Honda CRV 2010 problem list: 85,000 replaced catalytic converter, 5 times
under normal maintenance had to replace 4 quarts of oil, replaced timing
cover, replaced a/c compressor, call Honda and all I got was "please call
your dealership". Every single issue I had has a safety notice attached to
it so obviously Honda realized it was a problem. Please stand by your cars.

没做什么功课，从决定到买车就一天，所以价格一般。写出经历，供大家参考。
给岳父买的车，老爷子的车很老了，前两天挡风玻璃出了个裂纹，于是换车的事情就又
提起来来了。这次我们坚决要求给他换一辆，请老爷子自己挑喜欢的。结果老爷子一分
钟给出答案：要个accord，最基本的就好，样子喜欢，省油。
周六下午接上老爷子跟老太太，到了距离他们最近的montclair dealer。 先让老爷子
选颜色，他看中了灰色。试车，新车只有5mile，发动机噪声略大，路噪不小，但是车
子还是很有力的。跟车的sales叫kelly，大男人哈。一车坐了5个大人，老爷子表示车
子还是很有力，不过内饰是浅米色的，他不喜欢，不过可以将就。天气很热，试车15分

replace defective Takata front-passenger inflators in two new campaigns, the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Friday.

话说test drive回来之后，决定买civic，一是focus没有达到期望，二是civic开起来
也很流畅，今年又是新款，内饰比focus和elantra都要cool，三是accord马上要出新款
了，总觉得现在买太亏了（要不然从安全性和驾驶感来说，accord只比civic贵2000多
快，还是值得的）。
晚上就开始给dealer发信quote，用了edmunds,truecar和carwoo。truecar和carwoo都
只联系三家dealer，我觉得远远不够。edmunds大概是6，7家。结果回来之后，carwoo
上的dealer给的价格都很高，我给了一个counter offer，居然还被decline了，真是莫
名。当时是晚上11点quote的，居然有几家dealer5分钟之后就回信了，可能是系统自动

刺的是TOYOTA（丰田）轿车（任何一款）居然一次也没有入围过，NISSAN（尼桑）也只
凭其一款经典车型（已经停产）入围7次，相比HONDA(本田）有6款车型入围，分别是
ACCORD 29 次
PRELUDE 10 次
FIT 7 次
ODYSSEY 7 次
PILOT 6 次
CIVIC 6 次
本田也是评比10大车牌和10大厂牌的榜首，而且优势地位明显，获奖次数甩第2名丰田

需要更换气囊的充气装置。
根据本田当天发布的声明，本次召回的车辆主要包括2001－2003年度的本田和Acura品

公司，所以你要看扁他，歧视他，才会引来不满。
从口号来看
toyota原来（从04年）用的是 “moving forward”，直译为向前移动，用比较文的成
语表述可以视为勇往直前，但是后来就真的是一直向前刹不住了，就改为“lets go
places" 但还是脱不开小家子气。
相比honda的就显得高端大气上档次很多 "power of dreams" 的确honda是个有理想有
追求有power的公司

1。honda是1959年以来世界最大的摩托车厂商
2。honda是世界上最大的内燃机（内燃发动机，绝大部分的汽车引擎都是内燃式发动机

今天去toyota和honda看了下。主要就是在toyota prius c，toyota corolla和 honda
civic之间抉择。我很喜欢prius c 因为Hybrid local开很省油，但是对其安全性能有
些担心（据说prius c是去年才出的），另外因为认识的人里都没有开hybrid，对
hybrid的稳定性也很不清楚。不过toyota的salesman讲有8年的warranty, 不知道算不
算有保障。

想了想,觉得还是想上来再提醒两句,就是关于PK给RO背书的mailer(说的是附在下面的
这个),觉得这个mailer不太适合在华人社区大面积发放.猛一看到这个mailer对人太有
冲击力,尤其如果是在不了解背景的情况下看到,会让人感到很震惊,尤其对职场上受到
硬度人打压,对印度人印象不太好的人来说.从个人感受的角度说出来,只是希望给PK竞
选团队一个参考,如果真的跟RO有协议,必须发放,也许可以有选择性的发放,慎重选择发
放人群.希望以后PK如能当选,除了SCA5,也一定不要忘了帮我们华人在职场上争权益.

