薄，脸上留下红斑。宝宝脸上的湿疹好像很依赖这个

Aveeno的两款保湿霜都试了，但效果都不太好。宝宝脸上总是很痒，而且又爱抓，搞得
满脸红包，让我好心疼啊。。。

。可地松，也就是皮质激素，是通过细胞受体来抑制免疫系统的。因为小孩体重小，所
以也不宜大面积长期使用，也不宜涂脸。
好象还有一个停药的时候要缓慢减量。药理老师讲了为啥，我已经忘了。 |

发帖数: 5769 | 49 update: I gave her two dose of mucus relief which is an all nature
homeopathic product yesterday. Of course daily anti-histamine. Two puffs
Proair before bedtime. She cough really bad after an hour of sleep. The
cough didnt go away in two hours till she throw out her food and some thick
mucus. I gave her another dose of Proair close to 4 hours from the first
dose. Still some cough but eventually everyone fell asleep.
Today she is much better, so I think the congeation due to mucus is the key! |

我家2宝吃阿莫西林都起疹子，你可以让医生换azithromycin 或者cefdinir之类的。
