和宝宝的费用，希望对需要的妈妈们有帮助。
我是头天下午5：30去的医院，6点被收了，当时已经在active labor。但是由于一直没
有开到10指，所以折腾到第二天中午左右才生出来。由于生产之后高烧，又被在医院多
留了一天，整个算住了3天。如果不高烧的话，可以少住一天。

health看得ob，13周B超的时候竟然不知道我怀孕，一开始我就说我以前贫血，让他们
血检的时候注意一下我的铁含量，每次打电话告诉我正常。后来朋友告诉我lowell这边
不行，听朋友的建议转到了emerson hospital的Dr. Ingrid Balcomb，一去就告诉我前
几次的血检铁含量很低，要我直接输铁。当时气坏了。 |

我目前是在BW Hospital做常规的产检。不过是resident track，就是没有固定的医生
，碰见谁就是谁的那种（还都是实习的）。心里一直忐忑，希望找个可以具体负责的有
经验的医生。而且希望是支持顺产的医生。大家有推荐吗？最好就是BW Hospital的。
另外，有妈妈就是在这个resident track里一直产检然后生产的吗？怎么样呢？

发帖数: 5562 | 15 good sam生的，两胎三个娃都是，两次都是c，第一次其实住了4天半，第二次住了3天
半。生产花费应该每个医院的c都差不多d吧，吃的还行，就是老外吃的东西啰。另外有
个微波炉和冰箱放置处，里头也是很多饮料果汁牛奶汉堡三文治任拿，你也可以把自己
的吃的放它冰箱里面，记得label就可以。不过生2娃的时候就是今年4月，冰箱上面标
着，吃的东西只给孕妇，不给guest一般就是老公啦。以前是孕妇guest都可以吃的。另
外order meals时候，lg的饭菜也是cover的，叫guest tray。
我觉得挺好的，护士态度也好。特别头胎时候，两小时就进来好几波人问有没啥需要，
不过头胎他们竭力要我母乳，结果头3，4天基本都没母乳，我娃饿得黄疸了。二胎因为
是twins，想母乳都不够了，所以一开始就先给液体奶。
另外它家出院时候会给你一大堆东西，尿片纸巾液体还有其他一些娃的小东西，
blanket，burp cloth，bodysuit之类的，他们也欢迎你带回去。也不能说是免费的啦
，因为到时候医院帐单你就会看到了，有个medical supplies还是啥的，300多刀呢，

就有两个，医院大，医生多，而且children hospital就在后面。high risk OB在康州
主要就是yale和uconn。我以前在那里工作，我不信任那里的医生，反正我跟同事们都
一致觉得死了也不能往那儿送。我想mount sai nai也一样吧，有医学院，医院大，医
生多，钱多。康州附近生孩子环境最舒适的是greenwich hospital，你在纽约生，你觉
得95有不堵车的时候嘛？这要是水破了在95上堵着.... |

大家好，我的父母来探亲，结果父亲到美国当晚突发心脏病，送到Washington
hospital。最后做了手术，账单>30万美金。由于父亲只是B2签证，没有保险。现在除
了和医院协商，请问还有更好的办法么？医院威胁如果没法支付的话，会找
international collection agency。父母只是普通工人,面对如此巨额账单实在无力支
付。希望大家能给些建议。真心谢谢了！ |

发帖数: 100 | 22 我也不知道是不是那个term，我说的excess fee的意思就是你要是去私立医院的话，无
论你花多少钱，最起码有个几百元你是必须付的。从一二百到五百都有，就跟车辆保险
一样。但是私立医院要付的实际上不止这笔钱，还有别的钱也要付，例如医生的gap啦
之类的，具体也没细研究过。
你说的这个没了解过，不过看起来说的upfront fee是指在医院花的钱你自己先付一部
分，然后再去保险公司报销的意思。具体不清楚，不好意思。
你要是457选保险，个人觉得确定一下GP和平时那些检查是否是百分百报销更重要吧，
因为平时主要用的都是这些，包括生孩子在内，最后住院也不过就是那一次。确定一下
你的保险和medicare的cover范围差不多就行了。就是一般看GP和检查都不要钱。在澳
洲看病尽量找bulk bill的医生和做检查的地方，这样自己就不用花钱，否则有的GP或
者检查的地方都是在medicare上面还有个gap的，那都要自己掏钱了。关于是否是bulk
bill的，事先直接问一下他们就行了。
你要是来澳洲的话，拿457签证时到时报税时要注意一下medicare levy是可以返回来的

interview, so I am not really familiar with the hospital and the city that
much.
I need more information from people working in Scripps/ or living in La
Jolla to help me make the desicion. My main concern is the pay, which is
about $11/hr lower than another offer from a smaller hospital in north LA
county. In term of the "location" and "reputation", Scripps is much better,
but I just do not know how well they treat their |