因为我是个超级车盲(看我后面的描述你就知道我有多车盲了，还请高手们下手轻点)。正因为我没有经验，所以深知新手买车的困难。准备详细的写一下买车经过，希望对以后第一次买新车，或者和我一样车盲的同学有帮助。

发帖数: 14 | 34 原来的二手的2001 Mitsubishi Mirage开到143k miles。一直都开的很好，就是门窗都
是手动的，外边有几处锈迹，几个车门关起来有点不顺，空调好像也没有原来那么制冷
了。原来打算只要能开就一直开下去。最近好像driver side front door（两个铰链，
一上一下）下面铰链连接处有些老化，门有些下坠，关不严，door alarm light一直亮
着。去bodyshop问了一下，修理一下要$500。觉得对这样的旧车有些贵，不划算。上周
四用木板和布垫着，自己拿锤子砸了几下。刚开始效果挺好。门也能关上，灯也不亮了
。觉得很美，就反复开关了几次，结果咣当一声，门下坠的更厉害了，要手向上提着才
能关上，还不太严实。没办法决定换一辆车。每天上下班要将近100miles,觉得买新车
不划算，就想换辆二手的，搜了搜Craiglist没有找到好的deal,去dealer的Used car
department看了看，觉得都不划算，老婆建议买辆新车。来本版查了一下，发现大家都
推荐Honda civic， LX OTD price 大概$18000出头。

要查的vin是honda。
目前可以查到Subaru的car fax 但是查不到honda的。
honda有autocheck 说是92分，92分是中等和优秀的分界线。
因为一个是carfax一个是autocheck我不知道怎么对比了，所以把honda的 vin贴一下请

忙查一下。

Subaru legacy wagon 2.5i 算是基本配置。
edmunds给出价格大约在11.4k上，dealer要价16k。 里程在45k，白色，一个owner。我
估计很
可能能在13k出门价拿下，努力争取12k税后价。carfax说它的质量比均价高10块钱。
Subaru的问题——
选Subaru主要是感情因素，以前就开它，我知道这个里程就算国内的legacy也没什么问
题，而
且我很喜欢Subaru，只和国内车子对比过，我觉得比一般国内开价40w的车子性能要好
很多。
不知道美国的Subaru如何？

，最近一堆问题，驾驶座车门把手怀了，空调坏了，最后发现是走氟利昂的管子锈透了
，两根管子全换要500多，终于下定决心这个周末买车了。
在这之前，实在不想再买大妈车了，于是看了一堆7座的SUV,Infiniti Jx35, Acura
MDX, Inifiniti QX56, Honda Pilot都看了，无一例外第三排的都跟小板凳一样，而且
如果第三排坐人的话，Cargo Space就没多少了，放个大的行李箱都困难，于是决定把
大妈车进行到底。
我们心仪的就两款车，一个Honda Odyssey,朋友推荐说是看起来很fun，想sports mini
-van一样，另外一个是Toyota Sienna,因为我们现在两辆车都是丰田的，感觉很不错。
先去了Honda dealer,试驾了Odyssey LX,加速刹车很平稳，我还专门往路上的坑开了一
下，减震功能很好，第三排也很舒服，Leg room秒杀7座的SUV。
我能感觉到比00年版的Sienna的几个明显改进的地方：

plates) w/o much haggling. The price could be a couple of hundreds lower
had a competing offer arrived a bit earlier (or if transfer plate/haggling
more). Some dealers are eager to move their inventories so I'm sure the
price will keep falling as 2011 approaches.

你可能是VW车主吧？
其实不必开什么车就一味的维护它，来这个论坛的都是车迷，应该对更家的技术客观看待
就比较VW和Honda而言，Honda能在2万出头的车上用上升功率超过100hp/L的NA引擎
这一点VW恐怕是做不到的，不但VW做不到，除了Honda恐怕没有哪家能做到
这个你还是要承认的
Honda的问题是近10年技术上大部分领域发展方向都有问题
比如，混动领域赌mild hybrid和Toyota的full hybrid比拼，现在是一输到底
为什么？因为Honda和Toyota都是最早推混动的厂商，谁引导潮流谁就能成为一面旗帜
Toyota的ECVT方案来得彻底，但是效果更突出，如今就成了这面旗帜
而Honda的夹心饼干方案效果不够突出，而且门槛低，现在是个厂商都能搞，它就做不
了旗帜
所以Toyota的Camry Hybrid能生存，Honda的Accord Hybrid却混到停产
Toyota的Prius能热卖，Honda还得从头开始搞fu |
