we can force us to do more exercise.
then we have to enjoy driving much earlier than our friends in China
but it only take you 8hours instead of 40hours to cross the country from north
to south
it is the same around the world
but it is free (I don't know but suppose those peasants are also included in

Pros,
1. Low income tax
2. Affordable housing
3. Fairly easy to obtain PR
4. Decent education for kids
5. Efficient government and bureaucracy
6. linguistic pluralism and cultural/racial diversity. I esp like this part
of the place.
Cons:
Apart from the obvious: of the place being small, single scene, climate
being humid and hot, I am still little surprised by the following:
1. The place has nothing to offer, from natural resource perspective. Zero,
nill, nada, none. :-)

i.e., u can trade food/entertain off for easy living,
then Singapore is not for you.
as to the weather, it takes a few months to get used to
but as a southerner I don't really hate it
it's not that hot (much better than Chonqging's summer)
but very very humid.
And this year it's really cool!
if the weather can stay for ever, I think I'll start to love Singapore. haha |

still remeber that summer in Taiwan is very hot and HUMID. I have been in
Chicago, New York City, and Boston, which is not himid in summer. I often
imagine how American GIs (soldiers) felt in Vietnam.
Cape Cod potao chip is CRUNCHY. But these days, one can't have too much
fried food. For me, I want to live 100 years.

1.服务生爱理不理，
2.价钱挺贵，
3.分量好大。
吃完饭在貌似市中心花园的一个广场里躲了一会太阳。那个中心花园里不算有花，歪七
横八躺了很多流浪汉在睡中觉，清醒着的人类就见到一个小孩跟妈妈在玩，外加几颗小
树下面纳凉的鸟们。空气里飘荡着不知名的恶臭，酷热的天气里呆得人晕头晕脑……
当时着急来到图桑，两个小时不到的车程，路上不时有dust area标记，车子被风吹得
有点飘，一路吓吓地找卡车去跟，转眼就到了。搞掂住处、去系里跟秘书说声hi、买家
具、收拾新地方。忙乎一气，居然就一直折腾掉了一个周末。照惯例，新到一个地方总
是感想特别丰富的时候，人象个海绵不停地吸取来自外界的讯息——
周五 8.3.
搬到新地方，麻烦只是开始而不是结束。见完房东和系里秘书，时间已晚，买了床但人
家说deliver要等明天。于是睡地板。……天气热得没完，传说中的雨水迟迟不来，因
为云，空气中积聚了足够多的humidity，因而热气更显得叫人难以忍耐。……Tucson这
地方除了油和住房，其他物价居然都比麻洲贵。

i also lived in the east coast for couple yrs before i moved to chandler,
definitely much lower humidity; yes, we have trees and grass here :). use
google map to check around the landscaping in the neighborhood, if that is
ur concern.

1.Test what kind of mold. You can buy two kit from home depot and place one
upstairs or outside to compare. Then you will know what kind of mold you
have in your basement. Some is life threatening.
2.Looking for the reasons.
Mold will grow fast if the humidity is above 50%. So you can set up two or
more dehumidifier in your house. Are there too many trees around your house?

in a 55F and 60-80% humid dark environment.
So I do not recommend age cheap bottle, since it will cost you around 3
dollar/year per bottle to age it...Also 90% of the wines are not build to
age..so you will be more likely to be disappointed after 20 years..
I can give you some more specific suggestion,if you tell what year and style
you prefer...I like to age wines from vintages that are important to me..

我们在决定搬到Denver以前， 对美国48各州逐一的从风景， 自然， 气候， 经济，
房价， 税收， 人文， 教育， small business政策， 华人数量， 人口组成， 年龄
成分等方面进行了全面的考察。 呵呵。 各个州都是个有利弊的。 但是从一个package
deal来讲，我们后来锁定了 Colorado and North Carolina。 而CO和NC气候正好大大
相反。 CO干燥， 大概都有点半沙漠性了。 而NC非常humid， 非常容易有mosquitos。
呵呵。 还有其他一些因素等等吧， 我们最后还是觉得， 现定居CO几年。
