我目前在godaddy上用Economy Hosting - Windows (Free with Domain), 目前希望用
php调用一个exe (win32) 处理上传的文件，然后php返回给用户。好像godaddy家只给
virtual dedicated或者dedicated server权限run exe? 目前反正我的exe不能运行。
godaddy家的virtual dedicated 要$30/month
大家都是用什么dedicated server阿。求推荐, 最好便宜又好用。谢谢。 |

个的因为我有几个小网站，也不合适。
请教各位有啥可以推荐的？主要还是希望找到能自己弄起来方便一点，然后费用不要太
高的.

-x、vt-d什么的都打开了，具体虚拟机怎么操作那两块裸盘就不大清楚了。
workstation设置裸盘访问有点小trick，绝大多数人都是创建虚拟文件在Host文件系统
上，性能上我觉得不会差太多，企业级的大型数据库设置都不再建议裸设备访问了。因
为Host文件系统cache的作用，虚拟文件在某些场合下可能性能更好，我设置裸盘访问
只是为了能在Windows和OSX之间自由切换。 |

然后在你主机上RUN一个程序, 只要IP一变就去更新
另外这几个网站, 都没什么实在的意义
其实现在的WEB HOSTING,只有几个大一点的公司

基本都是哪个公司的RESELLR, 很多只不过一个人
租几台服务器就开工了:-)

I would also consider getting a virtual server and hosting it yourself.
It's fairly inexpensive these days. E.g. a 512M linux vm from rackspace
costs about $25 a month and you get full root access. |

除了微软那个a什么东西，我都用过
不是开玩笑，感觉都是垃圾
先说aws
micro的性能巨差无比，编译个lamp 要一天时间（不信你可以去试试）。
性能(cpu,disk i/o)最少比一样价格的其他vps(例如linode)差2,3倍。我也跑过
unixbench，分数就不贴了，有兴趣自己放狗去搜。而且 linode已经全面ssd，跑起数
据库性能更是甩aws一大截。
性能差也就算了，总得要稳定吧？
当时选的是亚麻自己的linux distribute，某天突然发现服务器挂了，结果几番追查，
发现是自动update package的时候update挂了，系统起不来。
amazon ec2的状态checker显示红色出错信息。紧接来的几个小时，我都是在google如
何解决启动问题（由yum update导致的，太奇葩了）。最后没得办法，想发个ticket让
amazon 官方技术支持一下。这时更让我吃惊的事情出现了，就是amazon ec2的技术支

size of hard drive, number of hard disks?
I used "uname -a" and it just showed the following information:
OSF1 something.myuniversityname.edu V4.0 1229 alpha
I think it means that the OS is OSF1, version 4.0 1229, and the CPU is
alpha. Nothing more about the remote host.
I wanna know more about it, any guru please? |
