知过了技术面，但是没有合适的host match了。G家的朋友说我收到那个email的前一周
他家的host match活动就停止了，不再招summer intern了。

面了30分钟，基本上谈的是host要做的project，提了几个具体的问题问我该怎么处
理，觉得答得挺烂的，好像没回答到他想要的点子上，因为答完了他还在反复问同样的
问题....
但是最后快结束的时候我问host他感觉怎么样他又说我的skill set挺满足这个project
的要求的，让我等recruiter的消息。我说希望听到的是好消息，他还回答说I hope so
too
然后就没信了...他们还没下班联系recruiter就不理我了，给host立刻发了个thank
you letter说了一下我的eagerness，也没理我。。。
都等那么久了，再等就再等吧，仍然不抱太大期望 |

host match，结果到现在还没消息
还有一个多月就到秋天了是不是已经太晚了google NYC没有host了。。。求bless求推

said I have been moved forward to the host matching stage. But he said there
will be only 3 weeks for this process. After 3 weeks, if there is no match,
I will be removed from the list. I have some questions on this:

the past, the host match continues until May. Is that true?

小女前些天在坛子上发帖问选offer是选salesforce,GS,JPMorgan还是Intuit,可后来有
幸运的收到了MS Bing的offer，并且进入了Google实习的host match.
Google一直是我最大的梦想，可是我也知道host match的时间快慢不等。
可是MS/现在只给我两周时间考虑，到下周五，salesforce这周五就要回话。我现在真
是急的胃痛+心绞痛+头痛+欲哭无泪了。。。。
我现在希望借助这个平台，希望有看到的前辈如果在google或者认识的人在google，帮
忙问问可不可以看看有没有internship position,给我一个host interview.
我虽然offer拿了一堆，可相比google其他或多或少都没有那么想去。真没想到最后有
这样尴尬的局面。。恳请各位帮帮忙，成败在此一举。
等我把internship的事情定下来，一定抽时间好好整理一下找实习的经过回馈给大家。
也很高兴以后能和大家联络交流。

想毕业了找个码农工作。之前面L家的data track悲剧但是design和coding据hr反馈说
还行，于是转到了application track，需要加面一个host manger interview。想问问
host manager interview时的面试官就是以后入职的manager吗？因为今天跟那个
manager聊感觉他对我做的东西不是很感兴趣（貌似太理论)，怕因为这个给我拒了...
如果是的话，我需不需要联系HR在换个manager面面看什么的。。。

由于是新手，我想请问一下，哪一家提供web host的公司性价比不错，比较适合于用户
多，文件量大，上载多，中国和美国访问速度都比较快的web 2.0的app阿？
一般的web host solution，要么空间太小扩展性不够，要么给的控制的权限少了些
我找到两家Rackspace和FastServers，但是感觉比较贵……

可以把你切了。读一下你的Cable lease， 一般不允许host any services，当然也许
有些家ISP 比较特殊，我不知道。 |

the hosting companies and most of them are resellers.Hosting services are
generally stable as long as the few 'real' hosting companies are running ok. |

如果你需要更多feature，比如在host上装git来做automated deployment，那就得升级
到go geek plan，每月就要15刀了。

比如一次性卖给你2G的空间和30G的月流量，你可以自由
把这些资源化成小块零售给别人。你不用担心服务器
的安全和服务器方面的技术支持。但是你得做客户方面的
客户支持。
如果你自己网站多的化最好弄一个reseller accounnt,
原因是很多hosting plan, 比如ipowerweb的800M
空间，扑通网站根本用不完，但是那个空间你没有办法
细分到各个域名（熟悉.htaccess的也许可以自己做，但是
还是不专业）。如果你有800M的reseller account,
你可以分成10个plan或者更多。
俺有20个域名闲置不用，全都给分了2M的空间，呵呵，
加上一页内容和连向我其他网站的热链接，应该可以
提高PageRank.
很多大的 hosting 公司都同时提供reseller

试图指向那个域名，结果1and1说

问题是这个transfer要钱。。。
我交了钱，却发现第一个hosting server ip被中国屏蔽掉了（当前域名hosting）
第二个没问题，但是我试图用第二个hosting space指向我的域名的时候，
1and1还要收transfer的钱！:(
谁给解释一下这个正常吗？还是我比较弱没搞明白？ |

traffic. 如果预付一年,还有额外的20% discount.

如果预算充足，可以用这个，Tech Support很不错。
以上都是Unmanaged Hosting，但一般有啥小问题他们都会免费给解决。 |

发帖数: 855 | 43 昨晚还是没有抵制住诱惑，买了3个月的HOSTING SERVICES.
我觉得GODADDY好，有以下几个原因。
A：计划非常的灵活。3个月起跳。其他的付费空间，动不动就叫人买1年再说。大家都
没有适用过，靠版上的一些评价，显然是不够直观的。如果用3个月觉得不好，还可以
全身而退，不会有什么大损失。
B：价格便宜。我昨天那个，是属于前3个月的促销价。每个月才1.99美元，3个月连6美
元都不到。要真觉得他很垃圾，我们可以随时走人。
C：觉得大家应该买基于WINDOWS的。因为从功能上来看，WINDOWS同时支持PHP和.NET，
而LINUS只支持PHP.当然，具体2者间性能的差异我还没有机会去研究。
不好的地方。
不知道GODADDY把服务器放在哪。我自己PING了下，发现要80多MS，过去免费的那个才
30多MS，可惜老掉线，而且老关机！

我在美国这边负责维护一个论坛，注册用户大概有3000，访问量几百每天。我的
hosting company 10月21日居然不小心把我的帐户给删除了！我已经算是老客户了，从
2003年开始就在这个公司host，这家hosting并不便宜，每月6.95$。我10月19日刚刚
renew到明年。
当天立即联系customer services, 一开始说24-48hr 就解决，但是一直都没有解决，
我按照他们的要求，重新付费申请了一个新帐号，然后把domain name映射上去了。
这几天我一直在打电话和online chat联系他们的客服，之前他们一直能够locate到我
的，直到今天他们说没法pull out 我的旧帐号！明天再给我回复。
我的db只有到8月3日的备份，如果他们没法recover我的database，这将是个巨大的损
失。
请教榜上各位，怎么处理这个事情？就算他们恢复了我的db，应该怎么要求赔偿？跟他
们打官司的话具体应该怎么作？谢谢！ |

啊，不过shared hosting流量一大问题就来了。到时候就会说你用的资源太多，要你整
改。
Godaddy一般老手没有用它的hosting的。问题太多了。一般hosting公司顶多打个电话
核实一下，要驾照太过分了。 |

我最近让个web hosting公司弄的没脾气了
我以前用的inmotion hosting，
这家公司宣传是说磁盘不限制空间，不限制流量等等
结果 网站上稍微有了几张图片，有点流量了，就发信说，你超了，你要再不解决，就
停你账号
磁盘上ftp里存了点文件，干脆来个４８小时限制令，结果才２０个小时，就强制停我
账号。
这个破web hosting，我一年花 $１２０块，就买了个动不动停你账号的客服。
我建议你看看vps，２５６M的，５００GB流量一个月，市场价大概就是$２０-$６０一
